Suggestions for healthy weight loss...?!? -

One of my good friends is trying to lose weight. I m worried about her, because I think she is doing it in an unhealthy way. She skips meals and takes diet pills. I ve suggested that she burn more calories than she takes in and toss out the diet pills, but she claims she doesn t have time for exercise. I m very worried. Does anyone have any healthy ideas I could suggest to her? Thank you!

Just do them often and challenge yourself. Don t slop like a couch potato and watch tv. Don t drive your car unless it s for shopping. get a Canadian food guide off the internet personalized to your age. Treat yourself every 3 weeks. My definition of treat: (1) 100 calorie chocolate bar OR 1 bowl of BAKED not fried chips with low salt. Then walk or run it off. Drinks: pulp orange juice, 3 glasses of milk, 8-10 glasses of water a day. (2 water bottles full if you run or jog or walk long distances) Take a shower after each end of the day to prevent from muscle sores. Eat salads or homemade sanwiches with WHOLE WHEAT bread. No foods with MSG on the ingredient label.
