The best way to lose weight fast? -

im 16 and i way 200 pounds most of which is fat. what is the best way for me to lose weight quickly. is jogging and dieting enough. any suggestions would be appreciated, a friend of mine said i dont need to get rid of the fat but that i should lift weights and convert it. is that true. if not what should i be doing

CARDIO3 times a week, 30-45 minutes each time. This can be running, jogging, jump roping, biking, swimming, etc anything that gets your heart pumping at a steady rate. This should get you sweating.NUTRITIONYou need to consume less than you burn. You can do this by eating more frequently (5-6 meals a day) in smaller portions instead of eating big portions (1-3 meals a day) This will get ur metabolism going. Stay away from the obvious, like fried, junk food etc. Eat fruits to make you feel full. ALso eating at a slower rate and taking sips of water between bites help u feel fuller. It takes approximately 20 minutes for your brain to register that you are full after you eat. Yes like the guy above me said, dont forget to eat breakfast, it will help kick start ur metabolismWEIGHT TRAININGYou can use light weight dumbbells and later work your way up to heavier ones. Doing weight training exercises after you do ur cardio will burn more calories/fat. This will also tone you up. Remember if ur not losing weight but feel and look better, then it means that you arent getting fatter but when u work out muscle weighs more than fat. Discipline, dedication, and determination will help you reach your goal. Just stick to it. Ill update with more information if i have forgotten anything

omg dont ever just lift weights. you cant lift weights until you lose all the fat. because if you have muscle mixed with fat, it just makes you look chubby and nasty. dieting and jogging is fine. but dont ever starve yourself, eat three meals a day and ignore bread, sugar, and grease/oils. meat makes you skinny ! ( akins diet ) trust me.my sister lost like SO MUCH weight . like look at lions and tigers in the wild, what do they eat? meat ( deers and stuff )and do they have any fat? no. it works. OKAY .! goodluck ! i m trying to lose a few pounds.... haha. :)

First off, lifting will not convert fat to muscle. This will make you increase in muscle mass but it will not be noticeable because fat lies on top of muscle in our bodies.I guarantee you if you do this you will lose weight: Eat 1,500 - 1,750 calories a day in VERY LOW FAT FOODS.Along with that, jog for 30-45 minutes everyday.You are bound to lose weight.
