I have done multi-day fasting several times for cleansing purposes so this is not the blah blah blah.It really depends if you want to lose 15 pounds of fat that might actually stay off, or 15 pounds of mostly water that can come back fairly quickly. Some people actually want to lose water for various reasons but it does come back really easily unless you are unnaturally retaining water to begin with.To lose 15 pounds of fat you without losing too much muscle you want to keep your protein and calorie intake just high enough while cutting or working off a total of 52,500 calories. Depending how heavy you are to begin with and how much water you are retaining you probably need to lose more like 20-25 pounds on the scale in order to lose 15 pounds of fat, because some water will almost always be lost due to dieting and will come back when you start eating normally. But water weight will come off more quickly on a heavy person so it kind of balances out.Anyway I suggest juice fasting for 2 days to jump-start your diet and get rid of 5-10 pounds of water really quick. Basically drink only fruit and vegetable juices for a couple of days. Avoid added sugar and salt unless you are exercising a lot or feel like you must have it, then add a little salt or juice/eat some celery. This fast will help reset your body chemistry to get rid of bizarre food cravings as well as flushing excess water. Then you need to switch to a more normal diet. Weigh yourself at this point because you really have lost only water (1 lb fat at most) and you should start counting your 15 pounds from this point. Recently I lost about 10 pounds in 3 days just by cutting out starches from my diet, but to be fair I was retaining a LOT of water for various reasons, and the loss was basically all water (based on how much I was peeing). After your temporary fast you should switch to eating only fruits, vegetables, and meats/fish/eggs. Avoid starchy vegetables like potatoes, corn flour (fresh sweet corn isn t quite so bad), beans, grains, and winter squashes. Watch out for dairy, the easiest way to blow your calorie count out of the water is with cheese, ice cream, grains. Lowfat dairy is ok. Replace your starches with vegetables and fruits. It s ok to use some oils in cooking, you don t need to steam everything. One exception to grains is oat bran cereal which contains so much soluble fiber and only about 75-100 calories per serving that this makes a good cheat if you are craving starches. I think it tastes really good with a little salt and milk. Plus the soluble fiber helps normalize your digestion and is really good for you.Keep an eye on your calories and try to eat about 1/3 of calories each from fat, protein, and carbs. Don t eat less than about 1000 calories per day unless you really don t feel hungry.Assuming you burn about 1500 calories per day you will lose 15 pounds of fat after about 5 weeks (35 days). Again, this will be more like 20-25 pounds on the scale and you have to expect some of it to come back so don t be depressed when it does, you have planned for it.
I tried that one time....all it did was make me feel very hungry and crave too much food, too often. I tried drinking lemon water with my foods, and that seemed to help out a bit.
i d say it ll take you about 9 days to lose 10-15 pounds. you ll lose 10 pounds in 9 days for sure.
YEA i lost 50 lbs in 4 days and i only lost it in my butt and by boobs i now weigh 87lbs and and hoping to go on the diet again for 4 days to get the same results!
you can get a body wrap that will suck all the water weight out of you for awhile...it wont make you lose weight but inches... also drink a lot of green tea, its really filling and a good antioxident..use splenda and a little honey to sweeten... cut your calories wayyy down and you ll lose weight no matter if you only drink lemonade or anything else... I would go with green tea, it will flush everything out. Good Luck!
go ahead and die then
