How to lose weight in 2 weeks? -

its the easter school holidays, im 13 and im not hugely fat but i want to lose weight/gain muscle by the end of the spring break. any tips?

Try the Lil Jack exercise video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezr it really works

To gain muscles you need to lift weights. It would also help burn calories as any physical activity does. And to lose weight, eat Negative Calorie Foods . Negative Calorie Foods are those kinds of food that uses up more energy than the calories they provide so, the net effect is negative(less than zero) calories added to the body. So, you can eat more and still lose weight.Examples of these kinds of food are: asparagus, beet, broccoli, green cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, celery, chili pepper, cucumber, dandelion, endive, garlic, green beans, zucchini, onion, radishes; and for fruits: apple, cranberries, grapefruit, lemon, mango, orange, pineapple, raspberries, strawberries, tangerine, papaya. These foods are also called fat-burners. They metabolize the calories from even the other foods you eat. More info from source: http://loseweightsite.net

How to lose weight and a good diet from experience? -

What are the best exercises to lose weight especially in the thighs and stomach? I need all the help I can get, I m trying to go from 195 to 150 or 145 in 3 to 4 months. I m a female that is 5 5 also.

1 Dietary control and exercise. Its true what they say - all you need to do is watch what you eat, and expend more energy than you consume. Its really that simple. You can quit reading this list now, you now know everything you need to know and didnt need to fork over $500 for the privilege of me telling you the secret of losing weight. You dont need to read a 4,000 page book, you dont have to buy a tape series, you dont need to stay up late at night to watch infomercials to understand this basic premise. Its 100% true.2 Change your lifestyle. If youre calling this a diet, then youre going to gain all the weight back (and more) within a few months of losing it. Diets do not work. Diets are temporary. When you change your dietary lifestyle, however, youre changing your habits - and youre putting yourself on track for long-term / continued success and weight maintenance. Dont ever tell anybody youre on a diet - ever. Im speaking from experience, here - a reformed low-carber. Worked out well for a while, but ultimately failed because my entire lifestyle didnt change (permanently).3 Join an online support group. In my case, I created my own - FatBlasters. Its essential that you not feel alone, and reaching out to friends (new or old) is typically a smart move. I just heard about PeetTrainer, but didnt know about it when I began down the road to weight loss. You have to know that others are out there for moral support - they know things that you couldnt possibly know, and theyve probably been in your shoes at some point in the past (or present). Share stories, laughter, tears, successes, and failures - share them. There are thousands of communities out there, so keep looking until you find the one that fits you.4 Take before and after photos. I know it sucks to see yourself as a chunky monkey (sorry, thats what I called myself - if only to get myself motivated to meet my weight loss goal). However, theres no easier way to illustrate your progress. The after photos are far more fun to capture and share, admittedly. Find yourself on Flickr! Its good to see yourself how others see you. Do you like how you look? In many ways, Flickr helped me lose weight.5 Hire a substitute teacher. Dont reach for the brands you know and love immediately - or without thinking first. Eggs are good for you, but consider using egg substitutes instead (in fact, many restaurants will let you order lower calorie foods). There are countless lower alternatives for you to try. If something different doesnt taste good, by all means - find a better substitute, or eat less of the original. In some cases, the substitute may be worse for you than the regular version of the product. The good news is, healthier choices are silently replacing their normal counterparts - and they taste just as nice.6 Start reading labels. I know it sucks, but you have to do it - and theres no way to avoid this tip. If you dont know what youre putting in your mouth, youre flying blind. Dont assume, either - triple-check the ingredients list and serving sizes. You must rely on yourself for this; nobody else is going to be able to lose the weight or do the math for you. Its not that complicated a task, but it will require effort. If nothing else, just pay attention to the calorie count.7 Whats so funny about bovines? If you like cheese, you must buy the Laughing Cow brand, and keep several of the suckers in stock at all times. The individually-wrapped wedges make for excellent snacks, and are wonderful when melted over just about anything edible. Id be careful about straight-up American cheese, though - its oil, but not necessarily as good for you as (say) a slice of cheddar would be. I have yet to find something as calorie-light and filling as Laughing Cow (I dont know how they do it).8 Tell your family. Youre not going to lose the weight alone, even if you ARE alone in losing the weight. If youve got a family at home, talk to them about it - initially, not incessantly. Let them know what youre going to do, and that you want (and need) their support. If you dont let them know, youre running the risk of them inadvertently sabotaging your efforts. You want them to help you get to your goal(s). You want them to share in your happiness when youve made it past a certain mark. Who knows? Maybe some of your new habits will rub off on them and theyll become healthier people, too?

