Can u lose weight fast by fasting? -

That is a bad idea. Watch the news. People die from starving their bodies. And they don t even look good. Be careful!

at first, your body fights it by slowing your metabolism and you won t lose any weight immediately. It takes a few days, then you will start to lose weight. Its not a healthy thing to do,don t do it.

Obviously you can, but you can lose just as much weight by eating as well.You really shouldnt fast. You need to lose weight at a good pace in order to be healthy..If you are really determined and will do it anyway, please eat at least things like radishes, celery and iceberg letuce (which are all made of mostly water, this way you get SOMETHING)But dont lose weight like that.Put yourself on a healthy diet, drink lots of water, stop drinking soda and eating junk, get a good amt of protein throughout the day, ands tart walking and exercising.

This is not a good idea. Your body will go into starvation mode which means it will cling on to anything in your body and therefore you won t lose weight. When you do not eat regularly, your body does not burn fat, it burns muscle, so essentially your body will be eating itself from the inside out. VERY UNHEALTHY! Aim to eat little and often and eat about every three hours, not just 3 big meals a day. Doing this ensures your body is not always craving huge meals and does not go into this starvation mode and so will metabolise quickly = weight loss! Always diet sensibly as you will spoil your metabolism and your weight will just yo-yo up and down. good luck

I m sure you re question was meant to be cute , but, since some folks may take the subject seriously, let me say that there are plenty of people who use fasting as a way to lose weight in a controlled manner. It is called dieting , and, in conjunction with exercise and other good living habits, will lead to good health. In other words, starving yourself isn t the answer.

How do I lose weight fast in 2 months? -

I am 5 6 and 135ish lbs. I want to lose like 20 lbs before school starts but I dont know how I can do it...Idk know if it helps but I wear size 7 jeans (i have no butt) size L or XL shirt. I want to be in size 5 jeans and down to a size M.I ve decided to stop eating sweets and red meat, what else should i stop eating? what are some exercises and stuff i can do?

This is a good start. Another thing you can do is if you consume soda switch to diet, or cut out soda or sugary beverages from your diet. Honestly though you sound like a healthy weight so I would make small changes and perhaps try to do a lot of the body changes via excercising. Add about 30 + minutes of cardio to your normal routine and I bet you will be fitting those skinny jeans by school time with the other healthy changes your making. If your not used to excercising walk briskly for an hour a day, in the morning or evening (since its hotter than heck right now). I love ones that involve dancing because I m having fun when I work out, do a search for dance aerobics on google to find some common tapes out there and then check them out on amazon.com!

Don t eat starchy foods like bread and pasta. Avoid sweets and sugars. Always have a good breakfast. Carry along little snacks with u like nuts (no cashews) and eat apples, carrot sticks and bananas. How to lose weight and not be so quot;plumpquot;? ? -

i have some fat rolls [[ewwww]] when i lean over. i want to get rid of these because i look really fat! it makes me feel self concious and i cant wear what i want anymore. i dont look pretty in my clothes. i want to look pretty again! haha. i sound like im going to go be anorexic or something...i eat soo much food. i cant prevent how much food i eat. for example- when i get home i automatically drop my books, call my mom and look at food and grab something. and its always unhealthy or if its something semi-healthy like cereal or something i have like 5 bowls [[im serious]] and force myself to walk upstairs and start homework. if im upstairs away from the food i can prevent myself from eating unhealthy foods. i wish i could direct myself to the healthy foods but i cant! ahh!im 13 yrs old and 5 0 tall. im about 110 pds on an average day. sometimes more- sometimes less. i do cheer twice a week with tons of conditioning. lately to get back in shape i have been doing crunches every night and things like that. at cheer practice we do TONS of consitiong. like- we do 70 push ups then ab workouts then leg workouts then a bunch more conditiong. i dont get sore or anything but it doesnt help. i cant buy anything or what not. i cant change my diet much either because my mom buys the food.l HELP

wowi love cereal too!i used to always come home after track practice and then eat 2 bowls of frosted flakes and then cinnamon toast crunch.. loli d advise you to do some track workouts. try to get to a track and run at least a mile a day..slowly working your way up to 3 miles/day.or you could also look up track workouts online. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84yC_mEfs��Do pilates abs! Eating better is a place to start. mixing eating better and exerciseing will allow you to lose weight. I suggest jogging, but if you dont enjoy that sports are a fun and at the same time you will lose weight.

You need to do cardio! Go running or swimming or biking! Cardio is the only way you ll burn fat, if you just do muscle strengthening activities without cardio, your muscles will never show because they ll be covered in a layer of fat. Try doing cardio at least 4x a week for at least 30 minutes at a time. And cut out any bad food you re eating! If you go running often and are eating good food, (between 1500-1800 cals a day) you should start dropping some weight and noticing a difference pretty soon!

Can i lose weight by doing this? -

If i drink like..ooo.....about 3 bottles of water a day (48oz) and watch my carb and fat load will i lose weight fast? Like 2 lbs a week? o more?

u might not lose 2 pounds a week but it will be healtherand u should be aiming for a healthier body not a lighter body.

If you re overweight (like really over weight) then simple diet changes WILL make you lose weight at first. 2 - 4 pounds a week but if you re at most 10- 20 pounds over these simple diet changes will not help you lose weight fast. In fact, they will keep you at a constant and you have more of a chance of gaining the weight back. Trust me, I did exactly what you did and I gained the weight back once I stopped working out.I suggest exercising along with your diet. 30 minutes a day for 4 days at first and then gradually add on 10 minutes every 2 weeks. I guarantee you will lose weight fast. Cardio is your friend. Try the treadmill, eliptical, cardio dvds (billy blanks is the best!), spinning...whatever you can do, do it!

mm, it depends if it is a big change to your usual eating habits.i think as long as you don t eat BAD fats or carbs, then it s okay. but you still NEED to eat GOOD carbs and fats. yes there s sucha thing. haha. look it up on line. its in seafood and nuts. dont eat too much nuts, but a small handful a day is good for you.and i dont really suppose the carb diets, cuz everyone needs a certain amount of carbs, calories, fats...etc..in their bodies.the 3 bottles of water thing...well..that s like 2 cups per bottle. right? so total is about 6 cups of water a day?...i think that s the least you should be drinking. this is applied to everyone, everyone should drink a lot of water daily. 2lbs a week is pretty big. i dunno. im trying to lose weight also. but...eh, i just loveee food xD haha.you should also exercise.hey you wanna talk?

It s good that you re starting out right and hopefully you re eating a balanced meals; and trust me you don t want to loss the weight the easy way coz you just suffer in the long term ( sorry for lecturing you a bit:( ) a quick way to loss weight is focus on working on your muscles. Muscles need carbohydrates, so they ll absorb any kind of fat and if you eat healthy, you ll see the you, you want to see. To get those muscles work on your abs, arms, and legs by doing things like sit ups, bicep curls, and dips 20-30 minutes and if you have time do at least 20-30 minutes of skipping each day. Throwing food away is not good way. But u should eat healthy food,fruit, and vegie. don t eat fatty food. if u can eat fruit like apple for ur dinner. Do exercise about 1hr a day. Swimming is also the best way to lose weight. Running can lose weight within a few days. Leave ur car behind and walk if possible.
