Help on teen weight loss? -

hi..so im 13 and i weich 132. but i wanna get back down to at least 120. i wanna get it off before its too late. plz help. i already know to exercise and eat right..its just a lil hard..i dont wanna do any weight loss programs i just wanna do it at home on my own.

I think what you should do is study about nutrition. Learn what is best for you to eat. Of course, vegetables, fruit, lean meats. It s really about cutting out processed foods, bad fats, and watching portion sizes. If you eat vegetables and fruit, you can actually eat larger portions to help fill you up. For the exercise I would suggest doing something like getting a video and you could do it in the privacy of your own room! Good luck!

the basic thing is what you already know..diet and exercise. there are many ways to do both of these things though. for instance, if you have On Demand (with comcast) then you can watch exercise videos for free. The one with the biggest loser coach was SUPER hard, but it burns so many calories. for healthy eating you should cut out as many sweets/complex carbs/and all around junk food as you can. when somebody asks you if you would like a brownie, just say NO. after awhile it gets a lot easier, trust me. you can also run, which i believe is the best form of exercise. start by just going around your block and then slowly work up over time. it takes 3 months for something to become habit so just stick with it and i m sure you ll see results.

Weight loss is about calories.Eat less than you burn and you will lose weight. The one thing that you need to recognize is that this is aLifestyle not something you do over the weekend. At 13 your metab is in high gear. My suggestion is running 2 miles 3 days a week. Set a goal to complete a 5k organized run in 2 months. them a 10k in 9 months. Train to complete these events and you will meet goal and should exceed them. You really need to learn to enjoy working out. The high it gives and the satisfaction. It should be a time to separate from the word and spend selfish time on you. Last thing ti NO FOOD REWARDS. Most people tend to reward success with food. bad idea.

The solution to teenage weight loss is a healthy way of living. Here are 6 tips for a healthy teenage weight loss that you can use to help your teenager lose weight.1. Substitute Unhealthy Snacks With Healthy SnacksIt is a difficult task to choose healthy options while vending machines monopolize the school halls, however it is achievable. Sweet talk your teenager to swap the bag of chips per day with the following healthier snack choices from your home:? Grapes (frozen)? Fresh fruits such as strawberries or oranges? Capsicum (sliced)? Fresh cherry tomatoes? Baby carrots? Pudding or low fat yogurt? Dry biscuits or pretzels? Crackers? String cheese2. Eat In Small PortionA teenage weight loss plan must include eating habit. Encouraging your teenager to eat in small portion and to stop eating when they are full. Consuming just half a plate of spaghettis or a slice of pizza may make them feel full. Sharing a meal is also a good option and any leftovers is best to be taken home.3. Always Know The Liquid Calories QuantityA can of soda (12 ounce) has no less than 100 calories plus 10 tsp of sugar. The sugar plus the calories in specialty coffees, fruit juice and other drinks adds up quickly to your calories intake as well. Choosing drinking water as an alternative to sodas and drinks laden with sugar will spare your teenager hundreds of superfluous calories. 4. Permit Special TreatsOccasionally, having pizza late at night with friends or having nachos at the mall shall be permitted in the teenage weight loss plan. Propose a breadstick together with marinara sauce as a replacement for garlic bread loaded with cheese and butter or share a snack instead of a full-size order. .............................