Diets have their place in your weight loss goals. First of all, they can be beneficial to jump starting your metabolism. Kind of a fire starter if you will. A jump-start will give you more energy and the initial weight loss can boost your self-confidence.However, you will need to be ready to make some whole life changes if you want the results to be permanent. What are some changes you will need to make? Well a lot of that depends on you.Lifestyle Changes- Fast FoodAre you a fast food junkie who eats out at least a couple of times per week? If so, you will find that you have plenty of company. Many people are so busy that the drive through is a perfect solution for dinner, lunch and even breakfast. The problem is many have no idea that one meal from a fast food restaurant can contain nearly a whole day s caloric intake. One popular fast food joint has a burger that is 750 calories! The burger alone is a third of your recommended daily allowance; add the fries and a drink and you are done for the day.Does this mean you can never have fast food again? Not necessarily, but it will mean that you have to be aware of what you are eating. Most fast food places have a website that contains all the nutritional information for the foods they serve. Check them out then make you a list of safe fast foods.Exercise ChangesIf you never move your body more than from the house to the car to work and back you will have a hard time losing weight and keeping it off. The human body functions best when there are periods of exercise. It increases mood stabilizers in the blood stream and best of all burns calories. While you are on your diet, take the time to incorporate exercise into your life. You will feel better and increase your weight loss rates exponentially. Start with a walk, park further away from the store or your office. Then as you progress, find time to walk more or jog. Whatever you can comfortably fit in your schedule will be a great place to start.Healthy EatingThis is absolutely the most important part of all. While you are on your chosen diet, you will want to become familiar with healthier food choices. Find ways to make your favorite foods better for you. Can you substitute ground turkey for ground beef in some recipes? Learn new recipes that include fresh fruits and vegetables. You see your body needs several things to function at a healthy level. Proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals just to name a few. You also need certain fats to cushion joints and protect your vital organs. Create a lifestyle eating plan that brings all of these elements into play and you will feel amazing and best of all you will be able to lose weight and keep it off.Check my source, hope it ll help.Good luck!

All the scientists and dieticians say targeted weight loss is not feasible, especially in the hips and thighs areas, but I managed it with acai berry. I know they say that pills don t work, nevertheless they sure worked for me, and they ve been shown on CBS News too. There is a free trial going on right now at http://bativn.ripajans.com , try it, what is the worst that could happen?

Aerobics are reeally good when it comes to burning fat. If you can t spend money on gyms and such I suggest taking walks, swimming also does wonders!

It looks like there are really two different parts to your question - what a good diet is for weight loss and what a good set of exercises is for toning up the stomach and thighs - so I ll try to answer both of those questions.Regarding diet, the best thing that you can do is to get an in-depth understanding of what you eat and why you eat it. Many people don t really know how many calories they consume and what types of foods they eat most. And unfortunately, many people eat more out of habit and convenience than because they really enjoy their food. The key to stead weight loss over a 3-4 month period is to allow yourself to indulge in the foods that you like while reducing your overall caloric intake. Keep a food diary for the first month. Using that, cut out all foods that you eat just out of habit. Replace them with foods you really like that are healthy with a goal of reducing your overall caloric intake by at least twenty percent. At the same time, you ll want to increase your amount of exercise. The best thing that you can do is to find a form of exercise that you enjoy so that you can stick with it. That s far more important than any one specific exercise. However, you should make sure to combine a cardio exercise with a muscle-building exercise to lose the maximum weight. Pilates is a great example of an exercise that does both; you can do specific pilates work on the areas that you re most concerned about to lose weight in those areas.By decreasing your calories and increasing your exercise with a focus on those areas of the body that you want to lose weight in, you should be satisfied with your results in 3-4 months. By allowing yourself to properly eat foods that you enjoy and to exercise in a way that you find pleasant, you will be able to stick with this diet over time.

