Weight loss? -

i was looking to loose some weight by the end or the middle of july. i am 5ft 2.5 inches and weigh 140lbs, which is overweight. i was hoping to find some weight loss tips? thanks. and if anyone has any personal experience in their weight loss achievements that would be great if you could tell me about like how and what you did. thanks so much.

No expert here but you dont sound like you are very overweight. OK, lets assume you want to lose 10 lbs. Get yourself a copy of the book The Southbeach Diet . If you follow phase one and phase two you should lose 10 lbs easily in 2 weeks . The diet is healthy and not too hard to follow. But dont look to lose more than that. Our society is fixated on skinny women and that is not healthy. Just lose 10 lbs. and enjoy looking in the mirror. IMHO

1. dont bank on the words fast , easy , simple quick ....to stay safe,you shoudnt lose beyond 4 pounds of fat per week2. start brisk walking 40-60mins a day...get a dog or 2 if you find your walking routine boring..or if you are at a gym,experiment all forms of cardio available and stick to all that you like3. drink only water,100% natural/fresh fruit/veggie juices,lowfat milk and lots of green tea4. severely limit carbs n fat but eat lean proteins and veggies very well..make sure you eat a good breakfast!foods generally that aid fat loss- fruits,oatmeal,milk,raw nuts,fish,beans,veggies, small chunks of dark chocolate and herbal teas.5. do lots of pilates/yoga/strength training to get the best from your cardio6. be smart when eating out or at events/functions(such as preparing your own meal eating in advance)7. dont trust myths like no food after 7pm ...you have to stay nourished to lose fat,..the best you can do if you are scared to eat is perhaps drink a glass of ice chocolate lowfat milk mixed with a tsp of instant softened oatmeal... 8. Always push yourself n never give up!but get enough rest too...Stay focused on your goal and God bless you...

Well not much tips, just work hard and FOCUS, i ve tried countless times but it dont work but my mom has lost a bunch of weight but thats cuz she was determined. Just realize theres no quick fix, just give it your all, avoid sitting at home doing nothing just go outside and play something with friends or ride a bike or whatever...you ll get a sweet tan too.

I really suggest doing Weight watchers. It s easy and you will see results after 1 week! It isnt very strict either.. they have years of experience and I m doing it. I would recomend checking out a meeting ot anyone. go to www.weightwatchers.com to check out where you can get in on a meeting in your area. I love it!!
