How to lose weight!!! HELP!!!!!? -

I am a normal weight but it would be nice if I can lose about 10 pounds. could u give me tips??? im NOT TAKING MEDICATION OR CHEMICALS

Weight Watchers!!!!! I swear by it! I have lost 65 lbs (so far) and gone from a size 20 to a size 8. Go to weightwatchers.com and you can join the website for free. You can do it on your own, or you can pay and go to meetings. Good luck!

go to sparkpeople.com its a free website that can help with how many calories to eat how many to burn its a great website for losing weight getting healthy I use this website love it

Okay, first of all, are you eating good. Yes your healthy but since your trying to loose weight this is important. Drink water, instead of carb filled pops and sodas. Also eat tons of fruits, veggies, and a lean piece of meat. Like instead of eating fatty hamburger, eat lean turkey. Also workout. Im not saying workout like a maniac, but just now and then and limit yourself until your build up! And don t try starving yourself, or throwing up because once you start, and try and eat reg. food cuz u lost weight.... well u get back to where you started!! I m not trying to be mean, just a friendly tip!! Good luck and i hope you loose those pesky ten pounds.

Well being pregnant with twins is not a good time to lose weight. If your a normal weight for your young age and height I see no reason to lose weight either.. be happy . The best tip I can give you is this: Make sure your questions here on answers correspond with each other.

if ur a normal weight, i wouldn t recommend messing with your diet too much but instead increase your activity level.Do this for a month and ur good to go!1) if it s less than 3 miles away, walk2) cut out soda 3) skin an apple, cut it up into pieces, put it in a ziplock bag w/ some suger and cinnamon...shake...substitute this for unhealthy snack items.4) if you re hungry...eat, ignoring hunger slows down your metabolism5) if you re not hungry...don t eat.stay healthy!*cheers*

If u r normal weight do u want to be underweight? Losing 10 lbs is really a lot if u are normal weight. I was always underweight until recent years. The best way to lose weight is to eat less and lay off junk food. U also need to walk or do something to burn extra calories. If u lose 2 to 3 lbs a week that is better than trying to lose it fast. Diets are a temporary fix. People always gain back weight when they go off. Plan on a permanent change in your diet. Also once you reach your goal weight monitor it weekly. It is easier to lose a few lbs than a lot. by the way I weigh 125 and I am 5 5 . I went to 118 and everyone told me I looked too skinny. Guess it depends on your age.

Go on a diet and exercise more. I would also suggest to get in an exercise club.

Have you tried green tea? I started drinking green tea about 7 months ago. It curbs my appetite. I still eat regular portions of foods but with the green tea, I tend not to over eat. I ve also tried One-a-Day Weight Smart Vitamins. It also have a green tea extract.

Plz I need help on how to lose weight!? -

My friend said she needs to lose weight in her thighs. Do u anyway to lose weight 4 FREE in ur thighs. THANKS!

Everyone has a problem spot. It can be around the stomach, thighs, arms or chest. No matter where your trouble spot is, the solution is exactly the same. You need to eat less and exercise more. The reason why there s only one solution for all of these problems is because it s impossible to tell your body where to burn the excess fat from. When you eat too many calories, your body stores the excess energy as fat in different areas around the body. To lose this fat, you need to create a calorie deficit (eat less than you burn) to force your body to start burning that fat for energy. There is absolutely no way to control where your body goes to find this extra fat. The larger your calorie deficit (a bigger calorie deficit means a bigger difference between what you eat and what you burn) the faster your body will burn excess fat and the quicker your body fat percentage will start to decrease. You can increase your calorie deficit by cutting your daily intake and exercising more. Sit ups will do nothing to target the fat around your abs just like squats will do nothing to target the fat around your thighs. You can read more about fixing your trouble spots at the Guide to Reducing Body Fat - http://straighthealth.com/pages/guides/r

How to lose weight when your already kind of slim? -

try the lil jack workout http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezr

You would have to go on a super strict and quite bland diet. Food like fish and broccoli and salads and do lots and lots of cardio. That would make you underweight though.

Well if you are already slim why do you want to lose more weight just try to keep your weight for your body proportion.

May someone give me advice on how to lose weight? -

No pills, no starving myself to death or anything like that I just want to lose weight the old fashion way could someone help me on that? Thanks alot

There is one sure way you can loose weight that no one really likes but I have done it along with many others and it is proven effective everytime. Watch what you eat; look for more low fat and low calorie foods, don t eat three solid meals a day; eat a nutrient filled breakfast with plenty of protein and snack on low fat foods through out the day. Don t over eat, when you are no longer hungry, stop eating and save your remains for later, never stuff yourself as this will cause your stomach to stretch. If you drink pop, stop. Pop/soda is a very fatty substance that is in no way good for you even if it is diet. If you don t enjoy plain water I recommend buying some flavored water or flavor packets such as Crystal Light. You could also drink juice, but watch the amount of sugar that is in it. You would be amazed how much sugar they pack into juices these days. Last but certainly not least, find some way of exercise. Brisk walking for thirty minutes a day is sufficient and any other physical activity for roughly thirty minutes will help you loose weight. But most of all you MUST be motivated. If you aren t motivated you will not be able to do this. On a last note, try not to indulge in anything often as it can sometimes become more of a daily ritual.

Lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks??There are some websites on the Internet, which promise you that you are going to lose 10 pounds in every 2 weeks. If you are good in math you will find that keeping these stats in mind, 260 pounds in a year. Losing 260 pounds is the figure, which is unbelievable and unexpected. This kind of claims are planned just to cause clients to make impulsive decisions. When you gain weight, did you gained around 50 minds in two months? Certainly not. We gain weight in weight in small parts, which add up to our weight. This keeps on increasing with time.I think you get what I mean to say. We normally gain weight in grams like 65 gram per week. With this stat you are going to gain around 7 pounds at the end of year. This weight is so slow that you cannot measure it weekly. But in fur years you are going to gain around 28 pounds. So how can you expect this weight to go in few days? You are going to lose the way you have gained it. So it will take time to lose weight. So you have to start losing weight systematically. You can lose weight by developing the good eating habits in you and nutritious foods.

Let me tell you how I did it and I am still doing it ... I started using a No Diet Weight Loss Plan . Honestly, I did not diet (that s boring), eat special foods (that cost extra money), skip meals (that makes your stomach growl), or even exercise (physically that is hard for me to do because of my back). I have lost 20 pounds in 26 days and 2 in my waist and I have 30 more pounds to go. It is the simpliest weight loss plan that I have ever experienced and I am 45 years old

Make small, gradual changes and over time, they will have an extremely powerful effect on you.Check out http://www.obesitykills.iconfessional.co . The guy there is an ex-Marine, like myself, and he s putting together a program for himself in his blog that will get him back into shape. It will work for pretty much anyone and he s doing it all publically. He s not selling anything, just sharing what he s doing as he does it. He s hoping for encouragement and motivation from his readers.Hope that helps.

The best way is to change you eating habits(not diet) I eat @ 6 meals a day (breakfast, lunch dinner and 3 snacks) all are healthy, lower calorie meals( chicken breast, veggies or tuna and wheat crackers) snacks are yogurt with blueberries or low fat cheese and crackers. Calorie intake depends on your weight and desired weight.Excercise is also very important, cardio every other day @ 30-45 minutes and weight training in between. Also, cheat 1 meal a week! Only one this will keep you from getting bored or frustrated with changes

Exercise! Believe me, it s the only way to have a fit body. Along with regular exercise, you may also control your food intake with Weight Loss/Hoodia sample. These will help develop firmer muscles, while you burn fats and shed off those extra pounds. Check out this site http://www.upkb.com/weightloss.php for more info.

You see there is no secret to losing weight... I myself was obese at a time and now am currently a in shape, low wieghted man. Its as simple as you think... Many meals a day(4-5) will boost your metabolism at a rapid rate as long as these meals are smaller than regular meals. Eating healthy is the key, no fast foods candy soda(especially soda), and all that jazz. When people say, oh its OK to cheat once or twice , there wrong, once you start cheating your body consumes and happens to favor these sugar which will lead to more cravings of fatty foods. Its good that your not starving yourself, because if you do, body fat is stored within you and muscle is being eaten away... I hope this helped, these are only the basics, I have read about 7 diet books and within all of them this is the key... Good luck, I m rooting for ya!!!

If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate , and plan your diet carefully. Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

cut calories and exercise...it s the only thing that works short and long term...anyone saying anything else is a fool

