How do i lose weight quickly? -

im 15 weight 165.i want to lose 25 pounds quickly. i lost it before but it took awhile.is there a way i can do it fast. what if i ate salad everyday, worked out on an excersise bike for 20 minutes,a stepper for 20 minutes, and did 200 crunches on my ab lounge. how long would it take to lose the weightim a guy

Lose about 10 pounds. 15, 140lbs too skinny. If you eat less, you ll burn muscle and store fat, so eat a lot. 6 meals everyday 2-3 hours apart drink water instead of soda/beer/juices.Start lifting weights at your gym and do cardio, 3 days each, then take a day off. Ask a trainer or go to http://bodybuilding.com to get some good exercises. You need to lift to build muscle even if you don t want to become a bodybuilder.Find out how many calories you burn daily and eat 200-500 less than to safely burn fat while preserving muscle. Aim for 1-2 pounds a week, any more and you ll get saggy skin/put it back on.

The bad news...to take it off right and keep it off, it s going to take 3-6 months. You need to loose 1-2 lbs/week, faster than that and you re setting yourself up to gain it all back.Eating salad every day is a good idea. I hope you re eating something else, too! Avoiding fatty snacks will probably do more for your diet than trying to live like a monk on some extreme diet. It s easier to stick to that, too.The bike and stepper for 40 minutes is good, but only do the crunches if you like doing them. They ll do more to strengthen your abs than they will to help you lose any weight. If you re just after weight loss, find some other cardio activity to do for another 20 minutes/day (or just work out on the bike or stepper longer). But working out for more than about an hour a day is probably overkill. If you re dropping 1-2 lbs a week, you re doing fine. If you re losing faster than that, give yourself a treat every now and then...eat something that s off your diet that you enjoy, skip a workout to do something fun, whatever. Just don t stop your program completely!Good luck.

I once lost 30 pounds in one summer while eating a great deal of unhealthy and fattening food but spending almost every day playing several hours of In The Groove, which is an arcade dancing game like Dance Dance Revolution.Your mileage may vary due to metabolism, but I doubt it would take more than two or three months to lose at least 20 pounds if you actually did all the stuff you mentioned (which you probably won t).

My doctor tells me that you can eat as much lean protein (i.e chicken, fish) as you want and salads and fruits and veg, and you will not gain weight at all. And I questioned him saying what if I ate a whole chicken, and he said as long as it was the breast part, u could eat as much of it as u want and you will not gain weight. So I am trying my hardest to stick to a only protein and fruit/vegetable diet. But its really hard cus I love my bread carbs. If you can though, jog or run for 20 minutes because that realy gets your *** in motion. I have lost weight in the past 2 weeks doing this. Its kills at first but u get used to it. I started with 200 sit ups on my ab lounge too, but now im doing 300 after my cardio, but yeah, ur workout sounds good.

You will get temporary benefits from this routine. You should not eat just salad and do onlu cardio and crunches. The results will be slow and temporary. - Consider strength circuit training- Eat sufficient proteins- Lower your carbs- Do HIIT cardio- Drink lots of water. For A LOT more details, visit my blog.

go on the protien diet i done it for 2 weeks lost 12 kilos just have lots of protien no carbohydrates no sugar just protein and salads its one of the best diets i done i was 80 kilo now 70 im 15 years old

For a start...eating just salad wont get you anywhere. You need carbs and fats to be able to function properly.

My diet plus exercise plan? -

I want to know if I m doing well and if I ll lose weight quickly.Breakfast:-Black Coffee-Porridge (no sugar)-Grapefruit-WaterMidDay Snack:-Orange-Sandwich-WaterLunch:-Stewed Apple-Water-Black Coffee-Special K BarDinner:(It can vary from) Different types of egg, pasta, most vegetables.Supper: Grapefruit JuiceSalt free crackers.---ExerciseMonday-Thursday: 45 mins - 1 hour of jogging and playing rugby with my sibling.Friday: Soccer Practice (1 hour)Sat+Sun: Same as Monday - Thursday.Every night I do 6 minutes of sit ups.Is this a good plan?can I improve?~David

Looks great. The only thing I would ditch is the coffee and replace it with green tea or herbal tea - but if coffee is really your thing it probably won t do much harm. Taking one day off from exercise would ensure you have some recovery time and it will be easier to stick to the plan too. Apart from that it looks good and I think you can expect to lose a pound or 2 a week.

