I want to lose 30 lbs before school starts again. what are some things that can help lose weight fast? -

OK heres the misconception:if you eat less youl weigh less. Well this isn t going to work mostly because it causes your metabolism to crash. Also if you go on a fad diet you arnt getting what your body needs which stresses it into holding weight.I would follow the abs diet it worked for me and about 5 of my friends each losing at least 20 pounds FAST. What makes it different is that you eat to raise you fat burning muscle and to raise your metabolism. If you eat the right things and feed your body every couple of hours you will not store fat. Also I would drink exactly 16 ounces of water first thing outta bed before you eat it raises your metabolism by 24 percent for 90 minutes. I am 13 (14 in october) and over the summer holidays i would like to lose 1 or 2 stone i play rugby am 5 11 13st. need to get back in shape would prefer to have vigorous exercise than eating healthy any suggestions? i have dumbells and exercise bike and ��60 put back for exercise equipment

Firstly you can lose as much weight as you want in a short time period, however, you will gain it back. I am speaking from experience from someone who has been there done that with fad diets. There is the obvious liposuction, however, the recovery time is 3 �C 6 months and it sounds as though that you��re in a rush to lose the weight for possibly an event with no downtime to spare. I am and have been on weight watchers for 2 years and lost 25 lbs. It was a slow and steady race, however, I haven��t gained the weight back ��cause my diet has been stabilized and so was the weight loss from 0.5 �C 1 lb/week. Remember the weight gain didn��t happen overnight, it happened slowly over time, the same is with proper healthy weight loss, you can��t have/perform miracles over night. These are some things that I do.1.Drink lots of water as it kept me full longer. 2.Used an appetite suppressant like hoodie to make sure I don��t go over my daily calorie intake. 3.Did cardio and toning 3 �C 4 times a week. 4.Made meal and recipe modifications as I cooked. 5.When I dined out, I made sure that I wasn��t shy about asking the kitchen to make modifications like dressing/sauce on the side, half portion ordered the kids meal etc. 6.Brushing teeth after every meal, the mint acts like an appetite suppressant and without the taste in your mouth, you can easily forget about the food. 7.Never drank diet cola, the aspartame actually made me crave food more for some reason. 8.At work I take a break before lunch and either take the stairs in the building or just general toning without weights. We have a gym at work so I do about 15 minutes of weights which not only gets my blood flowing but releases tension from a**hole customers. 9.Bought snacks in bulk (to save money) and properly measured what a cup or portion was and made individual baggies. There are some snacks on the market that are 100 calorie snacks, however, I find those to be too expensive than just buying in bulk and separating the portions yourself. Also by physically separating them yourself, you get an idea of what a portion is supposed to be and you learn to properly eye ball correct portions.

teens should NOT diet. your body is still growing and may change dramatically. as a younger person you need sufficient nutrition to build a strong body. just eat healthily and exercise

well I m a little older than your age but i had the same problem that you have a few months ago. 1st of all i rode my bike around 15 miles a week but not all at one time and after i rode my bike i walked like around 4 miles which in a week would be like around 12 miles. and everyday after school i would do like 20 to 50 push ups and sit ups. so like in one month a could tell my tummy, thighs, and love handles were getting smaller!! oh and one more thing drink a LOT of water i mean a lot and cut down on any fating foods!!!

Not to be negative but, I am 14 and I have the same problem I have a potbelly, fat thighs and love handles, and I have tried working out it has not helped. I is really hard to lose a few pounds.

im 14 too and i tend to lose about 7 pounds or so over the summer from swimming. i wasnt on a diet either so i think swimming burns a ton of calories!

A lot has to do with eating a balanced diet as well. I excercised my butt off with no results and then I changed my eating habits which included less processed foods, more fruits and veggies and lots of water and the weight is coming off faster than with just excercise alone.

keep doing what youre doing. try to follow a plan, like jenny craug or LA fitness. DO NOT use dieting pills. they increse your heart rate, and a a MAJOR contributor to heart attacks. dont risk your life, please. eat 100 calorie packs and special dieting food. (nutrisystem has tons of that) And keep a food diary. almost every successful story says that they keep a food diary. write down what you ate and how many calories. 1500 should be good for a woman. Using a diary, you could see exactly everything you ate. and run EVERY night, and no snacks in between meals. meals should be a little smaller than normal, too. (:

Keep up the biking and running, make sure your doing it at least 3-5 times a week, and if thats too much, you can just get up and take a brisk walk daily for about an 1/2 to an hour - every little bit helps!Also be sure to eat at least 6 smaller - well balanced meals throughout the day consisting of mainly lean protein (chicken, tofu, beans) and veggies. Continuously providing your body with nutritious and lean food will keep your metabolism going thus speeding up your metabolism meaning you will burn more calories and fat naturally by eating!! Just make sure it is the right food. I also recommend no sweets, or breads - this makes the results come faster!There really isnt a healthy way to lose weight faster, im sure that within a month you will not only see the difference, but feel the difference. Ok, a lot of these people definitely don t know what they re talking about. If you re eating nutritiously, then you just need to run more. 3 miles per week is like nothing. You could lose more calories in a week by having better posture than by running only three miles. You ll have to run a lot more than three miles. Keep in mind that diets don t work. They never have and they never will. Try a mile to two miles a day. Run or walk. Either way, good luck.
