Atkins Diet- Need to lose weight fast? -

What do you think? I want to lose some weight fast. I had some health problems and gained weight pretty fast recently and now my wedding is nearing and I have to fit in my dress. I know it is not the healthiest diet, but I have heard it works fast. Anyone do this and lose a decent amound during the Induction Phase? About how much in the first 2 weeks? Did you gain the weight back? How fast? Thanks!

I used to do the Atkins diet all the time when my jeans got a little snug. I could lose about 16 pounds in 2 weeks. But, the last time I did it, my blood sugar bottomed out and I passed out, I haven t done it since.

well if your going to join the military anyways, it doesnt hurt to hit the weights, and replace that fat wityh muscle. Run once a day, atleast a mile. Timing yourself might cause you to push yourself and keep cutting time off if you are positive about it. I knew a guy (currently in boot camp for the marines) who lost 50 pounds in about 3 months doing that, so if he can do it, you can do it.

you can go about it like bodybuilders do; do 1 hr of cardio in the morning on an empty stomach, later in the day lift weights with a minutes rest in between hitting each body part once a week. a clean diet eating 6 smaller meals high in protein and low in fat. break your jawl... i broke mine before and lost like 20 lbs. in a week and a half. i didn t have exactly a lot of body fat to lose either so 20 lbs was a lot for me to lose.... if you don t want to break your jaw, just don t eat and drink water.

What are the benefits of walking with hand weights. will it help me lose weight faster? -

Nothing. There is ZERO benefit to walking with weights in your hands. If anything, you re going to end up injuring yourself because it simply isn t natural. Any additional calories burned would be negligible and aren t worth it when you consider the additional health risks (e.g. joint injury).If you want to burn more calories pick up the intensity, walk up a hill, start jogging, etc. Another trick to help you lose weight a little quicker, try doing your cardio first thing in the morning (before breakfast). Try this for about a week and then alternate back and forth between first thing in the morning and your normal routine. Good luck.

i dont know if it will help you lose weight faster but you are using another muscle group when you walk and use hand weights, so that in itself is good!! good luck and just keep moving!!!
