Weight Loss tips or help? -

does anyone have really good tips or anything that will help get rid of thoses last stubborn pounds or lose weight fast like two months

Anorexia

It is feasible to lose weight rapidly but you should be realistic and understand that if you lose weight quickly then you will probably put it all back on again just as quickly. The only method which definitely worked for me is green tea, it can be viewed in the resource box underneath, they have a handful of free trials remaining, it was highlighted in Fox News and CNN. I worked off thrity pounds, it definitely does produce results!

Nowadays, people are very concerned about body image, and, as a result there are many diet pills available and most of these are hazardous to your health. Why harm yourself if there are natural alternatives.I started a month long diet and I have found that I have lost 4 pounds in only one week by Life Style 30 Days which has given me tonnes more energy than I had before and also, the vitamins my body needs to stay healthy. However, there is also a much shorter diet called Life Style 9 Days. And with the right attitude, this program can help you lose weight much faster.you can find the programs on the following website: http://bellabody.myflpbiz.com

How accurate are the calorie counters on treadmills? -

Well, I have always believed what my treadmill said, but I saw on a website that using a treadmill at the speed I do burns only about have of what the treadmill says it does (Of course the website was trying to show how much better their product was than other exercise equipment). Who should I believe? Also, I am trying to lose weight, so any other weight loss tips you have would be great.

i actually just read an article about this and they are not very accurate at all. it depends on room temp and humidity, your resting heart rate, and working out heart rate, and well as your level of fitness, and multiple other things. my best weight loss tip is to eat 6 times a day. 3 SMALL meals and 3 snacks. if you constantly have calories to burn, your body doesnt go into survival mode and store the fat. portion control and healthy choices are key though.

seems like theyd be as acurate as the info you type in

not real accurate, try eating something when your on there,it just messes up all the calculations, should have a food entry too

if u are worried about that! Just go on Jenny Craig, honey!

I would say not very accurate

well your treadmill would have to know your weight... height... and body fat percentage to acurately do this... now wouldnt it...

treadmills are pretty accurate. elliptical machines im not sure about. lol

Who says accurate? Jeeze... they are totally inaccurate!! Completely. It s impossible to be accurate for two reasons. First, the calorie it a totally bogus measurement of energy. Why? Because they take a food sample, and BURN it and measure the energy given off. Last time I heard, we digest our food, not burn it. Therefore, calories are a total joke. Just another method to manipulate us.Second, even if the calorie was a real measurement, if two people were both on treadmills next to each other going at the same speed... one might keep going and going without hardly using much energy at all while the other would a lot of energy and be totally exhausted at the end of the exercise. Why? Two different fitness levels. Two different metabolism levels. Two different bodies. Two totally different people.Cannot possible be accurate at all. It would be better to measure such things in watts than calories.

I m not sure, I ve never heard that. I ve always heard that they are accurate. But, then again, it WAS for an ad. Ads usually lie. Like in those commercials for fast food restaurants, I think they go and buy some fancy restaurant s food, so they can use it for their commercial. That s why it looks really good in the commercials, but when you go to the restaurant to buy it, it looks like crap. lol. just my opinion!Amy

Very accurate.

pretty accurate!

Weight loss tips , ect.? -

I really wanna lose weight . This year im homeschooling so i can pretty much do anything to help me lose weight. I need some tips and exercises pretty much in most common chunkier areas, like arms, thighs, stomach butt, im not too overweight and im really tall , the doctor says im perfect height weight ect. but i really do have a gut and chunky arms and thighs and i know it. I live in a great neighborhood where i could go running or walking early in the morning or even late at night. i dont have any equipment or anything like that. I know that i should take in 2000 cal. per day but you also need to burn off all the calories you have that day in order to lose weight, and thats what i need help with knowing how to burn all the calories. thx in advance

