Teen girl weight loss program? -

i m meg and i m using my boyfriends account. so i m 16 years old, and soon i ll be 17. i m going on vacations this summer with my family and another family to florida. i m overweight. right now i m about 150 and we re going in mid june. i would really like to loose 20 pounds. and i think that s realistic since we re leaving in about 14 weeks. it s not like i sit around all day doing nothing, because i am strong (i m kinda a stocky build) and i play soccer. it s just that i m uncomfortable with the amount of body fat that i have. so what are some healthy ways to loose weight? right now it s lent so i m trying to limit my sweets that i eat, but sometimes i just get these cravings. so would having something like a slim-fast that s chocolate or Vanilla flavor for breakfast help with these cravings?

it s hard but join a gym, eat small portions and work out regulary. i m sure you ll be ready for your trip to Florida by june!

Whats the best way to lose weight quickly? -

Do you want to lose it quickly? Or do you want to lose healthy and keep it off? If you lose more than 2 lbs a week it is very unhealthy for you and chances are the weight will come back with a vengeance ... and then some! If you are interested in keeping it off please do it in a healthy way. Count your calories, exercise daily, eat 5 fruits and veggies daily, drink 8 8oz glasses of water a day. If you do these things you will have a healthy lifestyle that you can maintain for the rest of your life which I think should be the ultimate goal.

How quick is quick? If you lose weight too fast then it might not stay off. Usually you want to lose approximately 2-5 pounds per week. Continue to eat moderate portions and exercise consistently.

Cut back calories and exercise.

Good excersize, dieting plan for 19 year old? -

I weigh 145 and im 5 7. I want to lose 20 pounds, 30 if I m lucky. I never excersize and i realize that is going to be the main way i lose weight. I want to lose weight by May, or the end of may. Can someone please give me some tips on what to do to lose weight quickly? i know i have to eat healthy, but excerside tips? i just began hula hooping because i heard it was a great work out. Any suggestions? i need to lose this weight, im going on a cruise this summer, and i want to be able to walk around in a bikini and feel comfortable. This is the biggest ive ever been in my life. I am a sophmore in college, and my freshman year i literally gained like 20 pounds. Please help! Thanks guys. No rude comments please!!! 3

The Freshman 15 rears its ugly head.Just get in some regular exercise...and intensive cardio workout will do. You can look them up online. Make use of the school s fitness center and do intervals on the elliptical machine. Better yet, use the track and do some running. Whatever you do, don t get tempted by that dining hall food. Most of it is terrible for you. It will take alot of willpower to resist the temptation but just think about how great you ll look and feel in a few months.

eat a well balanced diet with proper portions, drink plenty of water and get at least 30 minutes of exercise every day. you can do just about anything for exercise. any movement that gets you breathing harder will help burn calories. go for a brisk walk, ride a bicycle, clean house, go swimming, take aerobics or rent a DVD, put on some music and dance!

Teenager weight loss program? -

hey guys..im 15 years old (female) and i weigh around 130 pounds...and im only 5 1...i need a GOOD weight loss programm and i need to lose at least 10 pounds by summer =/ please pleaseee helppp mee... i want to stop crying every time i m in a fitting room and the cloth i really like won t fit me or juss won t go on me because of my height/weight..please help me! provide me with some exercise and a diet plan i could work with ...and just to note..i have an ab lounge ultra and the exercising machine (the one where you push/lift/pull weights) ..thank you so much

Eveyone is different but I lost a lot of weight when I decreased my calories and increased cardio exercise.Hope that helps,Clint

Okay, you have the rest of this month and all of next month before June. I would cut out everything you know is very fattening and is just empty calories - no nutritional benefits. I m talking about pie, cake, cookies, french fries, milkshakes, candy, etc., etc. Always have breakfast- a bowl of cereal with 2% milk and no sugar- just some sliced strawberries or a banana on top, a glass of juice, and a slice of toast (whole grain or whole wheat is best), dry, or with a very small amount of margarine. If you want a snack mid-morning have fruit or maybe some cut up veggies dipped in fat free dressing. Lunch can be tuna salad made with fat free mayonnaise on whole grain bread, with lettuce. For dinner, have a big salad with lots of good veggies and some diced up ham or turkey. Chicken is a good choice also-not fried, and with the skin removed, or baked fish. Eat lots of fruits, whole grains and veggies. Try to drink 8 bottles of water a day. If you don t like plain water, buy some of those Crystal Light on-the-go packets- they are pre-measured. Just open and pour into a water bottle, and shake it up. The Raspberry ice is my favorite. Not sure what to advise you as to exercise, except to say that walking and bike riding are fun and burn calories too. Good luck, sweetie- you can do it!

If you have the ab lounge booklet that came with it and the exercising machine use those as a base line for exercises...A healthy diet would to look at Weight Watchers.... and/or South Beach.....