I would do the following to improve your plan:Drink 2 cups of green tea a day with caffeine (coffee or chocolate covered espresso beans). Drink water during the day as well. You will suppress your appetite and accelerate fat loss by 40%. Eat a good hearty breakfast (you need it)! Vary your diet or you won t stick to it.Since you are physically active, I would eat half my weight (in grams) of protein per day (eg: 200lbs = 100g protein) and take digestive enzymes with my meals (coffee destroys digestive enzymes). Also, I would not eat carbs for supper (eat veggies and protein instead). Carbs are burned off with physical activity, so it s better to have them during the day (the less starchy the better - try vegetable greens).A walk after dinner is also a good idea.

Well it sounds like you have most of this down!Make sure you re drinking plenty of water (especially when you first wake up, as your body is dehydrated so drink 1-2 glasses immediately). It looks like you re getting enough fruit in your diet, but maybe add some veg also, add some carrot sticks or celery to your lunch. Another thing that is very crucial is to just eat whole grains. Whether it is whole wheat pasta or bread to brown rice. White/refined bread/pasta/rice has nothing in it! Really is so bad for you because while you digest it, just turns into sugar (which equals to fat, especially around the belly area). Making that small change to whole wheat is very important. Especially check in any process foods, cereals/bars, etc for refined carbs-really special K bars are okay for you, but they have refined carbs in them. Plus loaded with lots of sugar! instead eat some vegetables with hummus or make your own energy bars (contact me if you want some recipes!)It sounds like you have your exercise down, except start weight lifting more. With any type of muscle group (including abs!) only work them 1-2 times a week. Therefore weight training 2-3 times a week. As your muscles need time to grow/recover (the most you should work an area is every other day, leaving one day to recover). Get some bells and work with those, from doing arm workouts to lunges. Also running is great, but leaving one day a week to rest is better for your body.

Any suggestions about my obsession with weight loss? -

I am currently about 100 lbs overweight and constantly obsess about my body. I hate for my husband to see other women on tv, magazienes, etc...that are sexy. I think how can I be sexy to him after him looking at those truly sexy women ? I have tried all different types of weight loss programs but can t seem to stick to any of them! Help please!

It is a vicious circle. You feel bad about yourself, inadequate about your appeal with regards to your husband, so you eat to feel better. You feel bad about eating, look at the women on tv, wonder why you don t look like that, and eat some more. You then gain more weight, and it all begins again.Just for your information, the women on tv that you say are so sexy, they represent a very small portion of society as a whole. The average woman wears a size 14. These women on tv also deal with anorexia, bulimia, and drug abuse in some cases. I don t think you should worry too much about how you look, you are obviously the one he loves, or he wouldn t have married you in the first place. Just try and relax about it, don t obsess about it and try and eat a little more healthily. Do not diet, it will set you up for failure and make you feel worse about yourself.Be kind to yourself.....

