I cant control my eating amp; lose weight!? -

I just can t. I walk, and I m pretty active, and i do not look too fat but i am overweight and my BAD cholesterol is already super high. I really don t want to be overweight anymore because don t want to have any health problems. Advice on how to control my eating? Excersises? how to lose weight in a healthy way?

Talk to your dr before doing anything else. they can give you the info you need for diet and exercise

-applauds-that was for wanting to do it the healthy way :Dbut, you could talk with your doctor to get a diet/exercize program thats right for you.

start slowly.cut out regular sodas and those caloried laden coffee drinks.drink at least 8 glasses of water.exercise a little bit at a time. park your car further away from the mall or from work. take the stairs instead of the elevator. and don t use the remote control for the tv. it sounds stupid but it will force you up.my food tip. don t eat in front of the TV or the computer. sit down. don t stand up. sit down and drink a glass of water before you even start to eat. eat slowly. chew things up more than usual.and talk to your doctor. see if he/she can recommend a nutritionist.

u can eat a healty food or do a healthy diet dont to pushed by didnt eat anything, stop eat junk food and do light cardio

Cant never could do nothing, you got to want to do it.

I have the same problem.I joined Weight Watchers online on their website and it works great if you follow it. It is not hard at all.I am on the core program (you can choose one of two different programs) and basically we eat 5 servings of fruit and vegitables a day. We also drink a lot of water. It works.Go to www.weightwatchers.com.It costs about $16 a month. Ask your parents if they will pay for you to join and tell them you are worried about your health. Good luck honey, I know how hard it can be to gain weight.

Eat better foods instead of grabbing whatever you see first. Make wise choices =] you will succeed! Oh and be sure to drink water to clean out your body.

Kudos for wanting to go about managing your weight in a healthy way. First, get your parents on board with you. They can help by keeping healthy food in the house and being a support system for you. BECAUSE, if your doctor s response to you wanting to take care of your high levels of bad cholesterol was You re pretty you need a new doctor. Try finding a sport you like, a way that you can exercise and enjoy it. Remember, not everybody is destined to be a size 2 so if you are eating healthfully and exercising, you should be able to avoid health problems in the future.

The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won t help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don t eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i m going pretty well if i don t say myself. 90 LBS isn t anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice. If you want anymore details, feel free to email me. ~Adia

How do you lose weight, fast? (not by starvation!)? -

I need to

Go on biggest loser. Those suckers lose hundreds in weeks.

I m not a health expert or anything, but I do know that losing weight in a healthy way doesn t always go as fast as you would like. But in the end the results are better and you FEEL better too. The things that have worked the best for me are: (and I ve noticed dramatic differences even in the past few weeks) 1. really being careful about portion sizes and not eating past the point where you feel satisfied. 2. Substituting regular snack foods for vegetables 3. Eating only whole grains 4. Having a daily exercise routine and walking/biking rather than driving 5. Avoid any food with high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated/partially-hydrogenated oilsOnce again, this is what has worked best for me and my lifestyle and body type. The best thing is probably to go see a nutrition specialist who knows everything about everything health related.

one of the important factors for losing weight is all about the right foods...exercise too..but more on what you eat and how much..limit yourself..try to control cravings for fattening foods such as chocolate and junk foods..if you do have a habit of eating fattening foods..gradually slow it down..if you can t control yourself..maybe promise yourself to lose the amount of calories that you ate from lets say one piece of chocolate! if there is a certain part of your body that you want to reduce fat from...get exercises that would be helpful..running on the treadmill doesn t do all the magic..also try 10 minutes of ab workouts or thigh exercises..if you want to lose a certain amount in a certain time period..then you may want to spend more time exercising!

