When is the best time of day to exercise? -

Im on a healthy weight loss diet and im currently waking up in the Morning early eating my breakfast give it and hour to digest and then i do either a work out dvd or go on the cross trainer in the mornings. What i wanted to know is, is that the best time of day to do it? or should you do it at night instead or in the evenings? obviously i cant do it in the middle of the day, and i was wondering can you do exercise before your breakfast because i have to wait around for an hour for my food to digest before i exercise and i thought if i have my breakfast after exercise it will save me an hour every morning? What do you think, or do you have any tips or anything?

For cardio: First thing when you wake up. In fact I m going running right after I type this. I could write a long post about Morning Cardio but if you do a Google search you ll see why you burn a lot more fat doing it in the morning. For weight training: In the afternoon or evening. All of the nutrients and energy your body absorbs throughout the day is available to you at this time. Instead of crashing on the couch and watching TV, go to the gym and do some weight training to build lean mass. This increases your metabolism and will help you out in the long run (pun intended).

the morning is the best time. before breakfast though. because you have been sleeping all night and have not been taking in calories and stuff. so when you wake up and go exersize, it gets your blood going...your matabolisn gets a boost so you are burning fat not just food you have just eaten...etc.

They say exercise 4 hours before bedtime is detrimental because people have a harder getting sleep. I think it will depend on you and what works the best for yourself. I always exercise before breakfast. I find it saves time.after an hour after breakfast I still feel bloated so for me after breakfast doesn;t work

well personally i like to go in the morning cuz if i save it for later in the day, it usually never gets done. and plus, i wouldn t do it at night cuz exercising boosts your metabolism so you are burning calories faster throughout the day if you exercise in the morning. good luck=)

Morning is always good because you get it out of the way and if you are hungry you can eat well before the evening. If you train late at night and you are really hungry at the end of your session you have got a problem.

Joe is correct.

well jogging surely be good and under the morning sun
