you should only loose 2lbs per week of weight, any more and you will be burning bone and muscle which is not good. Don t go by the scales either, measure yourself with a tape measure because I went weeks looking like I d not lost a single pound on the scale but when I was mesuring myself I had actually lost inches off of my body - this is because muscle weighs more than fat!Drink lots of waterEat a good healthy balanced diet with at least five portions of fruit and veg a day. Exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, and this can be anything from walking to work instead of getting the bus, cycling in your lunch break or skipping when watching your favourite programme in the evening. If you loose weight slowly through a sustainable healthy eating plan you will find the weight stays off better, please, please don t be tempted to do the atkins, scarsdale or some other faddy diet that promises you to loose weight fast becuase you might loose the weight but when you go back to eating normally again you will gain it back on and more. At the moment I m doing a water fast, on average a person loses a pound a day doing a water fast, depends whether you want to eat or not from a couple of days to longer and even after that you have to eat small portions of high quality food until you can eat solid foods again.
