How to lose weight over 6 weeks? -

I am 15 years old, 5 ft 2, and about 133 pounds.I want to lose weight over the 6 weeks summer holidays.. especially from my stomach and thighs.Is there any way that I can actually lose a considerable amount of weight in such a short space of time, without completely starving myself??

grab a bike and start pedalling do this before you would eat breakfast you want to burn what you have not what you just ate.One thing you don t want to do is limit your food intake your going thought puberty and your body needs energy to make your hips wider and grow taller Etc. Instead eat better food, a good cereal based breakfast but not one covered in a ton of sugar, midday should be snack type food not biscuits per say but food you don t require cutlery to eat like sandwiches, apples, bananas and the like, also cashew nuts have good fats in them. Your proper sit down meal is where you should get your vegetables and meat (not beef but chicken or fish) Variety is key here mix carrots with pea s one day and have broccoli and spinach the next.Avoid eating near to bed time drink some water if you start feeling a little hungry.6 weeks is a good time zone as losing more than 2 lbs a week isn t that good for you bringing you to about 8 stone 7 weigh yourself once at the beginning of each week (Monday only) as soon as you get up. If by next Monday you have not lost any weight reduce your food intake not by skipping entire meals but by making meals smaller, dinner is the best one to target not breakfast as its far too important to skip.Aside from weight your wanting to lose inches however scales only measure force not distance so just like the scales measure once every Monday your waist, which is always the thinnest part between the top of your hips and bottom of your ribcage. (Also remember to write these figures down so your not making any mistakes)Do not panic here weight will drop faster than your inches will because since fat loss occurs throughout the body the bits your looking at won t be the only place you will have lost fat from. With proper eating and drinking habits you can be sure that weight loss is from excess fat unlike starvation diets which leave you dehydrated and cause a decrease in muscle mass which slows your metabolism down and thus becomes counter productive to burning fat.Weights are good exercise just keep the weights low but use fast movements the idea being that you get out of breath sooner than your muscles start aching (stamina rather than strength) its how swimmers train to become stronger without bulking out (since they obviously don t want to increase resistance in the water) plus muscle burns calories all the time even when your not moving (helping you to lose weight)Water and sleep are your two biggest friends lack both and your body won t function normally especially with an exercise routine, my simple rule is to always drink if possible after every time you urinate.Sleep is important as without proper rest you won t have the energy to face the next day especially when your exercising first thing in the morning, wake up tired and you won t feel like doing it. Don t become a social outcast (have fun) but if you have nothing to do at night go to bed an hour early. A warning you might get at some point a feeling where your skin on your stomach gets itchy this means your blood sugar is very low if this happens try introducing some more sugar into your diet choclate is a good source because with a high concentration its very fast to be digested since you don t need to eat high volumes of it. not without putting all back on again once u come off the diet. juice fasting is good for short ter wait loss though.

Hey, I am just like you, I am 14 and I would also like to loose some weight! All I know is that you should eat 5 portions of fruit and verg a day and drink loads of water, oh and exercise lol xx

The easiest thing to do, if you haven t already done so, is eliminate empty calories. This means drinking diet soda instead of regular, use artificial sweeteners in your coffee, etc. Look at labels. If you re hungry, grab that apple before you pig out on cookies. And at your height and weight, you re already at a healthy level.

Exercise and make sure you dont eat too many heavy foods. Try and kick in,out and to the sides. Do 3 sets of 20 for each side. Do noral crunches for your stomach, and for the bottom of your stomach, lie on your back, lift your legs up and down for 20 and do 3 sets ot that.Brown bread is superb for weight loss as well. About 90-100 cals per slice and 1 gram of fat and 1 slice with jam or peanut butter is great and filling for breakfast. And you could have 2 slices for lunch with salad. And bread is filling but does nt weigh much.Eat fruit for snacks. You can reward yourself with a sweet thing once a week.lol