How to lose weight for track and field? -

Track season is starting at the end of this month, and I need to get in shape soon! I m 5 4 142 lbs, and I need to lose weight for track. How much should I run everyday before the season starts and so I can start losing weight and start running with the others?

well my track season already started. im a sprinter so far an easy work out is a 400meter, two 300meters, three 200meters, and four 100 meters. but yea just try running a mile a day and doing a daily workout upper body and lower. oo and by the way track isn t all sprinting and long distance running there are also weight throwing events. so if you can t run fast enough you should weight throw. o and by the way i do guys track cus im a guy and i don t know whether your a guy or girl. if your a girl you cans still do weight throwing, but if your running still try to run a mile a day. depending on what events you do you might end up running more then a mile. hell im a sprinter and i sprint a total of like 2 miles.

Ultimately, losing weight comes down to one key principle: Burn more calories than you consume. The steps that follow won t work if you have a thousand more calories coming into your body on a daily basis than you have going out. Lay the foundation for weight loss with these practices:1- Count calories and keep a food diary.2- Go on a diet.3- Cut down on sugar, high fructose corn syrup, trans fats and saturated fats.4- Burn more calories by exercisingDrink lots of water( or fruit cordials with water). , eat your fruits and vegetables , avoid coke and other fuzzy drinks ,for whole-grain food (oatmeal, whole-grain cereal, whole-grain pasta, brown rice and barley) You need to eat foods high in carbs since they are your body s main source of energy. The trick is to choose the right carbs. Simple carbs like sugar and processed flour are quickly absorbed by the body s digestive system. This causes a kind of carb overload, and your body releases huge amounts of insulin to combat the overload. Not only is the excess insulin bad on your heart, but it encourages weight gain. Insulin is the main hormone in your body responsible for fat storage. Eat plenty of carbs, but eat carbs that are slowly digested by the body like whole grain flour, hearty vegetables, oats, and unprocessed grains like brown rice. These kinds of food not only contain complex carbs that are slowly digested by the body, but are usually higher in vitamins and other nutrients that are beneficial to the body and they are higher in fiber which keeps your digestive system running smoothly.Have smaller portions of the food you enjoy.Eat less lunch than usual. For example, make your own sandwich and limit the use of margarine/butter and full-fat mayonnaise (store-bought sandwiches often contain both).as for exercise , you ll burn more calories with cardio (aerobic) exercise than with strength or resistance training.

How to lose weight at a young age without pills? -

I m almost 12 years old,And I m overweight.I m 5 3,And around 165 pounds.I need to lose weight,I know I do.I m also a vegetarian.How could I lose about 65 pounds?

-Drink 8 cups of water a day. It is important for your health that you stay hydrated, but it also improves your diet because you feel more full and you dont retain water weight. -Eat fruits and veggies in between meals to keep yourself full. Fruits and vegetables have very few calories, so they make a good snack if you want to keep your stomach from rumbling. -Exercise at least 30 minutes daily. Jogging and running are great fat busters, but you can also swim, ride your bike, or lift weights.

replace:sodas and juice with waterchips, cookies, etc to fruit or veggiestry exercising about 20 mins EVERYDAYand cut a little bit of calories you eat everyday, FOR EXAMPLE:if you eat 4000 calories one day, eat 3800 the next day, and 3600 the next day. that helped me lose a lot of weight. but stop cutting on the calories when you reached 2000 calories. you need to grow at your age. and just keep eating and exercising at that rate. but just so you know, as you eat less everyday, you stomach gets smaller. DONT eat in the following pattern or your stomachs gonna blow up:-eat a little one day, eat ALOT the next day, eat a little one day, eat ALOT the next

