Tips and tricks? -

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone has some weight loss tips/tricks they want to share. Like not eating a food with a certain ingredient in it, or something like that! Just looking to get an idea, thank you!

Here are some tips:1. Eat breakfast within an hour of waking up every day -- people who don t are 450% more likely to be overweight.2. Eat six small meals or snacks per day instead of three squares or one big meal per day. Eating smaller portions more often keeps your metabolism running high.3. Ideally, you should only drink water, skim milk, and coffee or tea. Soft drinks are LOADED with high fructose corn syrup, which causes weight gain, and many fruit juices have HFCS in them too. 100% juice is OK, but it s really better to eat your fruits and vegetables as opposed to drinking them.4. Avoid trans fat (partially or fully hydrogenated oils), white sugar, white flour, white potatoes, and white rice as much as possible. Also, try to keep saturated fat to a minimum.5. Fiber is your friend. Try to get at least 25g of fiber into your diet every day. Best sources are: apples, beans/legumes, dried fruit, nuts, and whole grains (breads, cereals, pasta -- Barilla Plus pasta is a winner)6. Not all fat is bad for you. Mono-and-polyunsaturated fats are your friends. They aid in weight loss, they help your body metabolize vitamins like Vitamin E, and they help keep your cholesterol levels where they need to be. Best sources are: avocadoes, eggs, fish, fish oil, flax seed, flax seed oil, nuts (any kind) and olive oil.7. Eating more protein will help your weight loss efforts. Whatever your weight is, aim for that many grams of protein per day. WARNING: Eating more protein makes your kidneys work harder, but there s an easy fix for that: Just drink more water.8. Don t cut carbs. Your body needs them. Try to eat the ones that are best for you, like fresh fruits and vegetables and those whole grains. Green veggies are the best veggies, and any fruit that ends in berry is a winner.9. Give yourself one cheat meal every week where you can eat and drink whatever you want as long as you don t stuff. Professional athletes and bodybuilders do this, and their physiques don t suffer for it. It ll also help you stick to a more regimented eating plan if you don t feel like you have to completely give up everything that you love.Good luck!

No trick to losing weight. Burn more calories than you take in. That means watch how much you eat and get some exercise no matter what it is.

um, don t eat foods with preservatives, artificial colour flavouring, and with white flour.

to keep me motivated, i try to listen to music that you really enjoy. also, try taking a class, rather than working out on your own. it will help having someone tell you what to do, and working with others.when i m doing cardio, i like to read a magazine (preferably a fitness mag) and listen to my iPod. it helps to distract me and i can go for much longer.good luck!

My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product which I think helps a lot in the process. I recommend you check this website http://www.greatiguide.info , they have a free trial and you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling. Good luck!
