1200 calories or less a day works great. Lots of water if you dont like water crystal light makes great flavors for water with only 5 calories and walmart has a great off brand that has no calories. I like the walmart brand better ,eat lots of fruit and the water will fill u up quick if you drink alot also look for a good over the counter water pill. Good luck

Hi Kris,I read in one of the comments that you should keep a low fat, low carb diet. I m not sure if this is a good advice to stay healthy in long terms. I just stumbled over a page that mentioned a very interesting study on this (1).I also found another interesting info you also should consider under (2). There it says for example:Vitamins A, D, E, and K can only be absorbed if there s fat in a person s diet and that fats are the building blocks of hormones and much more.What about low carb?The Wikipedia says Dr. Robert Eckel of the American Heart Association says that high-protein, low-carbohydrate diets put people at risk of heart disease (3).I guess the weight loss in the comment above resulted manly in the exercises that have been done, which definitely IS a good idea ;-)Please Kris, think in long terms, losing weight too fast is always risky and especially NOT LASTING (- Yo-Yo effect).
