How to lose weight? -

i have being dieting since i had my baby 2 years ago.i did crash diets and lost weight and then gain it back after starting eating regulary.i dont know how to motivate myself to exercise more.i work full-time and dont have time to go to the gym.are there any tricks?please help.

well maybe it s you you might have eating habits too may be you may not notices it but you might be watching t v and see some thing you wood like to try and it s just high of calories and then you buy it and say well i just try it just ones and it wood not hurt and it doses! you have to write down what you are feeling for that day and what you eat and at the end of the week and check your weight at the same time you check it and read what you wrote down and you just had a baby it might not even be your body adjusting too and see a doctor you may have depression even if you don t feel like you do your body may feel it not your brain and check your ideal weight like for your age and height and and try soy and fiber vitamin B-12 just change your hole eating habits start fresh for the hole week and keep eating at the some time don t skip meals you body stores fat so if you do don t catch up just have some thing light like a salad and you may be hungry and try to put a lot of dressing and stuff but don t just keep it simple only when you miss meals but you can put stuff on it when you want to eat it and cut out stuff on a magazine like what you want to look like and be real about it and when you exercise give your self some thing like a reward go buy your self some thing like clothes or go look in the mirror and tell your self you love who you are and that you love your family and if you can t do that then it your self-esteem and that you might be eating because it s comfort food so write stuff that bothring you ya and good luck peace out!

Eat smaller portions of food along with your exercise and drinking water.

Join their thing (you don t have to go to the meatings) they will give you a notebook thing that has lots of diet helpers, point calculators, food companion (shows how much certain foods points are) and a dining out companion (same thing but for restraunts) I might be only 18 but I lost 20 pounds on it (and by the way on weightwathcers exercise is optional)

Crash diets wont work, most advertised weight loss plans won t work. They even state Not typical results . Get a gym partner, that way you both push each other to get to the gym. Eat smaller portions more often, about every 2 hours.

I go to school full time, so I feel the same way you do. I have to force myself to go to the gym, and it sucks, but I do it because I told myself I wanted to lose the weight. I have this stupid cycle where I exercise and eat healthfully, and then I just stop exercising, and eat whatever I want! Each stage lasts about two weeks. As you can imagine, I have not lost one single pound! You don t want to be like me, do you!?!? lol Just make time for the gym, you will love yourself for it!

I have been trying to lose the baby weight I gained with my two children (2 and 8 months) and the best thing ive found was just cutting out on sodas and sweets, watching the portion sizes you take on your plate, and using the Billy Blanks workout DVDs. It is going to take proper exercise and eating habits. It will also mean a lot of cardio...walk, use the treadmill, go on the elliptical, use the bicycle, don��t lift weight right now because you will just get heavier. Also check your diet. eat the right foods...eat your starchy and sugary foods early as then you give your body a chance to use that energy instead of eating it at dinner and going to bed maybe three hours later. the yoga ball work out is a great way to get your body into shape. it toned me up. if your talking about a lot of weight I m not really sure. but try to stick to three meals a day and pack them with fruits and veggies. stay away from sugar at all costs and cheese try to avoid it as much as possible. its not bad to eat carbs but try to eat whole wheat bread instead of white. eat meat but cut off the fat. sometimes it seems hard and i am a total health freak you have no idea. so before your about to eat something that you know you shouldn t ask yourself do i really need this or do i just want it?

i ve been on the depo shot for a couple years. and i ve gained so much weight and plus i ve gotten laazzzyyy big time. anyone have some good ways to lose the weight. and i don t eat that much, plus remember i have no energy!and be nice please

just take a walk for like a mile every day and maybe jog a block.every week or so jog another block until u can jog your entire path without stoppingu really can t be lazy to loose weight...its kinda hard(do not use weight loss pills...they never work...)

just when you eat try to eat healthy andyou shoulkd lose a little and get more energy then you can use that energy to work out more.it might seem like you havent lost that much weight ftom exercise but remember youre also extanging body fat for extra muscle so youre losin more than the scale will show.before you know it you will have loads of energy and be healthier than ever.also dont eat three big meals a day its better to eat 5 little ones and eat vitamins.also try to burn more calories than you take in.

Just start with little steps... like adding a walk in after dinner. Maybe invest in a pedometer, sometimes wearing something that reminds you to keep moving will help to keep you motivated. If that sounds boring maybe try a sport, like join a local softball team...your having fun, getting exercise, and hanging out with people. Or set a goal like training for some sort of race or charity run. Maybe start with something like a 5k and then keep on improving. Having a friend that can help you stay motivated can be a big plus. And might bring you together because you conquered something like that. Just don t be closeminded about trying new things and dont get discouraged if you dont see results tomorrow. Well i was SOOO lazy as well till i got a gym member ship and really just knowing you have one gives you the encouragement to go tot he gym. So maybe try getting a gym member ship. Plus they tell you how to eat healthy while still eating. If you stop eating or eat less then of course you will lose weight in the end BUT your body will hold onto what you DO eat because it thinks it will never get food again. See what i m sayin? Well i leanred all this from my first day at the gym, which was 3 weeks agao, but i ve been going consistently. :)