Food:Stay away from white grains like pasta, bread, flour, and rice. When eating grains go for whole wheat, its a lot healthier and has fewer calories. When eating meat, always go for lean or extra lean if available. Also stay away from junk food C of course! But, dont demonize it, because if you are the type who loves their chocolate bars and you completely cut yourself off, youll only want them more. Cut down you junk intake to once a week, and on the day you have that chocolate bar make a mental note to get an extra 15 minutes of exercise that day.Make sure you drink lots of water; it helps your metabolism and hydrates your body (obviously). If you dont drink enough water your body will think its going to be starved, and will go into survival mode C thisll cause your body to retain all the water you do drink and all the fat it can get because its preparing to be starved. Also, drinking green tea every morning increases your daily metabolism by 17%. You can take vitamin b complex to increase your metabolism as well. Try eating 5 small meals a day to keep your metabolism working, and never skip breakfast! Skipping breakfast will slow your metabolism for the day! When you snack only snack on fruits and veggies C theyre nutritious and delicious! And low in calories. My doctor recommended eating a slice of cheese with a piece of fruit as a snack so your also getting protein with your fruit. Try to stop eating after 7 pm, and only drink tea, milk, or water after that. Thisll prevent you from going to bed with food in your stomach that wont be burned while youre sleeping; itll just get turned into fat that you dont want.Exercise:For exercise, make sure you get AT LEAST 30 minutes a day, but Id recommend 60 minutes. Do cardio exercise every day as well as strength exercises like push ups and crunches. Combining the two exercises will help to prevent having saggy skin once youve lost weight. Swimming can be a good strength exercise if you like going to the pool or lake C it tones everything at once and its fun! While youre doing cardio (like jogging or running) make a routine thatll challenge you but not over work you. Try running for 5 minutes then walking for 5. If that gets too easy try running for 6 walking for 4 etc.

Any weight loss tips? -

I m 5,5 109 pounds size:6 and I want to lose a couple of pounds any tips?

don t eat lunch for a while. i haven t been for a while now and i lost half a stone... used to be 8 stone, (50/51kg) now i m 7 and a half stone (48kg). Plus now my appetite is really small so the weight keeps going...eat a really good breakfast and skip lunch, and then just eat a bit for dinner, but not that much. and definitely DO NOT eat just before bed that s really bad for you, cause it goes straight to fat as you don t burn calories when your asleep.

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together. If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, whichwill lead to increase of weight, or muscle growunderneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet withoutexercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. Fordiet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no foodafter 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending onyour initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. Ifyou don t eat wheat then you don t eat all those sticky, fatty goeycakes, you don t eat junk food, and you don t eat biscuits. But yourdiet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have tocalculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising, start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is themost efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight alot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack, disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to targetyour problem areas for men and women. It s not necessarily to become abodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help youto target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

If you loose a couple pounds you will be invisible. Eat a healthy balanced diet and get some exercise, don t smoke or drink. Just be happy with your self and do not worry about what other people say. - I say that assuming you want to loose weight for vain reasons? If it s a health issue then get a doctors advice.

Losing weight fast is very unhealthy, but if you really need to, here are some tips:-Drink LOTS of water-Make sure at least one of your meals during the day is only raw veggies.-Go for a 20 minute walk in the morning and afternoon. -Eat healthy and avoid fats. This can help you lose 5 pounds in a week.

this is either a joke or your anorexic or somethignyou are a really nice size and stuff you dont need to loose weight im guesing your quite young and loosing a stone or two will make you unattractive so keep on all the weight u have since you dont have much it makes you look healthier and feel better

You are underweight.Maybe spend some time gaining some self asteem, there is no reason why you should loose more weight.

dont do it! you may think you ll look better but serious you ll feel like s**t

should i lose weight? i had a guy give me weight loss tips a few weeks ago, and i have wicked low self-esteem so i definitely took this as a hint that i should.

no! That is an awesome weight for your height!

Gee, you are near the low end of the weight range for an average woman of your height. If it s your body appearance that bothers you, simply tone up a bit by getting a little more exercise. I don t think you have to worry about being too heavy..