Every year Americans invest billions of dollars in weight loss diets and gimmicks, many of which yield few results. However, the lure of quick, easy weight loss is hard to resist. Despite ineffective tools, most hopeful consumers are willing to give the next weight loss fad a chance. If you re planning to start a new diet, it is important to remember the following information.Food-specific diets: Have you ever tried the cabbage diet or the fruit-only diet? These are just a couple of examples of diets that promote one specific food that causes weight loss. No matter how much you think you ll enjoy ice cream at every meal, inevitably you will get bored with eating the same food repeatedly. As a result, you ll eat less food than needed to maintain your weight. This type of diet will not teach you healthier eating habits or provide a balance of nutrients, and consequently is not effective for long-term weight loss.High-protein, low-carbohydrate diets: One of the most recent trends in dieting, these diets are based on the concept that carbohydrates are bad and that everyone has some degree of insulin resistance, resulting in poor carbohydrate metabolism. Many proponents of these diets suggest that including carbohydrates in your diet will cause weight gain. The reality, though, is that eating more calories (whether as carbohydrate, fats, or protein) than you burn will cause weight gain.High-fiber, low-calorie diets: Fiber-rich foods play an important role in a healthy diet. They are a helpful ingredient of weight loss efforts because they provide bulk to the diet, which helps you feel fuller sooner. Be careful, though: if you plan to increase the fiber in your diet, be sure to increase your fluid intake at the same time or you may experience cramping, bloating, and constipation. High-fiber diets will help with weight loss only if you restrict calories in conjunction with addition of extra grains, fruits and vegetables.Liquid diets: Consumers face a couple of different liquid diet options. Your local grocery store and pharmacy sell over-the-counter liquid meal replacements, which can be expensive and frequently add extra calories to daily consumption if not managed carefully. On the other hand are liquid diets that require medical supervision. These diets are usually very low in calories and may result in metabolic abnormalities if dieters are not carefully monitored. Neither type of liquid diet should be used for long-term weight loss unless monitored by a health care professional. Radically changing your caloric intake in this way will not result in long-term behavior modification and healthy eating patterns.Fasting: As a way to cleanse the body or jump-start a weight-loss program, fasting has been recommended for years. However, all that fasting really does is deprive your body of nutrients and decrease your energy, leaving you feeling weak and lightheaded. If the right nutrients are not available for your cells to use as energy, your liver will convert fat stores to ketones for use as energy (ketosis). Long-term ketosis can be harmful to your health. No fad diet or gimmick will work magic for safe and effective weight loss. The following are some suggestions for ensuring a long-term healthy eating plan and getting your weight loss efforts off to an encouraging start: Eat a variety of foods. Remember, a balanced diet will ensure that you get all necessary nutrients. Get some physical activity every day. Calories in must be less than calories out to ensure successful weight loss. To keep calories out at a healthful level, make you get at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day.Include sources of fiber in your diet. They will add bulk and give you a feeling of fullness.Choose a diet low in fats, saturated fats, and cholesterol. You do need to consume some fat for good health. Aim for no more than 30 percent of your total calories as fat calories, of which no more than 10 percent should be saturated fat calories.Choose foods moderate in sugars. Foods that are high in simple sugars usually offer little nutritional value and will add unwanted calories.Choose foods moderate in salt and sodium. Remember that salt has been added to many foods during preparation or processing, so it s not necessary to add extra salt at the table.

I would love to help!Go see my before and after picture...I lost alot of weigth!http://www.healthandstrength.net(I just posted on Question of the Week some great info on cutting/saving calories)Here is basically what I did1. NO SUGAR EVER (not even hidden sugars, read the ingredients)2. Lots of water (2-3 liters a day - clean water too, not tap)3. Exercise - 30 mins of cardio 3x a week with 2-3 weight sessions.4. Eat 5-6 small meals a day to keep your metabolism up5. SLEEP! (preferably before 11pm and for 8 hours)6. smile and believe you are losing weight

Don t eat as much, but at the same time don t starve yourself. And do at least moderate cardio or aerobic workouts 3-4 times a week.Note: if you haven t been working out (running, cycling, swimming, etc.) you WILL put on some weight at the beginning - this is muscle and it helps you burn fat - do not stress over it.

Try baby food and ensure and water .... It s called the stripper diet... It cost to be beautiful!!! Good Luck

South Beach Diet....easy and healthy while still eating delicious food.

Weight watchers. Hands down it is the easiest thing I have ever tried. You can pretty much eat anything you want but food is assigned a point value depending on such factors as fat, calories and dietary fiber grams. You have measure and weigh almost everything. Look up weight watchers online to find a meeting place. Yes you need to attend the meeting and weigh in every week for it to really work. You will get support and they will give you the guides that show you the ponits value for every food you can think of. I lost 46 pounds in 4 months.

you basically have to burn off more calories then you intake. you have to excersice off more calories then what you eat

How much weight can I lose? -

I weigh 133lbs and am 5 4 . I would like to drop 15 lbs by the end of September. Is it possible to lose 5lbs a week if I excercise and eat healthy? Please give me some tips on how to lose weight fast. And I dont want to buy or join anything like joining a gym or anything like that. Please help!

it depends on your age too. the younger the quicker. but the average is abut 2-3 pounds a week when you are dieting hard. The first week you could lose 4 because of water loss.

I lost more than 5 pounds in a week...and I burned 500 calories on a tredmill a day.

