number one, cut out all sugar from your diet.No sodas, no candies, no cakes, ice cream, or cookies.Read all label and don t buy it if sugar has been added.excess sugar in the body stores fatOne can of soda has 23 teaspoons of sugar. Also do what you can to eliminate white flour products, eat whole grain breads only. White flour has no nutrition and is all starch. Starch converts to sugar in digestion and increases your sugar levels and excess sugar stored fat. Also drink plenty of water, the recommended daily amount is 1 gallon a day this includes juice, but not sodas, coffee or tea (unless decaf). Walking at a fast pace is one of the best ways besides swimming to burn alot of calories and tone the entire body.If you walk, start out at 1/2 mile a day for a week then increase to 1 mile for a week then 2 miles.latter you can add a little weight (1/2 to 1 lb) to ankles and wrists to build muscle, if that s your desire.
Swimming is an excellent choice for weight loss! Cardio is the key to effective weight loss, as it burns fat from every part of your body. Swimming WILL melt fat from your stomach and legs, but if you want to tone them up and get them slimmer, you can try running and crunches/sit ups.I personally HATE diets (they control your life and makes you feel frustrated. Nearly everyone that goes on a diet gives up and it actually leads to weight gain due to depression), so I never go on them. However, I am fit and comfortable with my body. Just remember to eat healthier and give up foods such as soda, french fries, fast foods and chips (those are the ONLY foods I stay away from). You can have what you want as a treat (icecream! Chocolate) sometimes, but never eat them constantly and make sure you watch proportions. If you want an actual rule to follow as a plan I would say to eat every few hours but in small proportions. This keeps your metabolism running! Also, be sure to go for the veggies first, so you can get more full off of them before you go for things higher in calories such as carbs and meats.Goodluck (:
