Exercise too little? -

Last year I was exercising a little too much that i ran myself down. I lost a lot of weight but unfortunately i ve gained some of it whilst taking a break from exercise. My new regime allows me to work out (weight train) 3 days a week and cardio other days where as my old program gave me a weight training workout 5 days a week. Will this new program be sufficient for healthy weight loss as my body still contains some of the muscle I built all those months ago?

If you got run down, it was not because of the amount of exercise you were doing. Look at professional athletes and dancers. They spend, maybe, six to eight hours a day exercising hard without getting run down. The problem might be poor diet or lack of sleep or who-knows-what. If you get that run down feeling again, go to your family physician.Meanwhile, here are some diet and fitness links that you will find helpful.Ideal body weight calculator for children and adults: http://pediatrics.about.com/cs/growthchaBody Mass Index calculator for children and adults: http://www.keepkidshealthy.com/welcome/bThis web site from the National Institutes for Health tells how to take charge of your weight: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/weighHere is a page that explains how to eat a balanced diet for different calorie levels.
