Why is it that I can tell people how to lose weight amp; encourage them but i cant do the same for myself? -

let me start off by saying that i have lost a lot of weight over the past year or so (60 lbs). but now i ve stopped, i want to lose more and know i can, but it s hard for me now. but when it comes to me telling other people how to lose weight, i can write out meal plans, exercise plans, give them encouragement, the whole nine yrds. but i cant do the same for myself. how can i fix that?

First of all, congrats on losing 60 pounds! That s awesome! You know everything, but you don t have enough WILLPOWER!! It s kinda like , do as I say, not as I do. Try to think what you would tell one of your patients that you taught the whole meal plan, exercise plan, etc. if she came to you and told you you she can t stick to it! It really comes down to willpower. Only eat when you re hungry, not bored, sad, happy, or just thirsty for water!! If you re about to cheat, go brush your teeth! That works wonders! You know you can do it, so I wish you good luck and lotsa willpower!! :) -LL

try seeing a nutritionist, sometimes others can see us better than we see ourselves.

get urself into a routine.like 20 sit-ups before work and a jog around the block after work.also eat less fatty foodtry encouraging someone else to exercise with you:ask a friend or neighbor if they want to jog with u . if thats not ur thing but ur lonely jogging try listening to a ipod while jogging. hope i helped!

If you ve already ost 60 pounds, that shows that you already know what to do and how to do it. It is usually very difficult to lose the last bit of weight after such an enormous amount of weight loss. I don t know if you are part of a group, but Weight Watchers really works!!!

if you have already successfully lost 60lbs, CONGRATS because it sounds like you know exactly what to do. unfortunately, it also sounds like you have hit your plateau. you are at the phase in your weight loss when it now becomes more difficult. and it is so easy to become discouraged when you don t see result we begin to lose sight of our goal. :(once you lose so much weight, your body becomes concerned it will do everything it can to slow down the process. ((basically your body is in preservation mode it is lowering your metabolism because your body doesn t want to starve to death. which means your weight loss has slowed down or stopped completely.)) so now you need to change up your regimine in order to trick your body into letting you lose weight again. by eating several small meals a day, your body will no longer think it is starving your metabolism will begin to raise. you should also modify your workout plan ever few weeks. doing the same exercises week after week will lose its effectiveness. by adding variety to your workout you will remain interested your workouts will still be beneficial to your ongoing weight loss. good luck keep up the good work...

its always easier to see things in others than in yourself. you need an objective point of view. and you cant provide it for yourself.find someone who can provide this objective point of view, and will help you stay motivated.
