Why have I only lost 10 lbs and what can I do to lose weight faster? -

I have been working on losing weight the healthy and realistic way since the begining of March. I used to drink soda, eat white bread, a dessert after every meal, and I never worked out, etc. Now I eat wheat wraps (no bread), barely any sweets, and drink water or the mix in crystal lights/propel every day (no soda), etc. I even power walk 5 days a week and am now up to 5+ miles a day.

Firstly I would say that you shouldn t judge this by using your scales. What is more important is not how much you weigh on the scales but how you look or FEEL. It may be that you are effectively turning fat into muscle and muscle is heavier than fat, therefore you may be burning fat but not necessarily losing weight. It is entirely possible for a sprinter to weigh more than someone who is overweight.Secondly, do you know where your weight falls in reference to your BMI? It might be an idea to check.If you do need to use scales to monitor your weight, there are a type of scales that pass an electrode through you and display on the screen what percentage of your weight is actually fat and water. They are extremely useful.Considering the amount of exercise you say you are doing it sounds like you are simply utilisiing your body more effectively and muscle is replacing fat.

i just want to say...im not really an expert because ive hit a plateau as well...but shock your body...if you do the same things all the time your body willget used to it...now the hard part is changing your routine. Im still having trouble and i have 40 lbs to go so i really gotta shock my body every month to get resultsand good job with the fluids...thats really important...it takes time.. nothing will happen vernight and sometimes i wish it would!