WHAT if you look big then what that is almost you need to be 125 so 4 pounds that weight is the right weight of a girl like you

Weight loss tips. please read full description. no spammers.? -

i have always been thin in my life, to about when i was 9. i went to visit my grandma for a full summer, and came back really chubby. im 14 now, and still havent been able to lose the weight. i have always taken dance and gymnastics classes, AT LEAST once a week. now im going for three times a week. im not obsessed with fat foods chips, but i have them about once a week. i dont eat fast food. i eat everything, yes, out of the food groups. i am a fruits and veggie type of person, so i ALWAYS have them. i hate cheese, and i barely eat meat. i walk to and from school daily. i know i should drink more water; i will. any other tips ? i need to lose weight mainly around my thighs and butt. videos? my BMI says im at risk of being overweight; duhhh. PLEASE AND THANKSS.

I have started this Diet (lifestyle change) in the middle of November at 140lbs, and now at 117lbsGoogle fruit fastA DIET IS WHAT YOU EAT....there for we are all on a diet....THINK LIFESTYLE CHANGEYou got the change the way you think and feel about foodTRY THIS, and stick to it.The first 3-4 weeks are the hardest until your body adjusts to the change. Results will be in about the same timeFruits and VeggiesEat more plants and keep away from stuff that was made in plants.Don t eat anything that comes in a can, box or package.........THEY HAVE ADDITIVES IN THEM THAT MAKE YOU ADDICTED TO THE FOOD.....If man made it, don t eat itNO white BREAD or SUGARNO PIZZA, I am in the pizza business, and it is not good for you, very high in FAT and CaloriesNO FRIED FOOD...Stay away from FAST FOODNO POP, SODA or FIZZY DRINKSWalk your dog, or walk a friends dogDon t think of it as a diet, but think of it as a lifestyle changeI have lost 28.5 pounds in 3 months, drink lots of water. I usually eat a meal of what ever I want once a week....controlled portion....this really works.........Write down every thing you eattake a multivitamin at night

well control how much sodium you intake. this makes you retain water. to get the 8 glasses of water you need a day have 2 at each meal and 2 at a snack. then walla! you had your 8 glasses you need! cut the chips you have once a week out! then exercse a hour a day. 20 min of walking, 20 min of running, 20 min of biking and you will be in great shape

Run a lot, lots of water...jumping jacks, squats, lunges...

do lunges it helps, step ups, and squat it really tones down the thighs and butt

I had the same thing happen to me when I was your age. I actually danced a minimum of 5 days a week from the age of 11 to 17 and struggled constantly with being chubby (especially lower abdomen, butt, and thighs). Around age 16 my body shifted and I realized that a lot of the extra weight I had was simply from being a girl and being between 12 and 15. When the rest of the goo, as I like to call it, didn t come off (I m now 21) I decided to take an active stance. I have started running every single day since February. It sucked worse than anything in the beginning. I told myself I would run for 20 minutes then do some crunches, leg lifts, and stretches. After now doing this for two months I realize that I look forward to it, even if it is extremely hard to get myself out of the house. I have lost 12lbs and am starting to gain definition in my stomach, thighs, and butt area. I also feel about a million times better every morning when I wake up, and I was never unhealthy to begin with.Running absolutely sucks when you start, for about the first month. My recommendation is to drag a friend along with you. Pretty much use your friend to guilt trip you into going and vise versa. I end up being lazy about once a week, but I have never missed more than 2 days in a week. Try it out until summer time, if you commit you could notice a big difference by then.

