I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me. Hun, I am on my way to losing 60 pounds and I have already lost 20 in my first month and a half! short of losing a limb or organ, you have to be patient. exercise is important so prepare to sweat for a lot of cardio to burn fat if you want to lose faster 90 mins of it, although, it depends on your current health, always consult your doctor before taking on a program. do weight training to tone and increase strength and metabolism. 6 small meals is a good idea to keep your body burning fuel all day. Don t eat late, 7pm is a good rule, or 3h before bed. You need to burn more calories than you take in, I believe another answerer added links to calorie estimation websites, this is only an estimate of your needs. I suggest a website called sparkpeople.com . it is free and will help you find your personal goals and track daily progress, meals, and exercise. I also do the master cleanse, it is intense you have to have a lot of willpower to complete it. it is not really meant for weight loss, it is internal cleansing/ detox and basically a minimum of 10 days fast, but a perk is weight loss. The fastest way I know to lose weight is the 5-4-3-2-1 diet. You would eat all the same things that your mom prepares but in smaller amounts. You would have to behave like someone who had gastric bypass and just cut small bites and move them around on your plate so that it appears that you re eating a lot. The key though, is to eat enough so that you don t cause your metabolism to become sluggish. If that happens, then you won t be losing weight very quickly. You must eat very healthy foods, so request that your mom prepares lean protein, veggies, fruit, whole-grains, low fat dairy, etc. In fact, by talking to your mom about wanting to eat healthy, you might get her on your side. She can t possibly find fault with that--she obviously just doesn t agree with your assessment that you need to lose weight.

Hi Britt,That s kind of a hard question to answer, almost seems like a too good to be true situation. But I will give you some information that I think will be helpful.There is so much false information going around about weight loss. Some is decent advice but most of it is horrible.The most important thing for fat loss, is that your diet is as natural and unprocessed as possible. It almost always comes back to the over processing of food that makes it bad for you, and makes it totally destroy your metabolism and hormone balance in your body. For example, why eat refined grains, when you can eat whole grains. Why eat refined sugar, when you can get natural sources of sugar from a high nutrient whole food like fruit. Why eat highly processed, refined, and hydrogenated vegetable oils (these are THE worst thing in the modern diet), when you can eat natural sources of healthy fats like nuts, avocados, fish, eggs, coconut milk, organically raised meat, and so forth. The point is to not fall for some gimmick like low carbs, low fat, high protein, or any other combination that has you focusing on one macronutrient vs. another. Your body needs all macronutrients to thrive and obtain a variety of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, etc. Trying to cut an entire food group out just works against what your body needs.Just be persistent, set goals, make little changes and stick with them. Don t count calories, it will drive you crazy. Just stop eating when your satisfied. You will get to where you want to be. You really have to want it, I did, and I m at my goal weight now. Is there a way i can lose weight fast in a healthy way? -
To lose weight (fat), include more fibrous slow digesting carbs, as opp. to the fast digesting ones. No white breads, fast foods, sodas (not even diet) no ketchups, sugar, only skim milk, not 2%, skim and whole grain non sweet (sugary) cereal, whole wheat bread, maybe buy some soy or whey protein.Include lean meats like ham, and other sources of protein. Avoid red meats. Take a multivitamin, calcium and vitamin d every 2 days, one or two V8s a day (or every other day). Don t starve, eat small healthy meals. A lot of small meals opposed to a few bigger ones-- make sure is has at least 8-10 or more g of protein, not too much protein because the body can only digest a certain amount at a time; and avoid too many fruits, carbs and sugars. Fibrous veggies, greens (no starches or potatoes) are good, and no BBQ sauce (unless used sparingly) and not too much (if any) salad dressing. Before bed (2 hrs), eat something with protein, don teat many carbs before bed. Eat some of that good cereal in the morning, you need quality carbs, just not too much, and the slow digesting ones.Do slow crunches until you can not do anymore, jog stairs (be safe though), warm up first and do sprints, short bursts of intense activity is very effective compared to long weak activity, just don t over do it. Also include some slow but long endurance jogging. Be active!Jog stairs ;and also do some lunges until it burns, do this every day or 2 days, keep going and don t give up, same with eating, you need some fat, so one or two fish oils daily.Eat fish (not fried, be careful, very careful for bones) Peanut butter on whole wheat (no jelly), which has protein, and don��t worry about the fat in that. Avocados, has fat, good fat; eat it when your hunger cravings get you. When you do crunches, also twist on some to work your sides, keep tension on your abs. I used to be twelve. Trust me, I was thinking about weight then, too. In fact, most people who criticize you for worrying about it at your age probably worried about it then, too. Don t worry about it. You are a soon-to-be teenage girl; no one can blame you for wanting to tone up your stomach. You are doing the right thing by getting at least an hour of exercise everyday. Crunches are very good for your stomach. Walking is a very good exercise for your legs, too. Sit-ups are VITAL when losing weight in the stomach. I know that everyone says it, but It s true! Why do you think everyone says it? Doing a larger amount of Sit-ups and crunches every night, along with walking, will give you small, but satisfying results. Be sure to be doing cardio and areobic exercises often, because not only will they both be extremely helpful in the process of losing some weight, but they will make your body so much healthier! And, I know you are targeting your stomach. But honestly, when you lose weight, you lose it everywhere! Some exercises target the stomach area more than others, but the honest truth is that when you exercise, weight will be lost in all places. And the last thing I will say is this: EAT RIGHT! Eat tons of Fruits and veggies. If you rarely have Veggies or fruit in your house (or fruits and veggies you do not like,) tell your mom or dad to go buy some. Or go buy some yourself! =] Cut down the amount of red meat you eat, and in all, cut down the amount of ALL meat you eat. Be sure to drink plenty of water, and take deep breathes throughout the day. It may sound weird, but it has been proven that a person who inhales more oxygen throughout the day, sheds more calories. And one more source of help: Keep a food journal! Write down EVERYTHING you are eating throughout the day. As easy as it sounds right now, it may prove itself to be hard. there is no safe way to lose weight really really fast. I am a dude and i probably lose weight a little easier than women, but i can tell you what i have done and it really worked. You need to do slow steady exercise such as a treadmill or a stationary bike for about 45 minutes to an hour everyday. The rowing machine is also really great it burns more calories than any other machine. You have to go at a relaxed pace that is challenging, but if you go too fast you will actually burn less calories because it will turn into a cardio workout and eventually an anaerobic which won t burn nearly as much fat. you can do less time too it just wont work as quickly. and in addition go to livestrong.com and they have a very effective calorie counter that can help with weight loss goals.the idea is that you decrease calories and increase activity, but be realistic about your goals. And make sure not to skip any meals ever(at least intentionally). When you skip meals your body goes into fat storage mode because it gets afraid that it might not get any more food in a while so it wants to store up fat. if you lose weight to quickly you will just balloon back up. In addition when you get to your goals you have to keep working out and watching what you eat but maybe not as intensely as before. you need to be ready yourself to lose weight and never been talked into it. the best way to lose weight (for yourself) is monitoring your calorie intake. eat lots of wholegrain, fruit and veg, drink lots of water too. diets dont work, you need to change your eating habits permanently. you can still treat yourself sometimes!!!Best of luck.
