Could you compare and contrast methods of healthy weight loss and healthy weight gain.

Healthy weight loss: Decreasing caloric intake while increasing expenditure. Basically, eat fewer calories (not too few, though.) while exercising at a moderate intensity 30 minutes a day, 3 to 7 days per week. Shoot for 1 pound of fat weight loss per week.Unhealthy weight loss: More than 3 pounds per week. This could involve anorexia, bulimia, or just very low calorie intake with very high exercise.Weight Gain: Really depends what you re doing. Eating a ton of calories and not exercising results in weight gain, but it s not healthy. Why not increase caloric intake while increasing heavy resistance exercise like weight lifting? Do research on your Body Mass Index (BMI) and compare that to the norm for your age.
