Most people that crash diet and lose weight fast will just gain all of it back plus more when they start eating again. Doctors don t recommend that you lose more than 2 pounds a week while dieting. You could cut your calories to about 1200 and try eating some of the following which might help you to lose the weight in a healthy way:If you want to eat healthy, try low fat, high protein, low carb diet. I have been through it all and know what s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes. Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight. First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it s good for the heart.However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. exercise and adequate calorie intake make you lose weight, this everybody knows and supports. lots of people make a living from instructing others on how to eat, how to exercise etc. and make it seem more complicated than it actually is, because the more confused people are , the more readers their magazines have, gyms get full, more equipment is sold, etc.YES cold showers help ME lose fat faster so its logic that the same thing may happen to you if you take them. take a 10 minute cold shower and you will definitely burn calories. i cant explain why, i dont know if anybody can. i stay fit with good old burpees, pushups, pullups, and cold showers. i see a difference in fat storage if i switch to hot showers.

They don t make you lose weight instantly, they speed up your metabolism for a little while because your metabolism is working harder to warm up your body. This is just a trick among hundreds of other s that people use when they are on a diet. The main idea is that every calorie counts.

Showers or baths have absolutely not one thing to do with weight loss. Someone told you some nonsense.

Its a myth and a lie. It won t speed your metabolic rate up, you will be clean but that s about it!

I need to know how to lose weight fast and how long it will take! and dont tell me to exercise because i know that.

just eat smaller portions of food. eat half as much as u usually do.

no way... it makes you the laughing stock of all those who see you.Instead opt for a sauna.It s deceny and dignified. No stomach crunches and cut down on fatty chocholates and ice-creams.Exercise and work out so as to sweat your guts out and you ll burn calories. Sit or stand erect, that way ,your posture burns extra calories, without you havinf to do special exercises for it.

yeah definately. im 105 lb wrestler at my high school. and i usually have to lose about 3-5 lbs in about 3 days or so. and i found out that if u wear a trash bag, wear layers, and run in the heat for about 30 mins then u lose about a pound....no lie Report Abuse

No not really. It makes you sweat, which loses fluid, but as soon as you drink water, you gain it right back. It could actually hurt you if you get to hot when walking, could cause heat stroke. Your body can t cool itself off like it needs to, the reason you sweat.

eeeewwww.... just promise me you ll take a shower afterward

You will probably feel too self concious to go out walking in a trash bag. I think it would create bad feelings which create negative energy in the body. That does not promote a heathy being.

If you don t drink soda or eat junk food then what are you eating? You can still be taking in alot of calories but be eating healthy at the same time. Try eating 5-6 smaller meals a day of healthy food (salad, lean meat, oatmeal, whole grains), I know it seems like alot but trust me it works. Doing this throughout the day helps keep your insulin levels stable so it minimizes fat storage in the body. Try getting a book called The Abs Diet by Dave Zinzeneco it will explain everything you need for a good healthy diet that won t leave you hungry, it did wonders for me. I went from about 235 to 195 in 6 weeks (i m 6 3 so its good haha). Also, you re going to the gym 3 times a week, but what are you doing while your at the gym? Are you lifting weights? Are you just doing a little bit of cardio? Try doing a full body workout with weights (trust me you won t get really muscly or anything) and also do about 30 minutes of cardio. Try and do each 3 times a week. Trust me, that book really works, but you have to stick to it. It takes work to have a nice body, its almost like a full time job haha. You can do it, and your at a young age so it will be easy for you.

well my first question is are you sexual active and is there a possibility that you could be pregnant? because i was so mad that i was gaining weight and could not lose it and then i found out the reason was because i was pregnant.

you could just be growing up, alot of girls don t get hips and curves until they are 17 or 18 sometimes so it could just be that you re body is just becoming more womanly

To lose weight you need to be burning more calories than taking in per day. You dont really need to lost much weight, if any, but the ultimate thing is just being at a healthly weight and in good physical shape. You may need to start working out 5 times a week, and make sure you do at least 45 minutes of cardio. Once you reach that point your body will continue to burn calories for the rest of the day. Once you do at least 45 minutes of cardio then lift weights, do light repititions to just get toned not buff. Also you can do crunches to help you stomach area. Now as far as eating goes, give yourself one cheat day, but really try and eat super healthly to rest. Limit your calories to around 1500-2000 a day. It is very easy to eat way more calories than need in your daily diet, so just try and keep track as best you can. Also make sure you are eating plenty of fruits veggies and protein. Even carbs are good when you are doing so much cardio! And never forget how important water is to drink!! Your are on your way to being in great shape and very healthy if you just incorporate healthy eating and exercise in your life for the rest of your life!

There is no best way because losing weight too quickly is just as bad as keeping it. Slow down, make a schedule and set long term goals. Think about it this way, you didn t get overweight overnight or in a week, so you won t lose it overnight or in a week. Patience. Slow and steady wins in the long run ; )

Cardio work out. running jogging anything that gets your blood flowing and heart rate up. Eat healthy like fruit, vegies whole wheat bread,nothing with alot of grease fat or salt.
