Yes but be careful if you re exercersing because that high protein will contribute to the increase of your muscle mass and will make you weight more, but that s a good thing.

Yes, it is...but I would not cut out carbs completely, and start eating more complex carbs which are healthier. Like in egg whites! Which are LOW LOW calories, and if you go buy a cartoon of egg whites and scramble them, they tastes the same as regular whole eggs. Also, exercise is just the biggest part in weight loss! Try eating 5-6 small meals a day and walk/jog three miles. This will start getting you in shape and you will drop pounds quickly! Just stick to it! And stay away from red meats. Which are really fatty! Stick to poultry and fish! And a fruit smoothie (Made with REAL fruit and low fat plain yogurt) with protein powder is really good for breakfast and digestion!
