Trying to lose weight fast is not safe. The safest you can lose is 1-2 lbs. per week, but if you are new to exercise then it can take 4-6 weeks or longer to lose fat. Just eat a healthy balanced diet, do cardio 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes a day and add some weight training 3 times a week to start. Take vitamins while fasting. And get plenty of rest, when you sleep your body forces you into a fast and cleanses your body as best it can anyways. Ideally a 3 day fast is the best way to start, followed by a healthy changed in appetite and lifestyle following.