You could try to eat healthier and excercise. Don t eat big servings and if you re hungry afterwards wait 20 minutes, that s how long it takes for your brain to catch up with your stomach. And if you really need chocolate or something eat like one or two squares not the whole bar.Hope this helps!

join a gym. dont got money for that, then get excerise dvd ( the biggest loser dvd help me, so did Julllian micheals dvds) eat right by getting THE BIGGEST LOSER COOK BOOKS. get everything low fat or diet. if you drink soda or something DONT drink WATER!!!!!its going to be HARD!!! but just remember that SUMMER is coming :D

exercise, mostly cardio, and when doing cardio involve major muscle groups such as the quads (legs). also knock out sugars from your diet such as pop/sodas, and candies. eat more fruits and veggies, and also just watch your intake of foods, proportion meals properly.

Eat oatmeal and fruit for all your meals. I bet you can t eat enough oatmeal to overdue your calorie intake. Excercise a ton.

How can I lose weight FAST? -

I need to lose at least 40 lbs. by the end of august and I need some serious advice. I want the BEST way to lose the weight fast. please help!!!

Get Lean with the Magnetic Diet Seven Step PlanCombined with strength conditioning, energization exercises, pranayama life force control and meditation the magnetic diet seven step plan will when followed guarantee that you achieve a low level of body fat in a predetermined period of time. Ultimate leanness is defined as single digit body fat percentages for men and low teen body fat percentages for women. This is the level of body fat necessary if you want to be able to actually see the definition of your abdominal muscles. The magnet diet in combination with the right amount of physical activity will create the necessary calorie deficit to achieve ultimate leanness. The time it takes for you to achieve that will of course depend on how much fat you have to lose. For example, if you currently weigh 200 pounds and are at 23% body fat and your goal is to be at 9% body fat you have about 25 pounds of fat to loose. To loose 25 pounds of fat while maintaining or even gaining muscle should take you approximately 6 to 7 months. You can lose 25 pounds in a much quicker time frame, but will it be 25 pounds of fat? No it will not, remember when you lose weight too quickly much of the weight lost can end up being muscle. And as we learned earlier if you lose muscle you will create the condition for a boomerang weight gain of fat down the road. Now 6 to 7 months may sound like a long time but in reality its not. In our society we want everything quick and easy, but the truth is that nothing worth having comes quick or easy. 6 to 7 months of your life will pass by no matter what you do, you cannot stop time. But by following the magnetic diet seven step success plan the difference will be that 6 to 7 months from the time you start you will have achieved your goal, you will have attained your desired body fat percentage, you will look great and most important of all you will have achieved a very high level of health and vitality. Remember the goal is to lose fat and maintain or even gain muscle so losing the fat slowly is the way. Here is the plan:Step 1. Determine your current body fat percentageGet your body fat measured by a personal trainer or health professional, or purchase Tanita body composition monitor or other similar device.Step 2. Decide on a goal body fat percentage:Whats it going to be 15%, 10%, 5%? They are all achievable, you just have to decide. Once you have decided then calculate the amount of fat that you will have to lose. Take you current body fat percentage minus the goal body fat percentage and convert that to a decimal value add 1 and divide your current weight by that amount. The difference between the result and your current weight is the number of pounds of fat you need to lose. For example a 200 pound person at a 23% body fat who wants to achieve a 9% body fat would do the following: 23 percent minus 9 percent = 14 percent14 percent = .14 .14 +1 = 1.14200 pounds divided by 1.14 = 175 pounds200 C 175 = 25 pounds of fat to loseStep 3.Determine your current resting metabolic rateDetermine your current resting metabolic rate using the formulas on page 112.Step 4.Determine your maximum daily caloric intakeRemember you want to create a calorie per day deficit so maximum daily caloric intake is equal to your resting metabolic rate plus any additional physical activity as measured in calories minus 500 calories.Use this as a tool: http://www.magnetic-diet.com/calc/daily_Step 5.Adjust the diet using portion sizes and snacksAdjust the portion sizes slightly in the main meals or add or subtract snack portions to get to the maximum daily caloric intake.Step 6 Determine the length of time to achieve your goal The amount of fat you need to lose divided by a pound a week = the number of weeks it will take to achieve your goal.Step 7Follow the Magnetic Diet Seven Day Success Plan Not only will it result in your achieving your goal but it will ensure life long health and vitality. Adjust your caloric intake and activity level as your weight drops. Remember as your body weight drops so do your caloric needs. You must reduce your caloric intake or you will reach a plateau.More info online - Read the book free of charge at:http://www.magnetic-diet.com/book

