Honestly, even though you may not want to hear this, sit ups are really the best things to tone your stomach. They get easier as you build more muscle, so start slow and work your way up. Also, the more muscle you have around your stomach, the more fat you ll burn by just sitting down. So just do sit ups regularly, and your body will help you out a little.

I have had this same problem in the past and the thing that worked the best for me after talking to my athletic trainer was that to lose the extra belly bulge you must cut out soda, and as for sit ups, they tone and build muscle in your belly, which does help to tone and burn more calories, but it does not take away the fat= this means you must do it!! The answer ...cardio, run walk 20 min for 6 times a week...this will help to burn the fat so that you can see those wonderful musclular abs underneath the buldge!!! Hope this helps!!
