Cardio aka running.That is one of the best workouts and you can do it anywhere.Lifting weights will help you gain muscle and make you lose weight.What position are you trying out for?If your a QB lift weights that help your triceps and if your a running back or a linebackers you need upper body strength so i suggest bench press and push ups.
do cardio but i think the best thing for you is to do alot ot weights and not eat carbs...and please dont be thinking about loosing weight think about being healthy bec if you are healthy you start loosing weight naturaly