You re very welcome! Report Abuse

I used to feel the way you re feeling. I can t even begin to tell you how many times I attempted to lose weight and failed...over and over again. I finally did it though. I lost 105 lbs in just over four years. I deliberately lost only 1-2 lbs a week. And I haven t regained one pound in almost four years. The key though is I did it for myself. You said like you just want to look sexy for your husband. You ll never be successful if you approach your weight loss from that angle. If you do it solely for your husband, what if your marriage ends? There goes your motivation. Do it for YOU and you only. Sure, every woman wants to feel sexy to her husband, that s natural. But, in the core of YOU, not dependant on what your husband thinks, or what your whatever thinks, the core of you has to want to do this just for you. When you get that straight in your head, almost any (logical) weight loss plan will work because you will be ready for it to work. I used Weight Watchers, but there are alot of other great plans out there too. You know, I read a quote by Cindy Crawford in a magazine years ago that really opened my eyes to this whole beauty thing. She said, ...when I wake up in the morning, even I don t look like Cindy Crawford!! Think about that. You can do this. Believe me, if I could do this, Miss Weight Loss Failure Over and Over Again, ANYONE can! I really mean that. There are wonderful books on the market about the mental aspects of weight loss. Read some of them. Once you get your weight loss head on straight, there will be no stopping you. I wish you every success.

Many of us use food to hurt ouselves. It feeds our low self esteem. My advice is to throw out your scale, and just be good to your body. Your weight will find it s own balance and you ll feel better about yourself.

try to start to eat healthy, like cut down on the sweets and excersise. the endorphins will help u feel happyer and they will slim u down. if u r over obsesing talk to some1 u trust or see a therapist. get some1 close to u to give u a compliment everyday on how u look. think of the posotive things in life and how u look. wear cloths that make u feel better. every little bit helps. and next time ur reading those mags. and ur watchign shows on MTV and VH1 that have those skinny little rich girls, remember-thats not real. its better to have curves [there prettyer then bones...trust me]

becaue mayb ur husband enjoys ur curves taht not strange alot guys find havin curves alot sxyeir... curves is the true sxy as being stick thin or even quite thin isn t relli sxy as thats nor femine ahfl thouse ***/abbs could b guys.... and i doupt ur man is gay.. but all guys liek difrent things.... althou alot guys eshealiy younger 1s r brainwashed by the media in 2 havin a very small idea of what is sexy but this is not da case (and incase u wonderin im 16 :p)

I am with you, I obsess about my body, even though 70% of me is happy with it. My boyfriend is happy with it as well. I only want to be able to buy clothes at a normal store and not Lane Bryant for the rest of my life. I m in a size 18 now, and seriously wish I could find the answer. I have thought about the lap band surgery- would this be an option for you?

I go the the gym at least 3-4 times a week and loose about 1-4 pounds in about a 2-3 weeks. And not eat as much as i used to. If you don t have a gym pass you could just walk around the neighborhood for a while.

What do you like/dont like about weight loss programs? -

nutrisystem, jenny craig, weight watchers...etc...what improvements will you make?help! school paper

I don t like the fact Weight Watchers is done on points so it s possible to stick to it but still be really unhealthy, for example by using your points on chocolate.I also don t like any which encourage you to cut down on carbohydrates cos this is so bad or your body and causes irreversable damage to your arteries not to mention the fact it means you get hungry much more easily.Oh and I HATE the idea behind the special K diet. Of course if you have cereal for 2 meals you ll lose weight but special K is loaded with sugar and has like no nutritional value. Also you d lose more by having something like salad or soup plus would get so many more nutrients and wouldn t have to rely on just one meal to meet ALL your daily vitamin and mineral requirements. The best diets are ones which ensure you not only lose weight but stay healthy, with the correct ratio of protein, carbohydrate, and vegetables. Good luck with your paper. X

well depends what kind of diet if its pill never trust the pills its all a bunch of bull if you stay on a diet you have to know that you will keep that diet b/c if you dont then you will gain weight back plus more the best way is the right way plain and simple eat right find something to do that you like to keep you stimulated

Excess weight or obesity is by far the number one health concern in this country. Sixty percent of Americans are either overweight or obese, including over 20 percent of teenagers. All are at risk for serious physical and emotional health problems.More infomation the link: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-PrVWXRM9dLUFol6cuU5ZQT5xhzSoSw--?cq=1

I want to be SKINNY!!!!!!!!!? -

Ok first of all i dont care that its not healthy or whatever so dont bother. I want to be SKINNY!!! I hate my body and everyone is so shallow in this world that i dont think ill ever be happy unless im skinny. Im not just doing it for others, i want to feel better with myself and im willing to do anything. How can i lose ALOT of weight fast?!Im 5 5 and weight 12 stone. How can i lose weight quickly? Please no mean comments i already feel **** enough about myself.

