No weight loss plan, pill, or machine is going to work if you don t work it. What I mean, by that, is that fitness is an attitude, not a program. Since I adopted the mentality of Eat to live, don t live to eat , my weight has come down and my diabetes has reversed to the extent that I no longer need any medication. I follow a blend of the lifestyles recommended by Dr. Fuhrman and Dr. McDougall (links below). I also walk a minimum of a half hour a day. I ve lost fifty pounds while doing so. My weight has stabilized at the ideal BMI of 166 no matter how much or how little I eat. I just make sure that what I eat has a high nutrition to calorie ratio. That just means that I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Here s more:Heres all you need to lose weight all over, look good, and get really healthy. First, you have to realize there is no quick, long lasting weight loss plan or pill that is going to do the trick. Its purely mental. You have to learn to Eat to live, dont live to eat. Sounds simple, doesnt it? It is, if you understand that you are going to be reprogramming how you think about eating for the next few weeks. Old habits die hard, right? Not really. You get rid of bad habits by replacing them with good habits. If you learn to count your Calories, keep Calorie intake lower than output, exercise moderately, and eat only healthy food, you will lose weight. Thats a fact. All it takes is repetition. All success stories have this in common: The successful folks among us know how to be patient, persistent, and consistent. Set a goal, write it down, and stick with it. The benefits of feeling good will outweigh any sense of sacrifice you might feel about having to push away that cake and ice cream. Has anyone used the HP weight loss program from Indiadiets.com? -
Hi. Im currently fifteen years old. I am about 60 kg which is about 133 pounds. I am like 177 cm..? -
you really don t need to lose weight. You are fine just the way you are.
Well, I heard that if you exersise in the morning before you eat you lose more weight than any other time. This is how it works: When you exercise after you eat, you have carbohydrates in your body and instead of burning fat, you burn those carbs. But in the morning before you eat, you have no carbs so your body is FORCED to use that fat. After that you need to eat a healthy breakfast. When you eat breakfast it s like adding fuel to the fire.
I know you dont want to hear this, but I ll tell you anyways. You shouldn t be loosing weight at your age. You re still not done growing. Your body needs all the fat it can get to help you grow, and stay healthy. Give it a few years and you ll see you ll grow into your weight. As for modelling, if they can t appreciate you for the beautiful girl you must be, then it s so not worth it.
Is GNC 7 day weight loss an effective product? -
I would not say they are a scam.. I would just say that is not the healthy way to lose weight. What is easier is rarely healthier. These products will make some people lose weight, and they may kill some other people. I have read and heard some horror stories about those products..Eat well, and exercise..I bet your wife would not have a problem with that.. Check out this great weight loss program...
To answer your question I would say no. To tell you an effective way to lose weight I would need some more information, Depending on your body-fat level the method to loose weight is different. If you are lean 15% or less I would recommend a CKD (Cyclic Ketogenic Diet) http://www.scivationbooks.com/gameover.htm Scivation has a great free e-book on this. Now If you are high body-fat I would recommend simply following a hypo-caloric zone diet (40-30-30) This means 40 % Carbohydrate, 30 % protein, 30% fat.Eat 6 meals through out the day First 3 Carb+Protein MealsLast 3 Protein + Fat mealsMake sure you get mostly good fats, Peanut butter, Eggs, Olive Oil. Monounsaturated, Polyunsaturated. Keep saturated fats minimal. All low Gi Carbs such as, Oats, Brown Rice, Sweet potatoes. And all protein from lean sources such as Tuna, Chicken (White Meat), Turkey, Whey Protein, Egg whites.http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htmIf you are interested in taking a thermogenic product I would recommend you go to bodybuilding.com and do some research...I personally make my own, with 200-mg caffeine, 3 grams L-Carnitine, 600-mg Green Tea extract, and 20-mg Synephrine. I take the whole stack twice daily 45 min before 2 meals. I would also recommend you take a multivitamin/multi-mineral As for Cardio, I personally use Tabata training, however this might not be for you. If you are out of shape I would recommend starting with 45 min of Cardio at 50% Vo2 Max (Link To Calculator at bottom)3 times a week.http://www.concept2.com/us/interactive/calculators/vo2max.aspBest Of Luck To You!
