What is a fun way to lose weight fast? -

I am entering 5th grade in September.I want to be average weight.Around 60 or 70 pounds.I weigh around 114 pounds.I HATE being overweight.I am tiered of all the teasing,not being able to fit in the coolest clothes for my age,embarresment,and other things.I do not want to plan a diet or change the way I eat.I want it to be fun.I already have dance dance revoulution for the PS2 but I want more ways.I want to lose weight before September of 2006. Any ways?

Swimming is a great way. What you should do is everyday tread in the water for about 2 minutes it moves around all the excess fat to help get rid of it.[tread means just kicking your legs and not touching the ground]

play a sport, ride your bike, go on hikes.Stop eating fast food, chips, french fries, candy, soda, etc.If it has sugar in it then don t eat it. Go for fruits, vegetables, etc.

ride a bycycle or play basketball

Drink ALOT of water..eat less.

Dance especially Salsa dances have the moves that make you lose weight even without your knowledge

food is just energy. you eat it...then either you burn it off by using energy...or, you store it.If you won t change the way you eat, that s not such a big deal...but it means you definitely have to change your energy USAGE...in other words, get more exercise. DDR for an hour+ a day would be good...but it would have to be constant, not stopping and starting.I would say start running or something. Or biking. Or swimming. Or get into soccer. Or wrestling, or football. If NOTHING sounds good for burning energy...then you have no choice but to eat better.Its pretty straight forward though...its gonna be one or the other.

Don t lift weights--your muscles and bones are still growing and you don t want to stress them out more. But definitely do weight-bearing exercise, since it ll strengthen your bones. I mean, like walking, running, dancing--stuff on your feet. Swimming s good, but don t neglect stuff that will get you on your feet. Good luck!

ask some of your friends if they want to join a sport with you, like swimming, ice skating, running... i do gymnastics and i love it. find a sport that you enjoy. whatever you do do NOT go anorexic. thats bad. very bad.

Why does a really heavy person lose weight faster than a skinny person? -

My mom used to weigh like 280something and lost 80 pounds fast by walking on the treadmill and drinking Slimfast, yet I weigh 117 and drink the same thing and run on our treadmill and gained 2 pounds. I m stuck on 119 forever now even though everyone says I look slimmer.

thats cuz ur body loses fat that it duznt need cuz it doesnt try to perserve the fat... ut thinner so u have a LOT less fat and and u need to work harder to get it off cuz ur body is trying to perserve that fat...also u prolly gained 2 pounds in muscle which is heavier than fat yet slimmer so thats y u gain weight but appear slimmer which is more important than become lightter rihT?

Why are you trying to loose weight if you only weight 117 pounds? You have a problem it seems like and need to see your doc about this.

Heavier person has more weight (fat) to lose than a smaller person, there for the weight for a heavier person will tend to come off faster at first but they will to hit a point where it will start to get harder., It sounds to me like you don t need to lose any weight how tall are you? Also when you exercise you are going to gain muscle which weighs more than fat so it is possible not to lose any weight to be smaller and heathier! Best of Luck.

Write down everything you eat throughout the day as well as how many calories. Limit your calories to 1,750 a day and you will lose lots of weight. You should try upping your protein intake, and cut calories. I lost 10lbs. last week by eating 6 or 7 small meals a day, and keep each meal under 200 calories. This is a little difficult for you to lose weight fast without eating proper protein. If you could include fish like samon or tuna into your diet, you would probably lose weight faster. My niece who was 5 2 and 190 pounds last year came to live with me and here is what we did. She ate oatmeal for breakfast,or fresh fruit, then she walked at least a mile a day. She worked in the garden a lot, ate a small lunch composed of a salad or 1/2 a turkey sandwich on multigrain bread no mayonaise, substituted mustard. then for diinner we would cook, fish, or chicken and have a huge salad with low fat or fat free salad. sometimes we would steam vegetables instead of having salad for dinner and she would eat salad for lunch. And at least three times a week we would go to the gym at night for about two hours. She spent 30 minutes walking on the treadmill, then 1 1/2 hours working out on machines in the gym. The weight began falling off of her. She has lost 75 pounds now. I swear that is all she did. no pills no diet aids nothing else but eat right and exercise. She had been overweight for 10 years. She was a size 20 and now she is a size 8. She has worked so hard and I know you will too. Don t worry about when you eat a cookie or something bad for you once in a while, we all do, she did, but she worked twice as hard the next day. She has kept the weight off since October.

