How to lose weight (13 year old male)? -

Im 13, im fat and i want to be slimmer. Ive been overweight ever since i was about 8 and even though ive tried i can never get a diet to work (i eat fruit veg .e.t.c.). I cant excersize that well due to the fact that i broke my wrist in November (partially healed) so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Im about 5 6 and i weigh about 12 stone

ok- sorry to cut and paste this, but i just answered this for someone else, too.i added a lot of fiber- nature s own double fiber bread, fiber one chocolate chip granola bars, south beach diet wraps ( these are all the things that actually taste good while being good for you), counted calories, and avoided too many carbs for dinner or later. the weight came off easy once i started this. i lost 50 pounds in about 8 months with no exercise and a lot of mcnuggets! good luck! You need a good diet and exercise. Try running. If you can only go a block, then do it. The next day, go a block and 10 feet, etc. Just stick with it. You didn t gain the weight in one day and you won t lose it in one day. Just have reasonable goals and stick to it. It will work. Good luck.

That s about 144 pounds, right? You are a bit overweight, but not too much. You may look a bit chubby right now, but you are going through puberty. My suggestion is to start doing aerobic exercises (walking, calisthenics, etc.) along with a healthy diet. Try to keep the diet balanced - you need protein. If you start practicing a healthy eating regimen now, it will be better for you when you are older. If you are still having trouble, ask your doctor for some tips for teens.

Well, has a docter told you that you are overweight? If not it could just be your amagination running wild, believe me im a expert in that.Im 14, so I can relate.If a docter has told you that your overweight then you need to start exsersizing. Make sure you have 3 balanced meals a day, NEVER SKIP A MEAL.Skipping breakfast is related to overweight kids.Cut back on the junk food, and the process foods (frozen foods, can foods)However if I docter has NOT told you are overweight, you may want to talk to a docter before you start dieting. It could just be you thinking you are overweight, I have a eating disorder so I know about that stuff. Good luck:D
