Losing 30 lbs by the end of summer would be a little bit unhealthy. It is suggested that you lose no more than 2 lbs a week...Buuuut, to lose weight you need to work on your diet and exercise.Be sure that your diet consists of mostly healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, and grains and doesn t include a lot of sugary, fatty foods like candy, butter, some cheeses, ice cream, etc, etc, etc. Also drink plenty of water throughout the day.You will also need to be exercising very often. Doing cardio workouts (running, biking, swimming, sports, etc.) at least four times a week for at least 30-45 minutes is a good start, IMO. Walking is also a very nifty exercise. You know how your weight often fluctuates on the scale? Walking can actually help keep your weight from fluctuating too high, or so I ve heard. You may also want to try some weight lifting to develop muscle, however, this could end up misleading your weight. If you start to develop muscle but still have the extra fat, you may not see the results yet. And since muscle weighs more than fat, you might actually think you are gaining fatty weight.Be patient because it will take awhile, but if you continue to diet and exercise right you will see the results!Good luck!