You possibly can lose that much in a month but it just depends on your body. I lost 100 pounds in about 18 months, but there were a couple months where I was losing anywhere from 5 to 20 pounds a month and then out of nowhere I couldn t lose any weight, I tried working out harder and stuck to my diet but my weight did not budge. Eventually I dropped like 20 pounds in 5 weeks but my body was just adjusting. Granted I am a male, that was my experience, yours may very well vary.

what are you trying to do, look invisible.

you will not be losing fat with 5 lbs a week. realistic weight loss is 2 pounds a week maximum. if you lose 5 pounds, much of it will be water (70% of your body is made of it) and muscle. you want to make sure you re burning FAT. ignore the scale, lots of times when you work out you are losing fat but it s being replaced with useful muscle (muscle burns 5x more calories than fat) so your metabolism will speed up. Yet, the scale won t show that much a change. You should look at how your clothes fit, they are the best indicator of weight loss. Make sure you eat whole wheat carbs (most of it during the day), lots of lean proteins and vegetables, cut out sugar, take multivitamins, have oatmeal for breakfast, and 8 glasses of water a day. Exercise at least 5 times a week, min 30 minutes each time with additional good stretching and you will be leading yourself to a lifestyle that will make you live longer and healthier. Think of the long run!! Don t set such short goals. Good luck!

I did the anorexic thing and it worked. I just ate little amounts of food and no 2nds and I drinked green tea.

This doesn t sound health to do...

Walk walk walk. That s the key to losing weight. You don t want to starve yourself. Don t eat so much crap. Avoid junk food and pepsi, and substitute in loads of fruit and vegetables. And get out walking chicka. That s how u do it.You should eat 5 to 10 daily servings of fruits and vegetables, are u getting that now??Good luck, and no eating after 8pm.

no, its not healthy to loose 5 lbs a week, you can maximum loose 1-2 lbs a week. eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, drink a lot of water, eat 1 meal a day high in proteins.. and excercise 1hr a day. I wish u best of luck...

I agree with miranda. you can t loose 5 pounds a week it s impossible but I think that you shouldn t really worry about weight loss. unless if it is possing a mager health risk then you shouldn t try to loose weight. I honestly think that if you are confortable with who you are then what s the point in trying to make everyone else happy? As long as you are happy that s all that matters. and to sick of life ....no not everyone tries to do that.....matter of a fact I hate britney and lohan.....I think that they are both terrible roll modles on how teens should look.....but they do show us how we aren t suppose to look. so I hope that every girl in the word learns from what they are doing and don t go out and do it themselves...God help us all if we have anymore lohans, spears, or paris hyltons......no offense to their fans.

According to the BMI you are at 22.8 = Healthy, 118 pounds you will be at 20.4 = still healthy. Why do you want to loose weight ?

hi,To know your ideal weight , check this equation - [( your height (in cm) - 150)*3/4 + 50 ] the result is your ideal weight in kgs , so if you are overweight and you want to reach your ideal weight there s a site i know of , http://overweight-doc.co.nr/ , they offer a program to lose 9 lbs. every 11 days. This program proved to be very useful as it s one of the healthiest programs ever to lose weight. well go there and see for yourself. and i hope it helps.

Do the South Beach Diet

How to lose weight? -

i want to lose some weight. mostly around my belly, hips, and tighs what are some good work outs and stuff like that. and when would be the best time to run? morning or night?

build muscle. it ll take your extra fat.(fat that didn t get burn)i don t exactly remember how.drink lots of water, eat nuts and raisins to increase metabolismworkout.eat healthy.eat slowly, because it takes awhile for food to digest, soit takes awhile to be full after eating.eating slowly will allow you to know when you re full to eat less.don t sit in front of the tv while eating.do aerobic exercises do 2 30min then have a 20 min break you ll lose more wight than not taking breaks at allstarving will get you skinnier but at the end of it when you eat normally again your body will be saving it,and you ll gain weight fasterlike bears saving their food for the winter.

Hi,I think the best way to lose weight is to jog, workout and take diet logically. There is no good tablet for this problem. You can visit http://letdiet.blogspot.com for further information. It s the best site about diet and health. I hope you can be satisfy with it.

jog and excircise

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurities come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The impurities get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the impurities by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher and Medifast. If you want to learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. This was the first time I ever did a cleanse, it was easy and I feel better. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://www.diet4cleansing.com

Cut back on foods that have a high fat content.Time of day doesn t really make a significant difference. For the tummy, sit ups and leg lifts.Running is good overall exercise.Remember, if you re on a treadmill to set the weight accurately and if you set it with an elevation, you ll burn more calories.

To a very high degree, you should weigh as much as you feel happy with weighing. As far as a healthy weight , that s what most of the other posts are about (calculating your BMI, diet plans, etc).... but most people will say what the average is according to different opinions. As long as you are at a weight where you are healthy, the most important part is that you are HAPPY with your weight... not that you should be X pounds , but that no matter what you weigh, you are happy with that instead of striving to be a size 2 or something like thatThat being said, if you want to lose weight, exercise is a really good (and safe) way to lose weight. In addition to that, I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietitian to see if there is something else that may benefit you more.Whenever you want to run or exercise would be the best time... some people prefer morning, some prefer evening.
