Has anybody tried the Nutrisystem weight loss program? Did you lose weight? -

What are the pro s con s of this program. I am desperate to lose about 60 pounds that will help control my type2 diabetes. When I was younger I could lose weight easy, but now that I am older it is real tough. I am a male. Any suggestions????

Yes, I have used the Sugar Buster s Eating Plan http://www.sugarbusters.com/and lost 25 pounds since the end of October. It is a great plan and if you have the motivation (it sounds like you do because of your health) you could eat like this for life!Have you ever noticed in those Nutrisystem commericals that it always has at the bottom of the screen Results not typical ? And that s even if the person only lost 20 pounds!!! All of the diets know they don t work for the majority of people. Some people do lose weight on programs like this, but not most people. As soon as they begin eating regular food again they gain it back.Blessings to you as you endeavor to improve your health!

just yesterday i was thinking about trying the nutrasytem program but i checked on prices and it was 326$ plus 16$ shipping for 1 month. so i did the math figured i had 50 pounds to do and in a perfact world i might lose 8 pounds a moutn so that came up to over 2,000$ dollars! i figured i could make up my own eating plan with those lean cuisene dinners and other healthy choices!

We are losing 3-5 lbs per week on Nutri System..... Some of the food is nasty.. but not everything... Some of it is really pretty good!... We just choose different things on the next order... I check out the nutrisystem recipe page and get ideas... You need to add fruits and vegetables...It s not hard.. and you get used to eating smaller portions... We are sticking to it until we lose 40 - 50 lbs... We expect it to take about 6 months... Just in time for vacation! and you have to drink 64 oz. of water every day... We have not been hungry since we started... and my husband has been able to handle it as well... he goes by the plan designed for men...Cost is about $10 per day/ per person..You can always talk to one of their reps, personally we don t want to deal with a daily or weekly face to face encounter..but maintaining weight loss still comes down to controlling what you eat and your lifestyle... good luck..

Yeah, I ve been wondering about it too but when I checked the price, it s too high for us below minimum wagers. I ll go with store bought meals.
