And eat lots of FRESH fruits and vegetables and drink lots of water.

I m the same way right now, trying to lose some weight. You should definitely avoid sweets. I know its hard to leave the good yummy stuff. My cousin lost like 30 pounds in a month (according to her supposedly but she did lose alot of weight) she was going to the gym everyday, she did exercise 2 hours a day. She ate salad or plain lettuce with lemon for dinner each day. Reduce eating meat each day try eating it once or only twice a week. Don t skip your 3 meals, thats very important.
