Yes, it is...but I would not cut out carbs completely, and start eating more complex carbs which are healthier. Like in egg whites! Which are LOW LOW calories, and if you go buy a cartoon of egg whites and scramble them, they tastes the same as regular whole eggs. Also, exercise is just the biggest part in weight loss! Try eating 5-6 small meals a day and walk/jog three miles. This will start getting you in shape and you will drop pounds quickly! Just stick to it! And stay away from red meats. Which are really fatty! Stick to poultry and fish! And a fruit smoothie (Made with REAL fruit and low fat plain yogurt) with protein powder is really good for breakfast and digestion!

Avoid refined sugars (especially sodas and candy bars) and refined grains (white bread or pasta). Eat several smaller meals during the day rather than 2-3 big ones. For exercise, I d recommend doing cardio workout as this will kick up your metabolism over the course of several hours, helping in the burning of fat. If you are in decent condition to start with, you might also want to do some resistance training to tone your muscles. Toned muscles always look better by adding definition without adding mass.Do a bit of research each day. Eventually it adds up to a wealth of information that you can use to make good decisions that work for you. Well, first things first, I ll tell you how I lost weight, but before that, I want to tell you what NOT to do.The first thing not to do is fall for low fat sweet packs. They are very dangerous for your health and do nothing at all. Next thing is avoid ANYTHING with the word DIET on it. And the third thing not to do is fall for any pills or any product that is said to kill fat/kill weight. I cannot stress this enough.Now onto the part you want to hear about.The way I lost weight was from eating about half of what I usually ate. The next thing I did was quit all fast food restaurants that I ate that was deep fried or covered in oil. The next thing was that I avoided most sweets (do not avoid all, or you will faint due to low blood sugar) because of the calories that they give. Once in a while is ok. And the last thing I did was avoid drinking anything sweet. What I did was drink UNSWEET tea, and most people think they will stay healthy and lose weight by drinking sweet tea, they are sadly mistaken. I would recommend water or tea, any tea works also.Hope it helps, but the thing that makes the most, is not how you look, but how you are. You are right you would benefit from losing a bit of weight but here s the good news, you have picked the perfect stage in your life to do it. 1. you are just starting puberty when you body shape will change anyway and you will be using extra energy growing.2. if you get it right now, you will never need to worry about it again.So, forget fast, in fact forget weight loss for the minute. Think instead about reevaluting your lifestyle so that it is more healthy. Like I say, you ve pick a great time to do it as things will be changing alot over the next few years for you anyway. You can guide those changes to be healthy ones.First look at what you are eating. Make sure you are getting your 5 portions of fruit and vegetables. What s a portion I hear you ask, well if you think in terms of eating a minimum of 1lb in weight of fruit and veg every day you won t go far wrong. Next water, at least 3 pints a day, don t let yourself get thirsty, drink constantly throughout the day. Then exercise, take up some activity, make it something you enjoy. Ok perhaps you dont enjoy exercise much just now, in that case make it something you can stand to do regularly, you will find as you get fitter and slimmer you will begin to enjoy it more. Don t get too obsessed with your weight, you are growing remember so it should be going up. Also as you increase your activity levels then you will have a greater muscle density. Muscle is denser than fat so 1lb of muscle takes up less space. You weight may not go down as much as you d hoped but you may still be getting thinner. The most important thing is that you get it into your head that you have to make permenent changes to your lifestyle. It is what you do every day that decides you size and weight. So you every day habits, what you do naturally, are what will get you slim and healthy and keep you there. So it s vitally important that any changes you make are ones you can stick with or however sucessful you are once you go back to your old habits the weight will go back on. Yogurt is good calcium and fruit depending on what kind you are eating is good fiber and sugar. You need carbs, and protein in your diet. What you are doing is very unhealthy for you. Your body is getting so little that it holds on to anything it gets so of course you will not loose any weight. High protein diets and more smaller meals are the best in losing weight and staying healthy. Do some research on line about healthy eating and high protein diets.

if you really want to trim down fast you should probably eat about 800 calories of lean protein -not just shakes but real food like fish chicken, and workout like a crazy person for over 2 hours a day. that s the best way. if you starve yourself the most you will loose is like 12 lbs. and half will come back. but if thats the way you want to go try the master cleanser.
No, that won t work. I know from experience that you can t lose any more than 10lbs off of just starving yourself. And once you eat normally again, you ll gain it all back. You just have to diet and exercise. And diet does not mean eat less, it means eat HEALTHY

eat more fruit and veggies. especially when you want things such as chips or popcorn, try cucumber instead, strawberries or snap peas, yum! the great thing about them is that they are good for you and also have natural sugars vs. breads and pre-made stuff. geez...just look at the ingredients on the back of foods. can you tell me what doesn t have corn syrup in it? if most of your diet consists of eating the right foods (natural) and excersizing you will lose wieght in no time. think of it as a common sense. it takes a lot of discipline and self control to do this. in the end it is way cheaper and healthy. i know i feel much better eating fruits and veggies vs. meat. what i do is make small changes, and they re surprisingly effective, like not eating after 7 PM, drinking lots of green tea and water, less sugar intake (but i do eat sugar), and having a balanced meal as well as exercise regularly. :)don t eat too little because then your body will lock itself in starvation mode and will try to keep everything you eat. depending on your height and stature, it s expected that you eat at least 1200 kcal a day. if you eat any less you won t lose it. trust me. :)
