What are your best Spring weight-loss tips? -

As the weather gets warmer, I ve realised I need to lose that bit of extra flab to get into my swimsuit in a few months. What are some good ways to lose a few centimetres from the waist and hips particularly?

Ok here it is. IT IS the SIMPLEST solution and it it is WIN WIN never FAIL one.During the time you want to make the difference (NEVER EVER use that word DIET!)DON T EAT *Takeway food -YES thats right - McDonalds or any of them*Chocolate, lollies, RICH full of sugar fat after dinner desertsSoft drink, wine or alcoholCheck labels at supermarket - if table says it s a HIGH number in FAT content - put it back - find a different brand with LESS fat JUST BUY healthy food when you shop - LOTS OF FRESH FRUIT VEGIES don t have the crap food that YOU KNOW is fattenning. IF it s NOT in the fridge or cupboard you WON T be eating it.Before long, you will get to LOVE that freshly made Salad chicken/ham/tuna sandwich at lunch andthat meal at night of stirfry fresh diced up vegies, or lean meat grill and a BIG PLATE of FRESH VEGIES andto finish it off a really tasty bowl of your own home made fruit salad with low fat fruit yoghiurt/ OR IF you must - 1 tablespoon scoop of the fat free icecreamJUST REMEMBER - the key word is MODERATION... just enough to tell the brain the message that you had something sweet... like 1 square of choclate... brain gets the message - it s just the piggy in you that needs the WHOLE BAR! and to top it off - get off ya bum 3 times a week and go for a 20 minute BRISK walk OR better still a jog (at your own pace to start then you will improve) AND you will get to enjoy it TRUST MEIF you follow that believe me - IT WORKS... I am 59 and have a body BETTER than I was when I was 21! Lean, trim, taut, terrific and I look great in a bikiini (people tell me - I m NOT self opinionated)!IF I CAN DO IT you can do it.... go on - yes you canThe BRISK walk or JOG is the easiest solution after eating sensibly to get weight OFFyour hips and waist. A few weeks ago I started doing little walks at lunchtime. I started off power walking, then trying to do a jog for a few minutes then walking and now I just try to jog all the time. I got for 30 minutes so there s enough time to get back, have a shower and eat lunch, but not long enough to get bored. Eat all your meals in front of the mirror..... in the nude!Just joking!But the reason why you would do this is important - to keep yourself accountable. It s too easy to lie to yourself or turn a blind eye when it comes to making sure what you eat will take you further towards your fat loss goal. *walk to and from work if you can as much as possible*eat lots of protine and fiber for breakfast because this will fill you up and give you more energy and that will help you stop snacking throughout the day*get carmen electra s strip fit dvd. thats a fun way to excercise*get work outs for dummies its a dvd that shows you different excercises that work different parts of your body eg thighs, abs, arms and buns etc so you can concentrate on whatever part of your body you want to shape*replace soft drink, juice etc with water*drink lots of water during the day because this will keep your stomach full without having to eat anything. (you will need to go to the toilet heaps though)*do sit ups on the couch while you are watching tv. (its better to do them on the floor but if your like me you wont care)

Buy a skipping rope and skip (in your backyard or even in your house if you have room for it) its a great work out!Try to eat healthy, drink plenty of water and try to drink only herbal tea and not coffee or soft drinks. Try to eat a little more healthier. Don t eat less! It only helps you to put on weight when you do because your metabolism isn t used to you eating less, when you do eat, you ll put the weight straight back on! Try making normal things into exercise. Dance while your vacuuming, or run upstairs.And most importantly, Tell yourself everyday that your beautiful and convince yourself your losing weight. A good body comes with a good self esteem!

to speed up your metabolism eat lots of good foods for breakky. tub of yoghurt with some cereal and an apple and switch your morning coffee with some water thats what i plan on doing. go for a walk/jog in the arvo for 30mins to an hour. do that about everyday if you can. it takes 5 days of work out to burn the fat and three days to keep the weight off. eat lots of protein and fruit n vege and your set!! i dropped two dress sizes just doing this. i used to walk around the block it took about 40 mins but it had a steep hill.

The best tip I have is... eat all what you want BUT served in an entree plate. About loosing few centimeters in your waist and hips, put cling wrap around those areas and go for a walk daily of around 20 to 40 minutes... you lll be surprised by the results!

In general I would try and be active but really focus on your diet. Eat quality foods that are high in protein and low in fat and eat plenty of green veggies.