First off start by visiting your physician and asking them what types of diets are good for someone your age. Also cut down on sugary, greasey, cheesey foods and start eating more veggies, and whole grains. Also cutting out soda from your regular diet as well as coffee(Well, no more than one cup a day)can be a big help. As far as clothing, find clothes that fit your body type and not just everyone else s...I don t know if they have Lane Bryant stores where you live, but check them out they have some awesome styles in there! The clothing there is for larger, or curvier women. Trust me on the cutting out soda and coffee thing though, I did it for about three weeks and lost at least 15LBs. Everyone s metabolism is different, so you may want to consult your doctor and find out about your s and see if there are any tips he or she can give you. As for excersise, start off with walking/light tredmill for about 30 mins-and hour a day...keep hydrated with lots of water and iced tea throughout the day. (Try to find decaf iced teas otherwise you will have a caffine buzz.) But if you really want a GOOD diet taylored to YOU you should really talk to your doctor.

Losing weight quickly.? -

my boyfriend i would like to lose 10-15 pounds by November 30th, today is November 3rd. I know people can do this, we just need something to motivate us to keep going.. we need advice on what to do.

Here are a few tips;WHEN to eat for losing weight... ? Eat (at least) three times a day. Because when you eat only once a day, your metabolism gets slower than it already is! That s the main reason. Sounds funny, but to lose weight... you must eat (the right things, of course) ? Eat low-fat, high-fiber foods such as salads and vegetable pastas.? Your last meal should be before 18:00. Try. OK, one apple after 18:00 ? Don t starve Starvation is not good for losing weight, nor your health. Starvation is the worse thing you can do in a weight loss diet. ? Try oatmeal instead of cornflakes for breakfast--eating oatmeal can help reduce cholesterol levels, and its high fiber content will keep you full longer.WHAT to drink for losing weight... ? Drink 6-8 glasses of water every day ! Can be tap, plain, mineral, sparkling. I just love mineral sparkling water! This improves your bowel, reduces the hunger sensation, and hydrates your skin. Your skin will look much better after the first weeks! Don t believe the slogan water makes me fat . Beside being stupid... you might get into serious troubles with your kidneys. ? Drink ONLY natural juices, freshly squeezed! Don t drink Coca Cola, Pepsi, Spite etc. during the diet. Even lite or light versions. ? Avoid those vending machines by carrying around your own healthful foods and leaving pocket change at home.Exercise for losing weight... ? If you want quicker results - exercise would be good. ? Don t just sit in front of the TV and eat peanuts... I guarantee THIS won t work for your weight loss... ? Start a regular exercise program and stick with it. Don t be afraid of those sweat suits and Lycra pants! ? Start swimming. Swimming is an excellent exercise to get involved with, since it increases blood flow and uses muscles we don t regularly use. Start a swimming program and try to do it 3 times a week. You will feel excellent and rejuvenated.? Choose an exercise program that you enjoy, and don t shun the unconventional. For instance, did you know that regular vigorous dancing is exercise too?? Also Cardiovascular exercises such as running, jogging, or aerobics will help you lose that unwanted belly fat. Weight training can also help you lose body fat because the more muscle mass you have, the more ability your system has to burn body fat.Good luck!

When I came home from camp, I weighted 129 lbs. I used to weigh 116 lbs. My doctor told me to drink Aquafina Flavor Splash! It has no calories, 0 sugars. NOTHING!!! I drank it at least 3 or 4 times a day! Just continue to eat whatever u eat, but drink the water!!! with breakfast, lunch and dinner and in the middle of the day when ur thirsty. It totally fills u up!!! I started to drink it in OCT of last year, by the time DEC, JAN rolled in, I weight 125lbs. now I weight at least between 120-123 lbs. and i still eat junk food at school!! Can someone make me a weight loss program? -

I want to lose weight the right way but I need help. This is what I been eating, Breakfast: Special K and fruit and drinking grapefruit juice, snack: maybe fruit or half a PB J sandwich, Lunch: Whats ever left over from dinner( small portion) snack: fruit or half a PB J sandwich, Dinner: either cereal or whats ever for dinner.I catch the bus to work and I get off a few stop to walk the rest of the way 3 days a week which is about 2-3 blocks and coming home I walk about 1-2 blocks to and from bus stop, I haven t start exercising yet but I plan to work out maybe 3-4 days a week I have Billy Blanks boot camp videos. I need someone with experience or have lost weight doing a certain plan I don t have a lot of money to go out and buy a lot of stuff to help me so Im trying to work with the food I usually have at home. After I had my first child, I started doing circuit training in my living room. It s just a series short-burst (30-60 seconds) exercises with no rest in-between (to keep up your heart rate) Circuit training is the absolute best way to lose weight because it combines cardio with weight training and works out your entire body. If you go the full-body route, make sure you rest every other day. If you want a daily workout, just exercise your upper body on Monday, lower on Tuesday, abs on Wednesday, etc. (rotate) I d start out with 10-12 exercises, 30 seconds each in one circuit. If you feel you can repeat the circuit, repeat. Work your way to adding more exercises, for longer periods of time, and possibly repeating an entire circuit. The variety helps with boredom and for people who can stand to be on a treadmill for 30 minutes straight. I am 14, and male. I moved to France from the USA in August. In the US, I weighed 150lbs, now since moving here I ve been losing weight quickly and I am now aproximatly 130lbs. I am constantly hungry, even though i get something to eat every 30min or so. Is there something wrong?

French food is generally much lighter and healthier than American food. Keep a caloric journal of everything you eat before seeing a doctor.

well sounds pretty normal for a 14 year old. your body is changing... dropping baby fat and teen boys usualy eat you out of house!
