Your almost at what is a normal weight. So why are you forcing yourself to diet?Is it peer pressure that is making you unhappy with the way you are meant to be?Going to a slimming club is not helping you, they TBH don t really give a toss as long as you pay your dues so they can continue to make money out of people who are just as capable of maintaining a healthy diet by simply watching what foods (eg the sugar laced goods) that they eat. That s all you need to do it stop putting processed and ready made crap down your throat.
Think how long it took you to put the weight on. You need to lose it slowly. Just eat normal meals (find out what that is - you may have a distorted view) and don t eat in between. Get exercise (park at the far end of the supermarket car park, or walk when you don t have heavy stuff to carry). Swimming is good, if available.Try this link for an idea, but do take it slowly!: http://cassandraforsythe.blogspot.com/
Well I think 9, 12 is fine for you height, but thats not up to me or slimming world you need to feel great at this weight. As far as slimming world goes if you truely truely stick to the system you ll loose weight try uping your water level. I ve been trying to loose 8lb for 5 weeks but not really staying on plan so not really lost any weight. Have you done food diaries and been really honest!
How are your food diaries going? Have you had food optimising explained to you properly? Are you eating to satisfy your appetite, or carrying on just cause the food is classed as free food? You could ask your consultant for an SAS log - they are great for finding out what is sabotaging your weight loss - be honest with it as if you fib, you are only fibbing to yourself.another thing you could try is to stick to one of the 7 day planners that are in the slimming world magazine - they are really good and are generally low syn as well. You could try what I call the speed food challenge - fill in a food diary sticking to ordinary fresh foods (not pre packaged ready meals) and try to have 5 speed or super speed foods every day - you will really see the results. With all of that said, if you are not in the right frame of mind to lose weight it will not happen, It might be as wise to leave your weight loss journey until after christmas and new year and re-join then. There is no fee to leave SW, but if you miss weeks you have to pay a back fee for the missed weeks, or rejoin.I hope this helps.
You don t seem over- weight but it is good you like to take care of yourself, just don t let it take over your life.I have used the Vicky Entwistle Weight Off Workout and when i follow it three times a week it does what it says on the tin - i drop a dress size every 6 weeks. I could never have done this just by watching my eating as i sit at a desk for 8 hours a day!You can pick the DVD up from e-bay a lot cheaper than you could a few months back.
you don t need slimming clubs, you need to keep your calorie intake down, lots of exercise and will power,if you really want this you will do it! get in the zone! i too am 5ft3,i weighed over 13 stone,i cut my calorie intake down, used an exercise bike,a stepper and walked,im now 9st4 and a size 8,you have to want it and change your whole way of eating and the way you excercise etc.
Unfortunately I ve never found SW (or WW, or most diets for that matter!) very good at assisting with portion control or emotional hunger which I think are the two main issues people have to deal with when trying to lose weight. Although on SW you can have unlimited amounts of food depending on the red or green day system you are only supposed to eat until you are satisfied and this is where many people fail. As far as I understand you can quit SW whenever you want. If you re not going for a few weeks it is easier to quit and rejoin (there are always special offers in January!). If you ve got all the books they give out then why not try to go it on your own for a few weeks and try to at least maintain your weight over Christmas and then start again in the New Year? Exercising 3-5 days per week for at least 30 minutes is always a good idea anyway even if you aren t trying to lose weight. Good luck!
looking at your stats your hardly a complete lardass. ach dont worry about it its just more pushing cushioning
