The best tips I can advise you is to drink drink drink plenty of water to flush your system out. 20 mins exercise for 4 day a week will also make the weight drop off you. 1. exercise a minimum of 30 minutes per day2. increase consumption of veggies and fruits.3. lower intake of carbs (switch from white to whole wheat bread) and fats. eat more often with smaller meals as opposed to three large meals a day 4. avoid refined sugars and sodas5. make sure your on a good sleep pattern

First of all weight training does not turn fat into muscle .Anyway...1. Increase your physcial activity. Try using an activity log for one week. Record into this log everything you do (activity/time). You can then convert your activity into calories and compute your average daily calories burned. Then increase your physical activity to increase your calories burned. One of the best methods is good old fashioned exercise. Aerobic exercises (walking, jazzercize, etc) burn more calories while you do them, while anaerobic (weightlifting) activites create more muscle, which in turn raises you resting metabolism (muscle burns more calories than fat). Alternate every other day between aerobic and anaerobic.2. Reduce your caloric intake. Same concept as above, create a food log and record everything you eat for one week. Then convert those foods into calories consumed, and compute your daily average caloric intake. Than you want to reduce the number of calories ingested. This can be accomplished by eating lower calorie foods or reducing your actual food intake.3. Drink lots of water. Drink a minimum of 1 gallon of water every day, more on days you exercise! Drink one tall glass of water before you eat any meal.4. Eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Not the dried or canned stuff. Steaming the veggies is fine, too. Make sure to eat a large salad as you appetizer, but go easy on the dressing. This will help fill you up with healthful foods, before you start on the main dish! Fresh fruits and beggies also make great snacks throughout the day (you should have at least one mid-morning and one mid-afternoon snack every day!).5. Avoid simple sugars and oils and fats. you should focus more on protein, complex carbohydrates, and fiber.

Weight training is the most effective because it turns fat into muscle, you will lose not neccessarily weight but alot of fat, actual weight is irrelevent since a strong person can weigh as much or more than a person will alot of fat, I may be wrong on that since I m no expert but I hope you see the point, eat less fatty and high sugar foods and eat more energy foods and high in protein, definitely eat certain foods to boost your metabolism as well, eatting spicy foods helps as well as drinking alot of water