I m on your side. I mean, I think that it s ok if you want to be so goddamn skinny, but I don t agree in the second part (losing all the weight fast). You should lose it slow or moderately slow because if you lose it foo fast, you ll gain it all over again, and your skin will look loose. In the stomach area, this is going to make you look fat, you are going to look skinny but with a belly and you don t want that.Ok then, this is what you need to do: eat 5 small meals a day, try to eat 1300 kcals a day, and avoid white breads, fat and sugar. Be careful with light products, sometimes they have a lot of fat (less than the normal one, that s why it s called light) or calories. Drink so much water before the meals so you feel full and don t eat too much. Try to run, jog or bike for one hour a day. You ll see a great difference in a month :D

OK. First of all, one quick tip. Your best bet is to lose weight slowly - not quickly. If you try to lose all the weight as quickly as possible you ll only end up putting it back on - most likely some extra as well. Plus you ll have a major muffin top because you ve lost weight quicker than your skin can adapt. Trust me, I ve seen it and it doesn t look good. A friend of mine did it by following a very restricted calorie diet. He lost loads of weight but had a major overhanging gut and he put it all straight back on.Aim to lose no more than 1-2lbs a week. So let s work this out. You re 5 5 and 170lbs (approx). So let s say you should lose 40lbs - that ll get you to a nice healthy weight with no excess on you. You don t need to be superskinny - trust me, it does not look good. The best way to do it is with a combination of diet and exercise. Aim for about 1500 calories a day and get plenty of exercise. Try swimming, jogging, skating, cycling... anything that gets your heart rate up, and do these 3-4 times a week for about 30-45 minutes.Good luck, hope it goes well.

Get it straight first, nobody can belittle you without your consent. Secondly, if you feel that people would stop teasing you if you get skinny you are wrong once again.ROUND is also a shape!! So just don t bother about others and be what you are.Lastly if you really want to lose weight then have as much as water as you can early in the morning after you wake up, eat breakfast after a gap of 45 minutes, have some light lunch, and some fruits for your dinner. Walking will help you to burn those extra calories.

Try Barfing in the toileti hear alot of fattie Fupas do that

then stop shoving all the junk down your throat that s making you that way.not to be mean, just tough logical love :)

ive lost 2st in 12 weeks taking sida cordifilia (chocolate banana tablets) i get them from my sunbed shop or ebay 12,50 for 60 tablets, taks 2 per day,its high caffine content and take away ur appoetite, now ive lost the weight im just eating healthy tp keep it off. simple as that

god someone has no self confidence, just cut back on saturated fats, eat healthy things. e.g. white meats, more vegetables. do more exercise, and what exactly is your motivation? to fit into this shallow world we live in? what friends do you have? soo what if your a little large.but hey eat more healthy meals in moderation, get some meal planners, do exercise, and there are no quick ways to anything.

Has anyone actually used the ACAI berry diet? -

I was interested in using the acai berry diet, in part because i am trying to lose weight quickly for the army, i need to lose 17 pounds to enlist, and although i have adjusted my diet, and am exercising (gotta be able to do PT lol) the weight isn t coming off. I am losing clothing sizes, but no weight. I HAVE to make the scale move! It s not an option. Has anyone actually used any of the products they tout online? Any success stories? I need some help!

Lol what a coincidence an ad bot posts something about acai berry. Anyways no I ve never done it. I think dieting is just a bad idea in general. To lose weight you have combine healthy eating with lots of cardio. Good luck with enlisting
