You need to experiment, find your own diet. Others don t work, and just taking a pill won t either. I m 14, and was also overweight, but I found my own diet First, what you should do is find your IBM, weight, and average calorie intake you should be getting. Then, look up different pills and supplements that actually work, and see which one you can afford or like more. You should mix about two of the ones that work, creating your own type of supplement that suits your body. Mine was the Acai Berry s MonaVie, and Mega-T with Hoodia and Green tea. Take your supplements as directed and try running a mile every two days, and always try to fit in a couple of sit ups and crunches in between TV and computer time. Eat no more than one hefty meal (preferably lunch, and make it like a salad or a type of sandwich with fruit or a 100 cal snack. cut down on red meats and breads, and stay away from those juices ) and a snack around three. Aim for no more than about 4lbs a week though, or else your really just pushing yourself to the deep end. It s okay to eat a few of your favorite things though, because if you cut them out, they ll be even more hunger craved. trying saying: okay, if I ve been good for a week, I ll have 1 Reese s, or if I don t eat anything bad for a month I could cheat and have a piece of cheesecake. Just don t go overboard, and stick to the routine. Sometimes, you need encouragement, have others you know that are too afraid to try this join you. This worked for me and my friends, it ll work for you, because you re creating your own strategy with this info, and finding out how your body works. Remember to record everything over time, and set a small goal. (ie: 40lbs by June 2009, have 16lbs by mid-January) Good luck!
first thing. If you drink pop STOP, pop is a huge contributor to most people s wieght gain. - No pop- do NOT starve yourself.- Eat 3 times a day only ( Eat A LOT of fruit and vegetables )- Avoid the small snacks throughout the day- Sleep atleast 8 hours, but no more than 10- Jogg or fast walking twice a day.- when watching tv, do sit-ups or crunches every commercial.- Drink lots of water- Do not check the scale 10 times a day. People who do this often get frustrated and give up altogether because thier not lossing 50 lbs a day. Weigh yourself every two weeks atleast. What your attempting to do is very much in reach, trust me. i know from personal experience that it CAN be done.
Sorry, slow and steady is always the best way if you want it to stay off once you ve lost it. A really good site on the internet with special groups for different ages, likes/dislikes, etc is at sparkpeople.com. Everything is free. You register, set up your diet plan (with suggestions from the site and community), your exercise plan, etc. They give all kinds of support and have contests for points which can be very motivating for some people. All losses are gains, remember that. I wish you all the best and feel free to contact me for support if you need to. Life is a challenge for each of us in different ways but always an exciting adventure if we let it be.