One thing that will help you lose weight: diet pills. I was one of those who did not believe in them until I tried it. And I tried a few. If u quit binge eating, and drinking a bunch of soda, and evercise a half hr a day, will u lose weight fast? -

I mean by still eating normal food too, like fast food, and regular everyday food, can u lose weight this way?

You will loose weight doing any one of those three things. Doing all 3 of them is a guarantee you will loose weight. Try also replacing your binge eating with healthy foods. You will be amazed how fast the weight will come off and how much better you will feel. Good luck.

If you rapidly change your diet you will get sick, then when your body gets used to being healty about a day later then you lose weight like there s no tommorrow. But you only lose weight if you exercise regularly and equally. For example, if you choose you want to run, you should run every day for 30-40 minutes (or more if you want to get faster).

yeah sure good luck,kate

How to lose weight fast and keep it off? -

im 26 and 17stone but im very broad and most of my weight is on my guts and i play a lot of sport rugby golf ect

If you want to lose weight and keep it off, do it slowly. Then exercise. Also make sure some of the weight is not muscle weighing. If you play Rugby and Golf gets you to exercise.Don t mistake muscle for fat.You need to exercise just the stomach I think.

It is possible to lose weight rapidly but you should be realistic and take on board that if you lose weight rapidly then you will inevitably put it all back on again just as rapidly. I lost 6 pounds over the past few weeks when I had a wedding to go to, and I did it by following the tips and tricks presented on the website in the box below.

have you tried the Lil Jack routine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezr

How can i lose weight fast, Please help.? -

When i was in high school about 4 years ago. Working out everyday for football i was about 215 lbs. Im now 255 pounds and would like to lose as much as i can, without being unhealthy. I can do the work out part i just need some type of weekly meal plan that can help me. Thanks guys for your help

It s really very simple. There are 2 categories of workouts and you only need to focus on one of those for weight loss.1. Resistance training - weight lifting, sit-ups, push-ups, etc.2. Cardiovascular Training - walking/running, swimming, jumping jacks, dancing to the oldies, etc.You need only to focus on #2 for weight loss. #1 is good for muscle tone but does little for weight loss.Cardiovascular exercises are simple and you don t need any fancy equipment. For successful weight loss, all you need to do is any body movements that get your heart rate higher than normal. That s what cardiovascular workouts are all about. They simply get your heart rate up and burn off fat.You will need to keep your heart rate up for longer than 20 minutes per session in order to achieve a successful burn. The body takes that much time to warm up and begin the burn. Any huffy-puffy activity will work such as walking, running, going up and down stairs, vigorous dancing, jumping rope, just anything that makes you huff and puff. That s the key - huff and puff for over 20 minutes a session. This is how your body burns off fat.CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR FOR ADVICE ON THE SAFEST WORKOUT FOR YOU.Don t get discouraged!Contrary to popular TV, there is no such thing as targeting an area of your body for weight loss. The reality is that you will see the fattest part of your body lose weight last! You will notice it first in your face. The thickest fat is the last to go so don t lose heart if you don t see your targeted area going anywhere at first.Simply create a huffy-puffy workout for yourself that lasts over 20 minutes per session and stick to a daily routine for best results.Another tip is don t rely on what the scales say everyday. That will discourage you. The better way to monitor your progress is to observe your clothes getting looser. The scales can be misleading because as you lose weight, typically you are also building muscle mass. This dual change may look like you are not losing fat when you actually are.Checking your heart rate. Take your fingers of your left hand and place them about an inch to the right of the center of your right hand wrist as it faces palm up. This should be at your right-hand wrist below your thumb. You should feel a pulse there. Now count the number of beats in a 6 second period. Multiply that number by 10 and that s your heart rate. A reasonably safe and effective heart rate during an exercise burn is about 120 for most people 30C50 years old.A bland diet will speed the weight loss up for sure. But if you re like me, starting a daily exercise program plus starting a bland diet is just too emotionally stressful (wink, wink). So, I say, for those of us who want some type of reward for working out everyday, continue enjoying your favorite foods - just cut your portions down. Train yourself to learn when you are satisfied as you eat a meal and stop eating at that point rather than eating until you feel full. You ll be surprised at how early in the meal you are satisfied. So, just stop eating at that point. Make a habit of it.I am a 52 year old male and I am using a programmed treadmill which uses a combination walk/ 5 mph. run workout for 30 minutes a day. I am losing 2-3 pounds a week just doing that and cutting my favorite food portions back the way I mentioned before. My peak heart rate during this routine is 140. (Just telling you this in hopes that it will give you some idea of what 30 minutes a day will do for you so you can adjust your workout to suit your targeted weight loss time frame.) Good luck! I hope this helps.

