Healthy diet and exercise.
Cut out all carbs for a few weeks. No bread, potatoes, corn, rice, cereal, pasta, fruit, tomatoes, beans (except green beans) and peas. Lots of meat and green vegs. Drink 8 glasses of water a day
Cut soda out of your diet and drink milk and lots of water instead.Instead of any junk food that you might eat -- replace them with healthy snacks like yogurt and fruits and vegetables like carrot sticks.Try to eat a little less at each meal and stop eating just a little bit before you feel full. It takes your brain a few minutes to realize you are full, so we tend to keep eating more because we don t know that we would have actually been full if we would have stopped eating. While cutting down on the junk foods and the amount of food you eat, exercise as often as possible. The best way would probably be about 20 minutes at a time. Don t over do it though or else your body will just get used to the exercise and it will stop trying to lose weight.
I lost weight eating tuna and chicken noodle soup. I count calories as if they were money (frugally and limited) and read books while on the tread mill, so I wouldn t get board. I drank water and when I had to have something else, unsweetened ice tea. I also kept a notebook with what I ate, the calorie content and how much I burned, so I wouldn t cheat.
Hi, I know what you re going through. I gave up all breads and sweets. Nothing white. I do aerobics 3 times a week and I have lost 19 pounds since Dec 1st. Not A LOT OF WEIGHT BUT IT S COMING OFF! GOOD LUCK.

Do not eat. That is the easiest way. Well, not alltogether. I have a balance bar in the morning, a regular lunch (not fatty), and a balance bar for dinner. I ve lost a lot of weight and have kept it off.
1. Take it one step at a timeStart by paying attention to what you eat. Cut back on fat and sweets and add more fruit and vegetables. After you have that under control, add exercise. If you hate to exercise try it for only 15 minutes a day at first, then a 1/2-hour. Keep in mind that while you are exercising you are burning calories and not eating. Also, it will be easier if you chose an activity that you enjoy.2. Find a friendIt is always good to have support when you are trying to lose weight. Find a friend who wants to lose weight and compare notes, weigh-in together and maybe even have a contest.3. Use weightsWorking out weights will build muscle and raise your metabolism so you will burn more calories. Also, muscle takes up less space than fat so you will be smaller ( but probably weigh more).4. Eat fewer carbsDon t eat as much bread and pasta and you will see a difference.5. Set a goalSet a deadline to lose the weight and write it down. For example, By Dec 14/04 I will weigh 150 lbs or less . Put it somewhere you will see it daily.6. Give up sodaIf you drink a soda or 2 a day you are adding empty calories. If you find it hard to stop completely, cut back at first and drink water instead.7. Grill or boilAvoid fried meat, grill and use lots of spices. You will get used to it and probably enjoy it more.8. Don t buy junk foodWhen you go shopping, don t go on an empty stomach and you will be less likely to buy junk food. Keep your home junk food free so you won t be tempted to indulge.9. Eat breakfastConsume most of your calories early in the day and always eat breakfast. Don t eat after 8pm and not only will you avoid those added calories but you will sleep better.10. Give yourself a treatWhen you tell yourself that you can t have something you want it more. Give yourself a treat once a day ( ie. half a cookie) and you won t feel you are missing out.11. Use smaller platesTrick yourself into believing that you are eating more by using a smaller plate.12. Drink lots of waterDrink water when you are feeling hungry and you will get that full feeling.13. Don t eat everything on your plateMany times we eat just because it s there. Pay attention to when you have had enough.14. Eat five or six meals a dayEating more frequently will keep you from getting too hungry.15. Plan your workout sessionsWrite your workout sessions in your journal or planner.16. Stay away from fad dietsFad diets don t work. If you lose weight fast chances are that you will gain it back ( and more) just as fast. It takes time to put it on and time to take it off.17. Do several workouts a dayWhile you are watching TV do crunches and leg lifts.18. Measure your foodIf you decide to have junk food for a snack - be sure to measure and control what you eat.19. Keep pre-cut vegetables...and ward off those cravings.20. Create Good HabitsIt is a known fact that when we do something twenty-one times it becomes a habit. Create good eating habits.

I did it. One hour or more of intensive aerobic exercise 4-6 days a week. Cycling, swimming, jogging, dance aerobics all qualify. To attain the best result work to enhance cardiovascular efficiency. Monitoring heart rate and working on breathing control to expand lungs is useful. Stationary bikes have heart monitors. Simple rules:You must break a sweat.Always stretch before and after exercise.Include a brief warm up work out before and cool down work out after.Drink at least 3 qts of water per day. I was consuming about a Gal P/D.I lost 30 lbs. in six months. From 172 lbs to 142 lbs.Losing weight too fast is not a good idea. If you do it this way you are more likely to maintain your weight loss for a longer period of time. This also works even if you don t change your diet for most people. Eating healthy and getting a physical check up before commiting to this program is also a good idea.
There really is no practical way to lose weight fast. You ll just gain in back, and then some. People who cut calories drastically actually slow their metabolism, which is the opposite of what you really want. The best suggestion is to eat healthy foods, low in fat and sugar (read the nutrition labels, the amount of sugar, also known as high fructose corn syrup, is scary). I would also suggest an excercise program if you re not on one, mixing weights and cardio work. Yoga is also very beneficial as it lengthens your muscles and tones. If you are on an excercise program, and are not running. Start. Running is the best way to trim down. It increases your metabolism, burns tons of calories, and is fun. What s better is if you can run in dirt or trails rather than roads - your knees and joints will thank you! Just make sure you have a pair of runners less than 6 months old!