Exercising improves the heart and lungs so you can get involved in activities such as exercising and again this should be done gradually. For example 20mins a day for a work out is fine for a start. Once you have established that routine you can gradually increase the time spent by 15 minutes a day, since regular exercise has some health benefits. Also you can avoid the elevator and take the stairs. Avoid driving in short distances but rather take a walk down to the location. all depends on what you eat. doesn t matter if you eat one thing all day, if they re fries, you will gain weight. ok, first drink lots of water. (well duh!) but don t drown yourself, just replace soda (and yes- coffee!) with water. second, even if you have zero energy, try doing at least 10 push ups, 10 sit ups, and 10 leg lifts each day. you ll keep your muscles nice and firm (stretch!) hope this helps but don t forget it takes time!good luck

Try not to eat past 6 p.m. I know the feeling of not having energy, but once you start exercising you will gain more energy. I know it s hard to get up the motivation, but once you get started it gets easier.

you cant get results from just dieting you must workout, try doing 100 push-ups a day along with at least 100 crunches. But as far as the diet goes eat 5 meals a day but not large meals cut your main meals in half or something like that this tricks your body into speeding up your metabolism because your body thinks that you are consuming more calories which means it will speed up to try to compensate. Well im 17 years old, female. Im 275lbs, and im 5 6. I play hockey once a week during the summer and 3 times a week during the winter and bike ride at least 20 mins a day. I don t eat much, and i don t eat alot of junk. Its the time s I eat. I ll eat nothing all day and then eat alot right before bed. I need help. Does anyone have suggestions? How to I stop eating at night? And whats a good excersise plan?

I think part of the key for you is fixing your eating habit. It s great that you don t eat a lot of junk but just having only one meal is working against you. I used to be like you so I think I can advise a little. the problems with eating only once a day is 1. you are usually so hungry by then that you over eat and 2. what you are telling your body is that there isn t enough food. It forces your body to go into a survival mode so that rather than burning the calories and discarding extra it stores everything. This is absolutely what you don t want! Try to get in at least 3 good meals a day with maybe 2 snacks inbetween. So...breakfast at 7? Snack at 10. Lunch at 12. Snack at 2-3 and dinner at 5-6. No snacking after dinner! It s hard to start with but once you get used to it, it works pretty well. This way your metabolism is always working and your blood sugar doesn t spike as bad. Even keel all the way. I would make sure your cardio (bike riding) is at least 3-5 times a week at 30 mins minimum and throw in some light weight lifting 2-3 times a week for good measure. Try to keep your heart rate when you are working out under 170. To find your heart rate just take your pulse for 10 seconds and then multiply by 6. And last but not least....drink water! A lot of the time when our body tells us we are hungry it actually wants water. 8-10 8oz glasses of water a day seems to be the norm for most people. I ve lost 22 pounds this way so far so it works for me but I think maybe you should speak with a nutritionist too. it helps to have support and someone who can point out where you might have goofed and give you solutions to help fix it. well i would increase my cardio exercises if i were you. Start eating during the day, light snacks if possible. I dont eat anything after 8pm. Schedule a time where you stop eating like i did. Make sure your not just eating and then going straight to bed. Drink plenty of water. Im trying this right now, im also needing to lose weight. Good luck.

You shouldn t stave yourself. Your body needs food for fuel and eating small meals throughout the day help speed up your metabolism. Eat breakfast lunch and dinner with small snacks in between and lots and lots of water. Portion control is key along with EXERCISE....and it sounds like you re on the right track for that. Please remember to eat little meals during the day, not one large one before bed....Anything worth having is worth working for. I m on nutrisystems, day #6 . It s not easy but feeling thin (er) is better than anything can taste.....it s ok to be a little hungry sometimes, but don t starve yourself.

there is no magical way to lose weight. You have to control the amount of calories you consume and exercise. Go swimming, Jog with friends, walk in the park with friends, or go to the Gym or do it all in different days so you can have a variaties of things to do and wont get bored of just one thing. Also look for a partner maybe a friend to support each other and make it fun also. You also have to be patient it might take time to actually lose the weight you want, doesnt happen in just one day. where your weight is now, you are at the 98th percentile for your age/sex. sounds like you may be binge eating. try eating within a half hour of waking up. at first you probably won t feel hungry but your body will adjust. eat something with protein and then eat every 3 hours or so, small meals to keep your blood sugar stable. do not exceed 2000 calories a day. as for exercise, cardio is good for losing weight. you could buy an exercise tape and follow that in the privacy of your own home (i like denise austin) or jog, starting off at about 15 minutes 3-5 times a week, then increase to a half hour when you feel comfortable with that. once you get into the habit of it, a healthy lifestyle will become part of your daily routine. good luck!! :)

I used to weigh in at 245...now down to 215 three months later and keeps getting better. I ve been using a program from http://bellyfatisnasty.comIt had a great food guide with a bunch of healthy meal plans, and the workouts are probably the best I ve ever done. I ve lost a good portion of my gut.You can stop eating at night by eating more nutritious foods throughout the day with lots of fiber and healthy fats and protein. It stops your cravings. Good luck!

why dont you try eating small protions of food during the day? are you at work or sth? well just carry fruits with you...or vegetables...or just have your lunch at 6.....but not at night...you are killing you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we should eat our dinner before 7! and you are having your lunch after 7!!!

eat once a day. ( eat good) and dont eat after 6 pm it works my best diet.

well i would exorsise everyday. and o would also eat that special k cereal. the chocolate special k is very good and it also helps you loose weight. so i would exorsie each day and eat a bowl of special k a day. and you will loose 6 pounds in 2 weeks if you eat the special k cereal a day. =)

try to concentrate in meals that has less Cholesterol and less Calories As far as you...and don t use car but walk..walking is the best sport that help you to lose weightand never eat before sleeping..Try not to eat after 8