I need serious weight loss tips as fast as possible? -

I m fifteen...and school starts on August 10th. I weigh about 145. (I m 5 8 ) and I dont have a problem with my body, but a friend of mine is same age and height, but weighing in at 170. She really needs help, and I ve run out of things. she HATES running. She has no control over what she eats considering her parents pretty much feed her whatever they have, which is rarely healthy. We ve tried power walkign a mile every day, and NOTHING. Shes lost two pounds over the past three weeks....any help?? We have 4 weeks for her to lose 20 pounds. We re too young for pills and stuff like nutrisystem. Any helpful tips will work. Thanks alot. :]

Small, frequent meals, increase protein and reduce sugar, an hour of exercise 3-4 times a week to start, mix half weight training (no, women have different body structure so weights will only help muscle definition and increase daily calorie burn), and cardio should be 20-30 minutes, preferably intervals of fast/slow instead of one steady speed. Though I m not a certified trainer, I ve played college sports, worked out for nearly 13 years, played college hockey, work at GNC, and twice lost over 30 lbs to get to 8% bodyfat using that method. Use the calculator linked below to get your total calories and break down your meals according to the recommendations, and you will see results in under a month. As for the pills, they should be a last resort, and you need to be careful, because some may not work with your particular body, and you need to hydrate properly and not overuse (more than two months at a time, and more than recommended dose. Hope this helps, and if needed can elaborate further or answer more ? s.

have her keep a food diary, take more walks, just leisurely walks around town will do. but she needs to control what she eats, her portions and high intensity cardio is necessary for 20 pounds in 4 weeks.

Tell her to walk for an hour everyday and reduce her calories by 400 calories and tell her to also reduce her sodium intake.LMMFAO@Rasputia...lol....how you doin?

My trainer Coach A can help you, he does not charge anything for helping. Go check out his blog at http://coachtu.wordpress.com/2009/07/11/ you will not regret it. Write him he will answer you.

Start a workout program. Check out the Fat X workout videos.

She s going to have to do things she doesn t like.Jogging will help.Try some weightlifting work too.Go to self.comThey have great things.

Girrlll let s go to the BuffetHow you doin ?

hmm, seems like she is old enough to take control over her own diet, if she doesn t want to eat what her parents say she shouldn t have to. Although if that s not an option, i guess some of the simple tricks could do the job :)- drink plenty of water, also cranberry juice helps you to go to the toilet, so she would be getting rid of waste more often which could help with weight loss.-fruit is also a natural laxative which will increase how often she goes to the toilet.-taking the stairs instead of the elevator, or walking the longer route to a friends house, seems simple enough, which might be why people miss them out, but every little helps!Maybe if your friend has some free time, instead of sitting around she can take a long stroll - helps if you have an ipod to pass the time. She may hate running, but you ve gotta do what you ve gotta do. Running will give her results- fast. just being out of the house more will help, walking around, instead of asking for a lift to somewhere, perhaps walk it? A friend of mine lost 4lbs in 2 weeks just by doing sit ups every night. Little changes such as swapping, vimto for water if your thirsty, or coffee for herbal tea. I ve been told drinking white tea helps weight loss too.The only way to lose weight is a good diet and exercise! And making small changes can have long term effects for the better :)good luck to you and your friend.

Half the battle in weight loss is what you eat and when you eat. I could workout strenuously for 2 hours a day, 7 days a week and would be overweight if I ate whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. What your friend needs to do is burn more calories than consumes, and eat small meals more regularly throughout the day (around 6 per day/ or every 3-4 hours). She should avoid excessive amounts of sugar, sodium, saturated fats, fried foods, and carbs that are not whole wheat. She should eat more lean protein (chicken breast, fish, lean steak), berries, whole wheat carbs (brown rice, wheat bead), good fats (peanut butter, avocados, olive oil), nuts (plain or LIGHTLY salted), lean dairy (cottage cheese, skim milk), and fruits/veggies. Despite these foods being good for you, they need to be portioned out. A couple handfuls of nuts is a good snack, but a whole bag is counterproductive. In terms of exercise, she should workout for at least 45 min - 1 hour a day for 3-5 days a week. The workouts should be strenuous and include both cardio and weight training. Many people think cardio is the only means to fat loss, but the stronger your muscles are the more easily they burn fat and calories.20 lbs in 4 weeks is a bit excessive. I would aim for a max of 10 lbs.