I use to be a little over weight too .. until I joined field hockey. I never did sports, and running a little would get my heart beating. Little by little push yourself to run. Running burns and drops all the baby fat. I stretched, than ran one time around a school to warm up with my team, than we all ran around the field about 6 times. Than we would run across the field about 8 times than keep jogging and did squats. We would have a small break, than keep running back and forth across the field 8 times or so doing this work out called suicides . I must say i went from a flabby tummy and big thighs to stick thin thighs and flat tummy in about a week. Also i combined it with proper eating and lifting weights. I lifted weights only because they offered that class in school to all athletes. Im sure if you just joined a sport, its a fun, easy and fast way to lose weight. Plus the competiton and having your friends around makes the journey to being fit all much more fun. My team really pushed me, but make sure to balance it out with a proper diet but it looks like you already have a good diet because your a vegetarian. Good luck ^.^

You need to cut back on your meals. Eat half portions of what you use to eat. The only way to loose weight and keep it off is by doing it the old school way...eat a healthy balance diet and exercise. Walk, run, take stairs instead of elevators. Small things like that can make a major difference. I m glad you want to get healthy, but don t worry about it too much. Take advantage of your PE classes...I was chubby in middle school and i got thinner in high school. Join a team! I joined the soccer team, so i did a lot of cardio! Plus made new friends, and had lot s of fun.Hope I helped! =)

Congratulations on your weight loss so far that is terrific. I myself have llost 40 lbs myself. I walk almost everyday at least 45 minutes and I have drastically changed my eating habits. I have heard that drinking a green tea helps to lose weight. I found a free trial offer online that seems like it might work. I have looked at the ad and it seems to be fortified with extra ingredients. You can check it out at: http://health-fitness-beautywomen.blogspot.com/

Drink only water. Also, only eat until your full, so eat slowly cause it takes a while for your body to tell if it s full. Or u could do it the European way and eat until 70% full. Also, don t eat extra snacks. And if u want to be exact, find your daily calory intake and subtract it from your basic Metabolism rate (look up on google) and you ll get your loss (or gain). And keep in mind that it would be that if u just sat in bed all day.

Weight loss tips please? -

im a 14 year old female who weights 177=[any tips?

Good question, maybe this answer helps you ;)If you are in your teens and you want to lose weight, then you are not alone. Millions of teens are out of shape, overweight or obese and problem is only increasing, this means that most teens and people in general fail to lose weight permanently. It is very easy for a teen to get influenced by the mainstream media to make sudden and drastic changes in order to lose weight. Very often this is the reason why so many folks fail, weight loss is a slow process that takes time. If one does not have much information about nutrition and exercise, then crash diets are usually the first choice for teens. But crash diets have to be avoided at all cost.A very low calorie diet can actually make you gain more weight not the other way around. If you cut your calories too low, your body automatically thinks that you are starving, so the body holds on to the fat, making it harder and harder to lose fat. If the progress stops and you do not lose any more weight, then teens cut their calories even lower but this makes weight loss only more impossible. And finally they just give up and continue with their bad lifestyle. To combat this problem you have to burn more calories with exercise. To get rid of extra weight you need a calorie deficit, cutting calories through diet should be minimal and burning calories through exercise maximum. Teens can lose weight fast only if they push themselves in every workout. The faster you want to lose weight, the more effort you have to put in.Keeping it simple and going one step at a time is essential to lose weight permanently. Too many people make losing weight a lot more complicated then it actually is. A healthy balanced diet with regular exercise is all you need. Burn more calories then you consume - Simple!

because u are so young, diet pills can be horrible on your body, but if you feel like you are eating too much then you can try appetite suppressant drink mixes. you mix them in your drink about 30 minutes to an hour before eating and it makes you feel like your not hungry. i would talk to your parents before taking it, but if you get the right ones then they can be perfectly safe. also, ask your parents if they d like to go on a walk every night and maybe take your dogs or something. If you make it so your not working out alone, then you ll enjoy it more and want to do it more often.

