It is great that you have the desire to lose weight. It isn t an easy choice to make, because no matter what you try - in order to be successful - you ll have to make a lifestyle change. Don t believe advertising for any quick fixes. As someone who has struggled with my weight my entire life, I can assure you that bottles of pills or weight loss programs that promise to make you lose weight in a short amount of time DO NOT HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST IN MIND! Very few people are successful in losing weight that way, and most likely did a combination of things to lose the weight, including exercise. One of the easiest things that you can do is to journal all the food you eat every day. Keep track of everything that goes in your mouth - from bacon and eggs to a handful of peanuts. Also note how many calories are in the things you eat. Most of the time you can get it from the nutritional label on the box and when you can t there are great websites that you can use, such as www.calorieking.com. On that website under resources and tools there are tools that help you determine how many calories per day you should be eating to lose weight. Calories are not the only thing you need to watch in order to lose weight, but it is a good start to weight loss that you ll be able to maintain. Writing everything down will help you make healthy choices and actually think about what you eat every day. You ll realize that you can have a piece of cake or ice cream every once in a while, but you ll need to plan that food into your week and make healthy choices the rest of the week. One of the easiest exercises that you can do is to go for a walk. If you get an hour break for lunch, then use 30 minutes to walk and 30 to eat. Try to get 30 minutes of walking 4 times a week and youll see weight loss within a few weeks. Im sure that your mom would love you to be healthier and if you showed her just how serious you are about losing weight, that it might encourage her to do the same. If she wont change her lifestyle and food choices, then youll need to buy some things just for you. Instead of potato chips eat pretzels, keep fresh fruit around, and drink tea w/ artificial sweatener or sugar-free kool-aid instead of soda! Learning to cope with a pantry full of tempting fatty foods is a lesson youll need for the rest of your life. Eventually when you reach your healthy weight youll still be tempted by doughnuts at the office, desserts at restaurants, and candy bars at the checkout line C it is something youll always have to deal with! Learning to budget your calories on a weekly basis will change your life for the better and that is a promise.
my mom drank apple cider vinerger 2 tablespoons with 6 ounces of water before every meal and lost 40 pounds in 6 month without doing no exercise Report Abuse
Have you determined WHY you eat more than you need to? I tend to eat when I am bored. I took a second job to get out of debt and lost 10 lbs without even noticing. If there is a specific trigger to your eating, working on that trigger is the easiest way to change your habits. Report Abuse

Your desire to lose weight should already be enough motivation to lose it.If you don t want to get up and work out, then suffer and be fat your entire life!:D
Walking is always a good way to exercise, and its not too hard either. You could try that. As for the food, thats tough, but if you really want to lose weight badly enough, you wont eat it..
