No diets are safe. Diets starve the body of nutrients and initially you ll lose a few pounds but eventually gain it back. What she should do is drink water in between meals. When she is hungry she should eat small meals every few hours--ie. cheese and crackers or a Nutrigrain bar and fruit.Smaller meals every few hours helps regulate the metabolism and speed it up.Walking or going out biking, etc helps too.No diets or starving yourself. It s no good.So the idea is to keep eating, but substitute junk food and high-fat foods for fruits, veggies and balanced diet.Everything in moderation though.
