first of all, good for you for wanting to do this the healthy way. I think a good mantra is : eat when you are hungry. Stop when you are full. follow this w/ healthy foods but don t deny yourself a treat at the end of the day for all your hard work. Also, try to fit some exercise in 3 days a week. Do something you love. Working out w/ a friend, like running, is a great way to tighten a bond. Solo workouts are great for working on inner feelings, too, though.
i think its hard for us teen to get health when we love dirnking fizzy drinks and eating good food ( bad for you)), Best way is not to smoke or anything as in the long rn it will harm you badlya s you know. But just to let your self off some of your food (( i do 150 sit ups every night im in really good shape)) so maybe so 10-20 situps a night after 3 weeks you will see a diffrence , Burn yourenergy before you go to bed at nights as well.

DONT do what DanL is doing with the sit-ups!you cant do 150 situps a night.your ab muscles are sensative and need time to heal.100 situps every two nights is fine. you could get injured if you dont leave them enough time to heal properly before you work them again.biking is a great way to lose weight and gain muscle. and its also fun and easy.walking is always a good thing! you can get so into just walking around anywhere and you dont realize youre actually burning calories slowly.

I m glad that you ve decided to turn things around. :]My first tip is to exercise. Don t over-do it, though. I definitely think the best way is to walk about an hour a day. You can burn up to 400 calories that way, depending on the speed. It will also help to do crunches and pushups to add even more tone, and more muscle. More muscle will burn more calories. :DMy second tip is to eat well. People normally eat around 1200 calories a day when they want to lose weight. It s bad to eat less than that, because you re risking sending your body into starvation mode , which is when the body stores the calories that you do intake as fat, which is exactly the opposite of what you want. When you know how to make good food choices, it s not as hard to keep your intake like that as it sounds. Try to eat fruit instead of sweets, and veggies with fat free dip instead of salty, greasy foods like chips. Even pretzels would be better than chips. Another thing to do to keep your intake at a good level is to eat 300 calories per meal, and save 300 for snacks. That gives you 3 meals and 2 or 3 snacks a day. :]There are also small things you can do. -Drinking 6 cups of green tea a day is said to burn around an extra 50 calories, and even if that is just a myth, green tea has antioxidants, which are good for your body. -Another one is drinking a lot of water which is said to boost the metabolism by a certain percent. It s even better to drink it ice cold, because the body will have to work to warm you back up, which will burn a few more calories.-Grapefruits are also said to carry certain acids that can boost your metabolism, but don t eat too much. In a recent study, scientists have found out that eating grapefruit can increase the risk of breast cancer. (It s probably not too much to worry about it, but I thought I should warn you.)-Spicy foods are also said to help speed up the metabolism temporarily. Try adding salsa to foods that it tastes good with. You could even eat it by itself. XDThat s only part of what you can do to lose weight. Try looking up healthy weight loss on Google to help you out. :]In the end, you ll really be happier working hard and keeping yourself healthy. You ll feel better, and once you reach your goal weight, you ll probably be more likely to stay there. Plus, you ll feel more proud of yourself for working for it. :]