Exercise. I know, it s a hard pill to swallow, but exercise is the best way to loose weight. There are other ways to loose weight, but some of them are extremely dangerous to you health. Trust me, just exercise.

Stop eating suger. My mom did and she lost a whole lot. You can eat some but not a lot. This is quit and easy.

well fasting will work... obviously because you re starving yourself. but as soon as you start eating again you will gain the weight back and then some.. After having a child I lost 75 lbs by, eating just cereal everyday for every meal 5 days a wk. on weekends, I hate only lowfat foods and not after 5 p.m. Such as, baked chicken, 1 veg, and zero to nonfat desert. I did not give up my sweet tea through the week, and ate any kind of cereal out there. Anytime, during the day I d eat a bowl of cereal if I got hungry. It work quick also!

the best and the fastest way to lose weight is to obstruct the quantity of food that we eat! dont skip meals ull end up feeling very hungry by the next meal....just try and concentrate on some really imp issue like ur studies ,ur bf or sumthing that doesnt deal with FOOD! its the best.i used to have milk toasted rusk(available at indian markets) with a large cup of tea for breakfast,if i felt hungry in between meals i used to munch on an apple or any such fruit,for lunch i had proper home made food (have the entire meal),in the evening have milk its neccesary for our bones,ad for dinner i used to have a med bowl of pasta with veggies or soup and salad.i even opted for plain gravy and whatever mum made for dinner without any carbs! im a b+ so carbs make me gain weight! have loads of water and jog days a week for 15mints! ull lose weight like sumthing! i lost 6kgs in 1 month.

Hi Lindsay...Its good that you want to lose weight.But i would like to suggest that the best way to lose ur extra fat or whatever you say is to make it shed by working out and not by starving yourself.You can reduce your food intake but increase your body activity which will mak eyou lose calories....You can spend some time to identify the calorie intake per day and the calories you burn in your daily activities....Once you identify and match these then you will be alright.From my point that is the best way.... :)Regards,Varalu.

skip break fast skip lunch skip supper take only something enough at night not much just enough .. it really helps in one week I can garuntee you will loose like 10 pounds but you have to have will power .. it worked for me ...

You lose weight quickly, you will very quickly put it back on.No alcohol, don t eat after seven pm, eat healthy, balanced small meals. LOTS of water.

Can any one help me lose weight fast? -

I am 14 5 5.5 and 140 lbs. I do Turbo Jam twice a day and i ride my bike once a day. I know I need to eat right but is there any way that i can lose weight FAST by just exercising. Or is there any way i can lose weight fast?

I LOVE Turbo Jam, haha. But really? It sounds like you re doing it right with the exercise, just make sure you DO eat right... that s essential as well. I know it s frustrating when you don t see immediate results, but it takes time. My only other suggestion would be diet pills, but your way is a lot healthier. (:

Sorry to say this, but no. You will have to eat right also, in fact, that is the MOST important thing in losing weight. There is so much false information going around about weight loss. Some is decent advice but most of it is horrible.The most important thing for fat loss, is that your diet is as natural and unprocessed as possible. It almost always comes back to the over processing of food that makes it bad for you, and makes it totally destroy your metabolism and hormone balance in your body. For example, why eat refined grains, when you can eat whole grains. Why eat refined sugar, when you can get natural sources of sugar from a high nutrient whole food like fruit. Why eat highly processed, refined, and hydrogenated vegetable oils (these are THE worst thing in the modern diet), when you can eat natural sources of healthy fats like nuts, avocados, fish, eggs, coconut milk, organically raised meat, and so forth. The point is to not fall for some gimmick like low carbs, low fat, high protein, or any other combination that has you focusing on one macronutrient vs. another. Your body needs all macronutrients to thrive and obtain a variety of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, etc. Trying to cut an entire food group out just works against what your body needs.Just be persistent, set goals, make little changes and stick with them. Don t count calories, it will drive you crazy. Just stop eating when your satisfied. You will get to where you want to be. You really have to want it, I did, and I m at my goal weight now.
