Is this a healthy weight loss time line? -

right now i weigh 198, and iv just started exercising and eating better. im taking it slow, but i have lost about a pound a day for the last few days. im pretty sure thats just cuz i have SO much to lose that my body is ready to get rid of it quickly right now. my goal is to get to the 140 s, but by the end of the summer i want to be 160. (my summer ends at the end of august) is that a realistic goal? 40 pounds in 3 and a half months? that would be almost 10 pounds a month, and i expect to lose faster right now just cuz i am so overweight.
