Kudos to you for approaching this in such a mature and healthy way! Lowering your portions is a fantastic start, but you may want to reconsider the consistency of eating part. Eating multiple smaller portions is often the best way to lose weight because you re never getting to that point where you re really hungry...that s when most people tend to overeat or reach for an unhealthy quick fix. You should snack on healthy things like fruit and veggies, and keep those with you at all times so you re not tempted when you re on the road. I always have a granola bar or something healthy in my purse so I can avoid temptation. I also started tracking my food and that made a huge difference! By tracking every bite of food (including when you just grab a few nuts or a bite here, a sip here), you realize how little things add up and it helps to develop healthier habits.