I would exercise (like taking walks, jogging, running, push-ups, ect.) I would also start eating healther, smaller meals such as salads and fish. Too many meats, breads and rice arn t good. Hope this helps!

500 sit-ups, 50 push-ups, run 1 mile, and 50 crunchs do all this every day when you watch tv stand don t sit

How to lose weight when your a kid? -

How do I lose weight? I am 12 years old and I weigh 97 pounds. I eat a lot of junk food but exercise a lot. If someone could give me some tips on how to stay healthy while eating delicious foods.

Check these 10 smart ways of eating to lose weightGradually fits these strategies into your life, and expect small daily progress- which will lead to impressive results over time. 1.Never eat straight out of a container. Putting food onto a plate forces you to acknowledge the size of your portions. 2.For one week, measure out single portions of everything you eat on a scale. You will train your eye to recognize proper serving sizes. 3.Avoid alcohol whenever possible. Research shows drinking it before or during a meal can increase calorie consumption by 40 percent because it reduces your impulse control.4.At a buffer, survey the entire table first, and then take reasonable portions of the two or three foods that you must try. Fill the rest of your plate with fruits and veggies, and then make a beeline for the tables thats farthest from the food. 5.Choose bold cheese varieties, such a blue cheese and parmesan that offer a wallop of flavor in small quantities. You will get more taste, fewer calories. 6.Eat slowly and savor your meals by getting rid of distractions C television, cell phone C that lead to mindless overeating. 7.In the supermarket, spring for treats packaged in single-serving bags. They cost a little more, but the built-in impulse control makes them worth it.8.Surround yourself with bottled water C in your car, next to your computer, in your packet-book. Staying hydrated staves off false hunger pangs. 9.Take eggs into your daily meals. Theres a lot of nutrition within that shell. Research shows that people who ate eggs at breakfast lost twice as much weight, stayed full longer and had more energy throughout the day compared to those who had bagels for breakfast. 10.Replace your desserts with yogurt. Calcium is King when it comes to staving off hunger and helping you lose weight effectively; that prevent your body from storing fat.

Staying active is a great first step. The next step - the bad news - is to clean up your diet and eat less. You have to decide how important this is to you. If you can t stay away from junk, then try to eat less of it.People gain and lose weight based on a simple idea: getting fewer calories than you need forces your body to burn fat. Getting more calories than you need will allow your body to store some of the extra as fat.So, it s easy: eat less! Junk food is delicious, and can be very hard to give up. Focus on cutting back at first. Every little improvement to your lifestyle will cause a little bit of improvement to your body. At first, when you cut back, you ll want the junk food really badly, but as time goes on, you ll see your progress and it will make it easier to change your priorities. You can do this! I believe in you! Taking responsibility for your appearance and your lifestyle is the first step, and the hardest. You can look however you want if you re willing to put the work in, but nothing comes for free. Stay focused, and good luck!

you cannot eat a lot of junk and stay healthy. you can, however, eat some junk food every once in awhile and stay healthy. i recommend you eat lots of raw vegetables and fruits and drink lots of water. avoid carbonated drinks (soft drinks/pop) and ditch the junk food for awhile and you should see lots of difference.

You shouldnt really try to at that age, your genetic factor shows that your current weight is needed so that you can grow properly.I am 14, and really I have just been gaining weight but am getting slimmer, until you are done growing dont focus on losing weight but on exercising other parts of your body, like I am close to 6 pack abs at my age.

Try enjoying natures candy - fruit. Eat all the fruit you want. Delicious nectarines, grapes, plums from your local supermarket are sooo good. Tell mom or dad to pick some fruits out next time they shop. And keep up the exercise; if you want more results - sweat more and drink more water!! Cut out the capri suns, and cool-aid and you ll weigh less in a few weeks.

keep being active and try eating chicken in salads. use a vingerette. taste good and its healty. try to eat white meat, except pork. fish and chicken

you can still eat good food but dont eat as much and eat more protien it should ballence it out

There are many delicous foods that aren t junk.. when I was about your age I lost 7 pounds by riding a bike for fun.. and it came off really easily.
