How can i lose weight fast? -

i need to lose a lot of weight in the next 4 weeksany suggestions for diets or workouts?im currently 175 pounds, 5 7.5 and 15 years old

At your current weight, you have a BMI of 27.4, which if you were a adult would mean that you are moderately overweight. However, since you are still a teenager, this is even more problematic. The ideal weight for someone your age is 136 pounds but can range from any where from 121 to 160 pounds. So you only have to lose 15 pounds to be back in the normal range. Losing weight is hard, but it can be done. Just a year ago, I weighed 172 pounds and am now down to 138. There is no short cut to losing weight. You need to eat a good diet and exercise. Avoid all fad diets, they don t work. I ve tried and failed at a bunch of them. Diet:Low fat or low carb doesn t matter. Choose one or the other if you want, as both work, but they aren t necessary. The only thing that matters is calories in vs. calories out. The most you can safely lose is 1-2 pounds a week. So in four weeks, you could lose 8 pounds, which is halfway to being back in the normal range. Aim for a 500 calorie deficit a day if you want to lose 1 pound a week and 1000 calorie deficit if you want to lose 2 pounds a week. Always eat at least 1200 calories a day no matter what. Try to limit junk food and fast food (but don t eliminate entirely). Try to focus on lifestyle change and eating a diet you ll be able to eat for the rest of your life. Eat 5-9 servings of fruits and veggies. Even if you don t like them, find one s you do. Not only are these foods good for you, they also fill you up fast and don t contain lots of calories. Also eat lots of complex carbs (whole grain foods, bread, pasta, etc...) They have more fiber and fill you up faster than simple carbs (white bread, candy, etc.) Also eat 2-3 servings of lean protein. Yes, you can have red meat, just make sure to choose leaner cuts rather than the more fatty ones.Exercise:Ideally one should exercise 60-90 minutes everyday while trying to lose weight. However, this is impractical for almost everyone. So try to at least exercise for 30 minutes a day three times a week, at a minimum.The type of exercise does not matter. Do whatever type of exercise you enjoy. Consider joining a sport s team at your school, if you want. If you are going to keep up exercise for the rest of your life, it must be something you look forward to, not dread. So walk, run, do athletics, yoga, go to the gym, or outside, whatever. Well first of all, losing weight FAST is the WRONG answer because if you lose it fast you will gain it quicker! I suggest the low carb diet or no carb diet. Cut out breads,pastas, and potatoes. Research it on google. I lost a lot of weight that way and it does come off kindof quick at first, but I would suggest walking and jogging along with it. :) Hope it helps.