I just discovered this gadget given to me by a pharmaceutical company which has been sitting on my bathroom floor together with my bathroom scale. Its actually an innocent looking small round disc shaped exercise gadget that can make you move in one place anywhere anytime. This device is an innovative and a safe home fitness device that is made of a strong plastic platform that allows you to produce an intensive rotating movement when standing on it. It allows you to move sideways without stressing your back. It is small but actually durable enough to withstand our weight and still allows our whole body to move sideways freely. It is suited for individuals who are lazy enough to change to a sports attire and drive to a gym. Great for people who wants a home fitness equipment that can give one a great aerobic exercise program. And since it is small and light weight, it can be carried inside a backpack and used anywhere, anytime!I am now a great fan of this gadget. I started using it during one rainy day and just missed my daily walking regimen. So as not to give an excuse to not doing my routine, I grabbed my iPod, stepped on the disc and started twisting. And to my amazement I enjoyed it without having to change my boxer shorts and kamiseta. And to think, I was able to exercise even if it was raining outside.I thought of writing about it after Ive been doing this regimen for quite sometime. I have to make sure it serves its purpose without giving me the muscle aches from the twisting that you have to do. I do few twists in the morning with my sit-ups before I take a bath then my full routine in the afternoon alternating it with my walking exercise and swimming. Again no more excuses that it is raining or the usual excuse that my knees hurt when I walk.Heres One small lightweight gadget that I strongly recommend. It can help anyone keep fit and healthy and likewise help one lose weight while having funhttp://www.weightlossdisc.com

Has anyone had results with Reliv weight loss program, Slimplicity? -
I own a health and nutrition business and have taught fitness. Here is the long answer to your question. When I was first told about Reliv, I was very concerned that it might be a scam and spent three months researching it before I would let my friend talk to me about it, as I was afraid he might be getting himself into something where he might get hurt. Here is what I found.Reliv is a nutritional supplement which the body interprets as food - what they call optimal nutrition. It is in a powder form, but taken as a liquid, and 98% of it is absorbed directly into the bloodstream within just a few minutes minutes of ingestion when taken correctly. This company holds, I believe, 5 or 6 United States patents on their products, of the 13 that the US patent office has issued on food products in their entire history for all companies combined. Basically, the FDA says that in food supplements, only 30% of what they say on the bottle is in the product actually has to be in the product when sold, and of that, usually only 30% or less is actually absorbed into the body. With a US patent on the product however, that means that 100% of what they say is in the product actually has to be in the product - and you have the added benefit of 98% of that being delivered to the bloodstream within a very short period of time. Additionally, to have that patent, they have to prove that what they have is different and unique from anything else on the market, and they have to prove that it works - although the company itself makes no health claims, because the body is the miracle, and when you deliver optimal nutrition to the body, the body knows itself what to do with that nutrition.Because of the way it has been developed, with a perfect balance, bioavailability and synergy, and because the body recognizes it as food, and not just as a salad of vitmins that someone put together, (or a juice ) it has a much better chance of giving the body it s best chance at optimal health. I am not trying to make health claims here - and the company makes no health claims - but when you put the right things into the body, the body knows what to do with it!The Reliv company - a food science company - is a 21 year old company with an excellent business reputation, and which has never had a lawsuit. They produce high quality products, are listed on the NASDAQ, and have been recognized by major publications such as Fortune, Forbes, Business Week and Success From Home as one of the top 100 best run businesses, and one of the top 100 hot growth companies. They are sold in 15 countries.I have taken this supplement for a while now with excellent results. Debilitating carpal tunnel and painful joint issues in my left hand have completely disappeared; my husband, who thought he was going to have ANOTHER surgery in his shoulder instead avoided having to have it and is now pain free; my 85 year old mother in law, who had severe arthritis in her hands, is also pain free, her cholesterol has come down 64 points in since November 2007 and she has lost 45 pounds. My son uses this product for his athletic training and has reported increased energy and stamina.Interestingly enough, while vitamin supplements - even your children s Flinstone vitamins - all have health warnings on them, Reliv products are so safe that they carry no health warnings, are given even to babies in their bottles and in feeding tubes for people in the hospital with no adverse effects. There is nothing I have seen safer nor more easily assimilated into our bodies than these products.I ve been trying various supplements for over 35 years, and have never seen anything that has given us the life changing results that these supplements have. If someone is talking to you about them, I hope you will give them your ear and let them connect you to some people who can share their testimonies with you. You are looking at weight loss. There are hundreds of people who have lost weight on these products, and whomever is talking to you about these products can connect you to many of them to get real life - not just an internet testimony - as well as some personal consultation on how they used these products to achieve that success. There is an incredible weight loss support system within Reliv for those willing to utilize it. Doing so, by the way, is the best way you can investigate Reliv, because you are talking to real people, not just some recording or something written on a website, and so you can hear real experiences and ask questions directly from them.We have been delighted with what these products have done for us and never want to be off them!
yes it works!!!!!!!!

Is liposuction the way to go for weight loss? -
Good luck, if you plan on liposuction! I would never even think of it (but I m completely terrified of needles). Here s a page on the different procedures http://www.liposuction-costs.com/liposuction-procedure.html (ahhhhh). I m a believer of hard work, and not taking the easy path to anything. Being committed to exercise just 3 times a week and sticking to low fat foods, I can t see how anyone can t lose weight. I lost 15 pounds in 6 months doing this. No pills, no depriving myself, no liposuction. Just treadmill or bike 30 minutes a day, 3 times a week, and adjusted my eating habits a little. I would reward myself once every weekend with some kind of junk food (a chocolate bar, cheeseburger, milkshake...). Here s another site that discusses natural weight loss http://www.analyzing-weight-loss.com/.
its okay as long as the extra skin gets removed as well, cause with nothing to fill it its just going to sag or hang off your body.