You have to come up with some type of a reward system, this will help keep you motivated. One of the best things to do is make a contingency contract. Stating what you want to do, who will help you do it, and what do you get for doing it. Then also try to find a well balance diet program. My friend did this one diet program where the average weight lose is 7 pounds in 9 days. It might be the thing you are looking for, I know it s well balanced. If you want e-mail me and I can tell you more about either of these.

Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the daily calorie needs calculator http://calorieneedscalculator.com This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.Beginner s Guide to Dieting - http://straightdiet.com

Everybody is different so don t go to buy the next big diet that they throw out on the market. There is a website on the internet where they actually have a weight loss expert record a CD specifically for you! I heard people are getting Great results! They send you a questionaire and ask that you fill it out as honestly as possible, then they get to work! Its like having your very own personal trainer in your CD player! check it out and I hope that it helps! http://www.PersonalizedWeightLoss.net

Excercise daily. Try not to be in front of the t.v or computer as much. Limit the foods that you eat and eat more healthier foods. Not saying that this is you, just giving examples.

DRINK ALOT OF WATER!!

me t oso ill wait for an answer

Does wrapping yourself in a trash bag really help to lose weight faster, when walking? -

no way... it makes you the laughing stock of all those who see you.Instead opt for a sauna. It s deceny and dignified. No stomach crunches and cut down on fatty chocholates and ice-creams.Exercise and work out so as to sweat your guts out and you ll burn calories. Sit or stand erect, that way ,your posture burns extra calories, without you havinf to do special exercises for it.

yeah definately. im 105 lb wrestler at my high school. and i usually have to lose about 3-5 lbs in about 3 days or so. and i found out that if u wear a trash bag, wear layers, and run in the heat for about 30 mins then u lose about a pound....no lie Report Abuse

I understand the theory behind it but I think one donut would equal a lifetime of the reduction trash bags add.

i hear it makes you sweat the fat off

i have never heard that bt i shall try it

yes because when people pass and start laughing at you, you will run and burn more calories lol

even if it does, it would be a negligible amount and certainly not worth the embarassment of looking like a hobo.

only by sweating more, but then you have to drink more to replace it so...no

No not really. It makes you sweat, which loses fluid, but as soon as you drink water, you gain it right back. It could actually hurt you if you get to hot when walking, could cause heat stroke. Your body can t cool itself off like it needs to, the reason you sweat.

eeeewwww.... just promise me you ll take a shower afterward

You will probably feel too self concious to go out walking in a trash bag. I think it would create bad feelings which create negative energy in the body. That does not promote a heathy being.
