How can I get on a TV weight loss show? -

I am looking to participate in weight loss research studies or get onto a TV weight loss program, but how do I find these shows?

usually, go to their website and watch for upcoming even, or shows, fill out application.for example, the tv show biggest loser . go to nbc.com and check out when they re going to take application for upcoming seaon. fill out application and usually make a short video about yourself and why you need (or deserve ) to participate, etc....

What is the 18 in 4 weight loss program? Can you give me the combanation? -

Please i don t want to be told thats so unhealthy or i don t think it s a good idea Please give me the order or combonation to it please i need to lose weight, i am desprate....PLEASE!!!

Well, I d never heard of it so I simply googled 18 in 4 diet plan and found several links. Here s one.

Would this be considered healthy? or should i be concerned? -

ok so i live on basically nothing but junk food because health food makes me sick. and i dont drink any water at all because i can t stand the taste of the chemicals in it. including tap. i have a little bit of fat on my belly and some thigh fat and i guess i springy butt (:P) but i dont mind that. if i diet for maybe a day ro so, i see a change. i weigh 140 average. i have no clue what my metabolism is. and so here is my question: is this healthy? is it ok for me to be losing weight quickly while i eat nothing good? i do take vitamins for all the nutrients and such that i miss. but should i be worried?

Maybe a little worried, but not extremely because you can change your eating habits and make them healthier.Eating lots of junk food might not make you fat, but it can cause major problems inside your body that will affect your life ... so it s in your best interest to find healthy things that don t make you sick and to eat those instead. If you re not ready for vegetables, start with fruits - healthy but taste a lot better!Water is also really important to keep your organs healthy (one of the problems caused by not enough water is kidney problems). Tap water tastes bad but there are certain brands of water that have all the chemicals and minerals filtered out ... try those, water is the best possible thing to drink and can actually help with weight loss because it cleans out your body.

if your losing weight rapidly, i think it may be something to ask your doctor about, that could be a sign of something serious. but 140pds is average, thats about what i weigh. if you are concerned or you feel sick, or unhealthy it wouldnt hurt to ask your doctor; the worst thing that could happen is they say your healthy. but hey, thats just my opinion.hope it helps :D

You should be concerned... Just beicause your weight is average doesnt mean your body is healthy. You could be consuming all of that food and just staying thin because your not healthy.Try to eat better, drink Gatorade or juices.

What can substitute for the LA Lite Protein Bars and LA Snack quot;Chipsquot; from LA Weight Loss? -

Hi, i just started the LA Weight Loss program last week, and so far, it is working great for me. They give you some protein bars and snacks to try them before you actually buy some. But honestly, i am sure there are things sold in a normal grocery store that can do just the same without being ripped off. i mean 1 box of protein bars (containing 6 of them) is over 22$ and you HAVE to eat 2 bars a day (of course, they want to sell their products). I am looking to find another brand of protein bar perharps, that would be sold in a normal grocery store. Same thing goes for the snacks. Thank you very much.

iam on the la weight loss plan and i used the trim protien bars my daaughters boyfriend got them when he was on the atkins plan.you get 16 bars for about 23,00. they are really good.they helped my sweet cravingx.i lost 9 pounds the first week so they didnt hurt the diet.

Balance bars are very similar to protien bars sold by most companies. The balance bar is made by the same company that provides weightloss centers with their bars. It is slightly diffrent but just as good.

Any good substitutes for the Medical Weight Loss Program vitamine pills? or the nutrients they sell? -

I just joined the program a week and a half ago and they keep telling me that I will lose more weight quickly if I take the vitamines and nutrients they sell. Well, money is tight and cant afford the price they ask for those things. I just wanted to know if there were other over the counter nutrients that I could take that would be cheaper or a website that shows some substitutes for the extras they sell at the office. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I used their services back in August and unfortunately spent more money than I should have on the nutrients. I then found out that many online companies sell the same stuff (under a different name of course) for around $10/box. Try www.dietdirect.com or www.nashuanutrition.com. They will even ship it for free if you order enough stuff. Good luck, and just for the record it does work if you stick to it!

How many calories is ideal? -

I have had many people telling me I m not eating enough which is why I m not losing weight quickly but I m not sure about that. I m trying to have between 1200-1250 calories a day and do high intensity aerobics and strength training 5-6 days a week. I work in an office 9 hours a day (which means I m sitting on my butt) and the women in my family already have trouble losing weight. I m 5 9 and LOOK like I weight about 140. I m actually 188 and want to get down to 170. I started at 203 so I ve made some progress but I ve been stuck at the same weight now for weeks.

you need to vary your exercise. your body will get used to wat you intake an set itself for that. try week on one week on other or day on day off. go swimming to tone up

Lost 7 lbs in 4 days......? -

I often hear people ask HOW can they lose weight quickly...Well I believe I have the Safest and most assured way...I began taking Flaxseed capsules with each meal and drinkinga lot of water......It s Amazing...I have also begun walking each evening....That s how I m taking off the weight, hope this helps those of you who are trying everything else, like I once did...