No....it should be used as a last resort, try to lose weight naturally.Healthy Weight Loss : Start right awayhttp://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1586.Helpful Tips to lose weighthttp://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1597.The Best Weight Loss Programhttp://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1605.Sleep well and Lose weighthttp://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1603.10 tips to maximize your metabolism.http://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1601.7 Things you need to know about losing fathttp://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1590.6 dieting tips to lose weighthttp://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1573.
It certainly is one of the quickest ways. However, it is quite expensive, comparatively speaking. Get ready for a large ($$$) bill!
Have you tried natural Hormone therapy coupled withglandular therapy? Have you read NourishingTraditions? If you have not done these thing thenI challege you to do them and read. These are not crash diets, and there are no counting caloriesjust natural food that your body was meant to have.BTW i would bet the FARM that you have a hormonaldisorder that is making it hard for you to lose anything.Get support for your endocrine glands...
NO! stop being lazy and get off your fat *** and MOVE! don t use a program, start exercising more. i know its hard and takes lot of self discipline, but liposuction doesn t prevent it from all coming back if you don t change your mentions!!
No, you will gain the weight right back as your body will harvest food as soon you lose it after surgery.
liposuction is not a good way to lose weight. I have a friend of mine who applied for that and she just looks terrible. She is 300 pounds overweight and after the surgery, the flabs of skin are huge. I lift one of the flabs and it felt disgusting. It made her image a total wreckI recommend you not do the procedure.
a painful way to get a temporary result.
well, you shouldn y try it because it is not right. it s just sucking all the fat off you. try another excersize program. have you tried curves?
It is certainly the easiest way. However, scientists have shown that having fat removed by liposuction does NOT produce the extact same results as dieting. When you have liposuction done, your risk of certain weight-related diseases does NOT drop, whereas if you diet, your risk DOES drop.Strange and depressing. Plus the price of liposuction is no small matter.Personally, I would go with the liposuction anyway, and I would still try to change my eating habits just to be on the safe side. Good luck!
If you are 30 pounds overweight--then liposuction will help you.If you are more than 100 pounds overweight-then obesity surgery like lapband or gastric bypass surgery will help you..my cousin got her lap band surgery in India last year--and lost 110 pounds in 1 year--and this year she got her tummy tuck surgery done to get rid of loose skin hanging.her treatment wasarranged by the forerunners healthcre company---India is very cheap and safe for these surgeries.hope this helps.http://www.forerunnershealthcare.com
NO!!Liposuction is major surgery. There is an increased chance of blood clots and all other risks associated with surgery. Unless you change your lifestyle to include a better diet and excercise, the weight will not stay off.
Have you tried ShapeWorks? I have lost 6 lbs and 7.25 inches in my fisrt week. My dad lost 9 lbs his first week. One of my friends lost 60 lbs his first month. Everyone is different. Go to www.beaturlbs.com for more infoYou cannot find these in stores.Email me if you have any questions.
Expect to gain weight in other areas. Fat cells are done being made by the time you are in your teens. So if you have those fat cells sucked out of your body the extra calories that increase the size of your fat cells have to go somewhere else, so they go to what is left. For example, if you have a large belly but a small butt and you have liposuction on your belly, in the next couple years you might notice that your butt is getting huge. That is because the fat cells in your stomach that used to absorb the extra calories aren t there anymore.
exercise
Geesh, people can be so judgemental, can t they? Obviously either people who ve never had a weight problem, or the converted (I can never decide which is worse). I ve struggled with my weight for a good portion of my adult life. From about 16 my weight yo-yo d up and down from being unhealthily underweight to unhealthily overweight. My wardrobe had every size in it from a 6 to a 20. I ve done every diet going and never seemed to get anywhere for very long (except for those times when I literally was too poor to be able to eat more than one meal a day - which is NOT a healthy way to lose weight!)Finally I found a program that worked! They are out there. There are successful ways of losing weight, but it s never a miracle solution. It always requires work.I m not going to go down the route of explaning to you the 101 things you can do to try and lose weight, because that s not what you asked for. You asked for information about liposuction. If you are serious about considering it, go and talk to your doctor. Yes, you will lose weight overnight. But... it s not perfect. You don t come out looking like Cindy Crawford. You will come out with excess skin (which depending on how much fat you are having suctioned may mean you need surgery to remove it). The immediate affect (after the swelling and bruising has gone) is also very lumpy. Until your body starts to metabolise the fat, it doesn t look slim and slender, it looks like a sack of potatoes. The immediate side affects: there will be pain, there will be bruising and swelling. Depending on how many incisions are made, how much fat is removed and how well the procedure goes, there may be a lot of drainage, possibility of infection and scarring.Liposuction is actually most effective on, Normal-weight people with firm, elastic skin who have pockets of excess fat in certain areas. This is a really good site for information about it: http://www.e-liposuction.com/If you do decide to proceed with liposuction, the most important thing to do is talk to a dietician. Get some sound advice on how to adjust your lifestyle AFTER the surgery to ensure you don t regain the weight. The choice is yours. It s not for me personally, but that doesn t mean it s not a viable option.
well i think you should try your hardest exercise as much as you can but still even when you lose weight, for being heavy, you get access skin which you cant help only by gettin surgery done. so you do what you think is right. good luck!
